Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the outing class method on students' writing skills in Indonesian language learning in grade III of SDN 2 Baregbeg. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects consisted of 22 third-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively with an emphasis on the process and results of students' writing after participating in the outing class activity. The results of the study show that the application of the outing class method was carried out in three stages, namely planning, implementation, and follow-up. In the planning stage, the teacher prepared the objectives, location, and observation sheets. In the implementation stage, students were invited to observe the school environment, record their observations, and discuss them in groups. In the follow-up stage, students wrote about their experiences in the form of simple essays. The results of the students' writing showed improvement in terms of the relevance of the content to the theme, clarity of the main ideas, paragraph structure, vocabulary usage, language rules, and creativity. The conclusion of this study shows that the outing class method has a positive impact on improving students' writing skills, both in terms of content, structure, and learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model on the interest in learning mathematics among fifth-grade students at Ciporos 01 Public Elementary School. This study used a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of all 16 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 16.0 through prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity tests) and hypothesis testing using a paired sample t-test to compare the average pretest and posttest results. The results showed that the students' pretest scores ranged from a high of 89 to a low of 61, with an average of 73.19. Meanwhile, the posttest scores showed a highest score of 94, a lowest score of 82, and an average of 89.56. A comparison of these two data sets shows an increase of 16.375%. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model has a positive effect on increasing students' interest in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Pendidikan Jasmani   memiliki peran fundamental dalam mendukung perkembangan individu secara holistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan kerangka kerja filosofis yang lebih kokoh dalam memahami serta mengembangkan Pendidikan Jasmani. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan filosofis, penelitian ini berupaya menggali makna yang lebih mendalam dari aktivitas fisik, mengintegrasikan aspek kesejahteraan fisik dan mental, serta melakukan analisis kritis terhadap metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam bidang Pendidikan Jasmani. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Jasmani yang lebih komprehensif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah Systematic Literature Review, Dari total 220 referensi yang diimpor untuk proses penyaringan, dilakukan seleksi kelayakan, serta penerapan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, sehingga diperoleh enam artikel yang dianalisis dalam pembahasan hasil penelitian. Temuan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Pendidikan Jasmani berperan sebagai instrumen pengembangan holistik, di mana filsafat Pendidikan Jasmani menjadi dasar yang kuat dalam perancangan kurikulum yang lebih relevan, inklusif, dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan peserta didik. Selain itu, filsafat Pendidikan Jasmani juga telah mendorong lahirnya berbagai cabang ilmu baru, seperti ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi dalam olahraga. Masing-masing cabang tersebut memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam memahami berbagai aspek olahraga, termasuk analisis kinerja atlet hingga kajian mengenai nilai-nilai etika dalam praktik olahraga.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of using the Baamboozle learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IV students at SD Negeri Ciporos 07, specifically on the topic of line relationships. The research employed a quantitative method with a Pre-Experimental design using the One Group Pretest-Posttest design on 18 students who were selected purposively. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments, observations, and supporting documentation. The instrument was tested for validity and reliability, while the data analysis technique utilized Nonparametric Statistics. Based on the normality test, the data were not normally distributed; therefore, hypothesis testing employed the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The findings show an increase in the students’ average score from 40.20 on the pretest to 67.32 on the posttest after two treatment sessions. Student activity also improved from 76.6% to 86.6%. The Wilcoxon significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 confirms that Baamboozle has a measurable effect. In conclusion, Baamboozle is proven to enhance mathematics learning outcomes and student engagement during the learning process.
