Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of increasing the development of children's expressive language through role playing activities for kids traditional market at TK Aisyiyah 57 Surabaya. This research method uses classroom action research. Data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation. Observations were made at TK Aisyiyah 57 Surabaya to obtain data on the development of children's expressive language, documentationin the form of photos of children's activities during learning. The results showed that the development of children's expressive language in children's traditional market role-play activities at TK Aisyiyah 57 can improve children's expressive language, which is included in spoken language where facial expressions, intonation, and body movements can be mixed to support communication. The results obtained from research based on pre-cycle observation data obtained an average learning mastery of 35% or as many as 20 children. In cycle I, children's understanding increased by reaching an average of 65% or as many as 20 children. In cycle II it increased by 75% or as many as 20 children. So it can be concluded that the use of the role playing method with the theme Kids Traditional Market can improve the language development of group B children at Kindergarten Aisyiyah 57 Surabaya. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the results of observations made that the existing learning methods are still lacking or have not found the right methods and media for children's reading literacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in early childhood reading literacy with the syllabic method in group B Tk Riverside Surabaya. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research with data collection techniques through observation. The research subjects were teachers and students in group B Kindergarten Riverside with a total of 19 consisting of 9 girls and 10 boys. Data collection techniques through observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique was carried out by grouping the child's activity data. The results of the research in cycle I showed that there were still 2 children who were lacking in reading literacy and 13 children who were sufficient in reading literacy. The results of the study in cycle II showed that many children were in the very good and good category as expected. Based on data analysis, it is known that there has been an increase in early childhood reading literacy skills through the syllabic method from cycle I and cycle II. Abstract

Sorting patterns according to Polonsky and Dorothy is the ability to sort a set of objects that are interconnected with one another. Relationships that occur can be based on the order of color, shape, and size. According to researchers, the skill of sorting patterns can improve children's cognitive skills from an early age. According to the researcher, the number of children in group A whose abilities are still underdeveloped in sequencing activities according to the researcher needs to improve their skills using loose parts. This type of research is Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. The subjects of this study were 10 boys and 10 girls in group A at Al Iman Kindergarten. The results of this study can be concluded that the skills of sorting patterns using loose part media or objects around the child have shown an increase, from cycle 1 to cycle 2. According to the researcher, cycle 2 was considered successful because it had completed undeveloped children. children who develop according to expectations in the order of living patterns of 15% of the entire population and increase the very well developed category to 85%. Abstract

ABSCTRACT Angelia Theresia, 05119007. Use of educational game tools with a Montessori approach to Improve Fine Motor Skills in Children Aged 3-4 Years at PPT Dahlia I Surabaya This study is to find out how efforts are being made to improve children's fine motor skills through APE with the Montessori approach. Based on the reality at PPT DAHLIA I Surabaya's children still encounter obstacles in their fine motor skills. Children are more happy with games in general than games that require calm and motoric skills. Out of 15 children, only 6 children who can beading well. The research was carried out using a classroom action research model. The research subjects were the 3-4 year old age group with the analysis techniques used were average values, percentages and graphs. In order to obtain valid results, it is carried out using research techniques through two cycles of cycle steps, and each cycle consists of four stages, namely Planning, Implementation, Observation and Reflection. Based on the results of the study it turned out that activities to improve children's fine motor skills through APE activities with the Montessori approach at PPT DAHLIA I Surabaya seemed to increase in the very well developed category. This can be seen from the final results of the implementation of cycle I with a percentage of 40%. Then in cycle II, the percentage of successful children was 82%. With these improvements, children have the opportunity to develop their fine motor skills through APE activities with a Montessori approach.
