Abstract

Pada umumnya pemasangan panel surya berada di bagian paling atas (rooftop) dari sebuah bangunan atau gedung, yang permukaannya datar dan tidak ditutupi oleh langit-langit, sehingga pancaran sinar matahari tidak terhalangi. Dikawasan perkotaan khususnya di Kalimantan Barat, sebagian besar ruangnya dipenuhi dengan bangunan-bangunan besar, sehingga memiliki potensi untuk pengembangan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS). Desain pembangkit tenaga surya ini menggunakan empat bagian utama, bagian pertama yaitu solar panel Monocrystalline 110 wp untuk sumber utama dari energi matahari menjadi tegangan awal DC, bagian kedua yaitu charger controller sebagai pengatur arus dari panel pada battery atau penyimpanan daya dan ke beban yang dihasilkan dari solar panel tersebut, bagian ketiga yaitu inverter salah satu pengubah tegangan DC ke AC, serta bagian ke keempat yaitu beban untuk penerangan (lampu LED). Dari pengujian pada skripsi ini, penggunaan panel surya belum cukup efisien dan menghasilkan daya rata-rata pada cuaca cerah sebesar 75,03 Watt, sedangkan pada cuaca berawan sebesar 46,3 Watt. Dari segi ekonomis untuk menggantikan PLN.

Abstract

Bahan bakar konvensional seperti minyak tanah dan gas yang terus meningkat harganya akan menyebabkan banyak penduduk mengalami kesulitan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi keluarga mereka sehari hari karena keterbatasan ekonomi. Pemanfaatan limbah biomasa sebagai sumber bahan bakar disebabkan karena limbah tersebut mempunyai kandungan energi yang cukup signifikan. Keuntungan dari Kompor biomassa ini adalah menggunakan bahan bakar tempurung kelapa, sehingga dapat mengurangi limbah tempurung kelapa yang banyak tidak dimanfaatkan. Selain itu, kinerja alat kompor biomassa sudah cukup baik dibanding kompor konvensional. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisa menggunakan Ansya software untuk mengetahui laju aliran massa yang terjadi pada kompor biomassa. Dari spesifikasi kompor biomassa dimana D = 40 cm, T = 50 cm, diperoleh volume V = 62,4m3, dan energi yang diperoleh dari analisa Ansys adalah 34 KJ.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang terdampak modernisasi yang dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan globalisasi yang pesat, Salah satunya adalah di bidang industri manufaktur. (isgbinus, 2019). Arduino Mega 2560 adalah papan microcontroller berbasiskan Atmega 2560. Arduino Mega 2560 ini memiliki 54 pin digital input / output, dimana 15 pin dapat digunakan sebagai output PWM, 16 pin sebagai input analog, dan 4 pin sebagai UART (port serial hardware), 16 MHz kristal osilator, koneksi USB, jack power, header ICSP, dan tombol reset. Ini semua yang diperlukan untuk mendukung microcontroller. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa Penelitian Lapangan (Field Reseach), Penelitian perpustakaan (Library Research), Penelitian Labor (Laboratory Research). Sistem control yang digunakan pada mesin CNC Milling adalah Arduino Mega 2560 sebagai pengatur dan kontroler dari keseluruhan perangkat sistem mesin CNC. Perangkat lunak pun dibutuhkan sebagai pendukung dalam sistem control CNC ini dimana sebuah software bernama Universal Code Sender (UGS) sebagai penghubung antara system control dengan mesin CNC.

Abstract

Corn cobs are a cultural problem in the NTB region because they are very influential at post-harvest harvesting. Poor handling of post-harvest corn cobs is a very serious problem in the area. Where corn cobs are only used by the community in general, making corn cobs as a mosquito repellent, by burning corn cobs. Corn cobs are corn residues resulting from shelling seeds which contain potential compounds that can be biologically transformed into other compounds, namely lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose. For example, making corn cobs chopper as a tool in handling post-harvest results. The purpose of this plan is to produce an efficient corn cob chopping machine so that it is useful for the community in NTB. The results of observations from the previous tool and processing data will be used to make the design size of the corncob chopper according to the real conditions of the previous tool. The results of the calculation of the transmission system of the corn cob chopper showed that the rotation of the electric motor was 1 HP = 1400 rpm, the shaft diameter was 20 mm, the seat belt used type A with a length of 828.4 mm. The materials used in this corncob chopping knife are as follows: knife = stainless steel material, bearing = cast iron, vant belt = rubber, pulley = aluminum, shaft = S35C-D. From the results of testing the corn cob chopper, 2 kg was obtained in 5 minutes.

