Abstract

Tofu is made from soybean juice, which is coagulated by adding calcium sulfate or magnesium chloride. The remaining soybean juice produces waste in the form of tofu dregs, which can cause an unpleasant odor if not treated immediately. This program aims to utilize the remaining processed tofu factories, namely soybean dregs, into a useful product and increase sales value. Clean and fresh tofu dregs are seasoned, then dried by roasting and dehydrated with a food dehydrator. Shredded tofu dregs produced using this process have a yield of 22.09+0.79% and a water content of 3.50+ 1.72%. The final product is then packaged in a plastic bottle with large holes, finished with an aluminum seal on the end of bottle and a plastic seal on the outside. The program resulting in the modification in processing of tofu dregs into a nutritional and halal abon which can be stored for a long time. This innovation is hopefully to increase the benefits and selling value of tofu dregs, which are usually thrown away, thereby increasing the income.

Abstract

This study examines the strategic role of Islamic economics in supporting the achievement of the Golden Indonesia Vision 2045, which targets inclusive economic growth, poverty alleviation, global competitiveness, and sustainable development. Through the principles of social justice, equitable distribution of wealth, and wise management of natural resources, Islamic economics offers solutions that are in line with these goals. This study uses a mixed methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to explore the public and stakeholders' understanding of Islamic economics and the challenges and opportunities in its development. The results show that although the majority of respondents have a good understanding of Islamic economics, there are still barriers to the use of Islamic financial products, including a lack of understanding and access. In addition, interviews with entrepreneurs, academics, and policymakers reveal the importance of Islamic financial literacy as a key to expanding community participation. The study concludes that Islamic economics has great potential to drive equitable, inclusive, and sustainable growth, but supportive policies and broader education are needed to maximize its contribution to the Golden Indonesia                                                                 Vision 2045.

Abstract

The worldwide halal industry has seen quick development within the 21st Century, went with by developing complexities driven by the globalization of supply chains, troublesome mechanical developments such as hereditary building, cell-based meat, and nanotechnology, as well as the expansion of halal items into non-food divisions such as beauty care products, pharmaceuticals, and advanced fund. These complexities demand legitimate Islamic direction that's both significant and versatile. This report analyzes the part of Usul al-Fiqh, the foundational strategy of Islamic law, that tends to modern challenges in halal item advancement. Utilizing a basic and efficient writing survey of legitimate scholarly sources and investigations of fatwas issued by driving Islamic education, this report analyzes how standards of Usul al-Fiqh—including Qiyas, Istihsan, Maslahah Mursalah, Istishab, Sadd al-Dhara'i', and 'Urf, guided by Maqasid al-Shariah—are connected to address developing issues. The key discoveries highlight the versatility of the Usul al-Fiqh system in standing up to present-day challenges while uncovering noteworthy impediments such as the harmonization of worldwide measures, confirmation over complex supply chains, and the need for integration with cutting-edge logical information. The part of advances such as DNA analysis and blockchain as confirmation devices is also investigated. Contrasts of supposition (ikhtilaf) among modern researchers are analyzed as a reflection of the energetic nature of ijtihad. The report concludes that Usul al-Fiqh remains a pertinent methodological and moral system inside present-day halal talk, although it requires persistent improvement and integration to react successfully to future challenges.

Abstract

Natural antioxidants have been developed in various formulations as alternatives to reduce the side effects associated with synthetic antioxidants. α-Mangostin exhibits strong antioxidant properties, although its behavior in combination with other herbal compounds remains unclear. The aim of this study was to formulate a combination of α-M, piperine, and curcumin into an oral patch and to evaluate the antioxidant properties of α-M when combined with piperine and curcumin, both known natural antioxidants. The oral patches were prepared by incorporating the active compounds (α-mangostin, piperine, and curcumin) into a matrix of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), gelatin, and chitosan. Glycerin was added as a plasticizer. Organoleptic assessment, along with evaluations of pH, weight, folding endurance, and moisture absorption capacity, confirmed the successful formulation of α-mangostin (MP), piperine (PP), curcumin (CP), and combination (MPCP) patches as oral delivery systems. All patches maintained a pH above 5.5. The thicknesses of MP, PP, CP, and MPCP were measured at 0.14 ± 0.02 mm, 0.17 ± 0.01 mm, 0.15 ± 0.02 mm, 0.11 ± 0.01 mm, and 0.16 ± 0.02 mm, respectively. The combination of these natural compounds enhanced folding endurance compared to the individual curcumin and piperine patches, while slightly reducing antioxidant activity. The co-formulation of α-mangostin, piperine, and curcumin into a single oral patch demonstrated a modest decline in antioxidant capacity. This study aimed to assess the impact of combining multiple antioxidant-rich natural compounds within a single delivery system.
