Abstract

Most sea turtle species around the world are threatened with extinction. The threat of sea turtle extinction is largely caused by humans for consumption, souvenirs, trade, medicine and religious activities as well as for commercial purposes such as the sale of eggs, meat and shells. This human behavior is threatening sea turtle populations. Preventing the decline of these threatened sea turtle populations requires changes in human behavior that are educated through conservation campaigns. This international service was carried out with the aim of recognizing local culture and local wisdom products and participating in painting traditional Thai pottery. This activity is a community service activity that collaborates between the Faculty of Economics and Business of Swadaya Gunung Jati University Indonesia, Panca Sakti Tegal University Indonesia, Suan Dusit University and Eastern Instutite for Integrated Learning in Management University India. Community service activities were carried out in Nong Nooch Thailand, with a total of 25 participants consisting of 10 students and 15 lecturers. Sea turtle conservation is one of the community's efforts to preserve the environment and sea turtle habitat for the survival of sea turtles

Abstract

The objective of this research is to explore and assess the extent to which individual traits, the harmony between occupational and personal responsibilities, as well as adherence to organizational policies, influence the productivity of employees in Regional Public Companies located in West Java. This investigation utilized a quantitative approach, engaging a total workforce of 140 individuals. Following the exclusion of directors and non-permanent staff, the final sample comprised 130 respondents who filled out a structured questionnaire. The analysis of the data demonstrated that each of the three examined aspects significantly affects employee output. The statistical outcomes indicated that individual characteristics, work-life integration, and compliance with company regulations notably contribute to employee productivity, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.001, which is well below the 0.05 threshold, and t-values greater than 1.978. Moreover, the determination coefficient (R²) stood at 0.983, signifying that 98.3% of the variation in performance could be attributed to the studied variables, while only 1.7% was linked to other influences. Additionally, the correlation coefficient (R) was recorded at 0.992, reflecting a very high positive association 99.2% between the measured aspects and work performance. These results underscore the necessity of fostering a supportive work setting, encouraging favorable personal attributes, and maintaining organizational discipline to enhance employee effectiveness within Regional Public Companies in the West Java region.

Abstract

Amidst the global labor shortage and high employee turnover, CV SN JAYA PRIMA, a wood manufacturing company, shows a different condition. Unlike the global trend, the company experiences low employee turnover, with a healthier, more productive and long-term committed workforce. This study investigates the relationship between well-being, work motivation and job satisfaction, using the PERMA model (Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Achievement) and Herzberg's Two Factor Theory (hygiene and motivation factors). A quantitative approach is used in a case study of 225 employees of CV SN JAYA PRIMA. Regression analysis using SPSS shows that well-being and work motivation have a significant effect on job satisfaction. These results emphasize the importance of building well-being and motivation as an effort to improve job satisfaction and employee retention. The company's success provides insights for other industries in addressing workforce retention challenges.

Abstract

Employee performance in the manufacturing industry is the key to the company’s success, influenced by individual abilities as well as factors such as work stress, workload, and the interrelated work environment. Given the significance of these factors, the study aims to identify how they affect employee performance in the manufacturing sector. A quantitative approach was used, with a simple random sampling method selecting 110 respondents from a population of 183 in the production section. Data was collected through a Likert scale-based questionnaire consisting of 42 statements, reflecting indicators for each variable. SPSS version 25 was used to analyze the data, including validity and reliability tests, hypothesis testing using the t-test, and classical assumption tests such as normality and multicollinearity. The normality test results indicate that the data is normally distributed (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test value = 0.093, p > 0.05), and the multicollinearity test confirms no excessive relationship between the independent variables (tolerance > 0.10, VIF < 10). Hypothesis testing reveals that work stress (X1) and workload (X2) have insignificant negative effects on employee performance (t = -1.697 and t = -1.865, p > 0.05), while the work environment (X3) has a small but positive effect (t = 1.664, p > 0.05), though not statistically significant. These results suggest that while stress and workload do not significantly hinder performance, a supportive work environment may contribute positively, albeit marginally, to employee productivity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how employee performance in manufacturing organizations is impacted by transformational leadership style, work environment, and job satisfaction. This study used an associative, quantitative methodology with a sample of 110 employees from PT. Siraj Badawi Cukup Rupiah. Likert scale surveys were used to gather data, and the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach was used to analyze the results. The findings of the study indicate that employee performance is not significantly impacted by transformative leadership. Employee performance is also not significantly impacted by the workplace. Nonetheless, employee performance is significantly impacted by work satisfaction. These results suggest that elements other than work environment and leadership style may be more important in raising employee performance. The significance of job happiness in raising employee commitment and productivity is emphasized by this study. Therefore, it is recommended that businesses concentrate more on enhancing job happiness in order to sustainably maximize employee performance.

Abstract

Enhancing employee performance is influenced by competence, training, and pay. The study’s goal was to examine how these three elements affected worker performance in Kuningan’s poultry processing sector. The study employed a quantitative, associative research design. Out of 242 employees, 151 respondents were chosen for the study using a purposive sampling technique. Using SmartPLS software, questionnaires with a five-level Likert scale were distributed in order to collect data, which was then analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The findings indicated that while compensation did not significantly affect employee performance on its own, competency and training did. On the other hand, with a 54.1% contribution, competence, training, and pay all significantly affect employee performance. Competency is the variable that influences other variables the most strongly.