Abstract

A dump truck is a medium to long distance carrier where the material carried is loaded by excavators, wheel loaders or shovels. A dump truck is very suitable to be operated in a mining area because of its large load capacity making it very productive. To support dump truck operations, regular maintenance is needed such as general over haul. After completing the general over haul, the next job is the process of bleeding air on the brake system. For bleeding air work in dump truck units, especially HD465-7R, using existing tools is considered ineffective and unsafe so that it can cause problems, namely the release of oil in the form of bursts that can affect the face, especially the eyes and the presence of oil spills that can damage the environment resulting in inefficiency in completion of work. Therefore, it is necessary to make new tools with the aim that the problem can be resolved. The method used is seven up ++ innovation. The results show that the tools made for the process of bleeding air are effective and safe to use so that the oil that comes out is no longer on the face and there are no oil spills that can damage the environment and the completion of work to be efficient.

Abstract

Three-dimensional (3D) imaging technology for computer-assisted construction planning of a product through a simulation process is now having a very positive impact in helping to improve the construction results of a product. The honeycomb shape has better strength in accepting constant and stable loads and has a lighter structure. Aluminum honeycomb using the sandwich construction method was analyzed by simulation using Ansys software in this research based on 3 variations in hexagonal cell geometry due to differences in the applied static load. The influence of the hexagonal honeycomb cell geometry shows a contribution to the deformation capability of the material at varying load angles, namely an increase of 100% at a load angle of 60° and a higher spike of around 130% for a load angle of 90°. Variations in the hexagonal honeycomb geometry still have an impact on increasing material capability. of 128% in the 6 mm hexagonal cell model with a load angle of 90°. The geometric intensity of the honeycomb hexagonal cell produces expansion values respectively in material deformation and equivalent stress based on the load angle of 15% and 35%.

Abstract

ASTM A-36 material is widely used in the industrial world. ASTM A-36 steel plates are selected for mechanical property and microstructure testing by applying heat, specifically welding. This study employs the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) method with varying current strengths of 90 A, 100 A, and 110 A. The aim of these tests is to identify defects, mechanical properties, and microstructure appearance resulting from welding ASTM A-36 steel for boiler applications in palm oil mills. The tests conducted showed that the highest average tensile strength was achieved with SMAW welding at 90 A, reaching 535.29 MPa, while the lowest was at 110 A, with 428.12 MPa. The highest average hardness test value was recorded for SMAW welding at 90 A, with a hardness value of 257.3 VHN in the Base Metal area, whereas the lowest was observed in welding with 100 A current strength, measuring 193.1 VHN in the Weld Area. Visual inspection of surface welding defects using the Penetrant Test method revealed the least number of defects in SMAW welding with 90 A and 100 A currents, consisting of two types of welding defects (Hot Cracks and porosity). Based on microstructure observation, the best visual appearance was observed in SMAW welding with 100 A current strength, attributed to its denser microstructure.

Abstract

This training for empowerment of plantation sector cooperatives in the financial sector aims to increase the knowledge and ability of the cooperative owners or cooperative management in preparing simple financial reports for cooperatives. The government provides financial assistance in the form of a community palm oil rejuvenation program (PSR) with the aim that the community can rejuvenate old or damaged oil palm land into land that can produce high quality palm oil. This is because Labuhanbatu Regency is one of the producers of palm oil and oil palm plantations are also a major factor in supporting the economy of Labuhanbatu Regency. Fund assistance in the form of the community palm oil rejuvenation program (PSR) provided is Rp. 30 million per hectare of oil palm. The funds are given to cooperatives engaged in the plantation sector. The training provided is in the form of training in making simple financial reports for cooperatives. Starting from understanding transaction analysis, accounting terminology, accounting cycles, debit and credit rules, Chart of Accounts (COA), and finally preparing financial statements. Owners or management of cooperatives are very enthusiastic in participating in the training because there are some who just know about the basics of accounting science.
