Abstract

Abstract

Islam was revealed by Allah SWT to regulate all forms of human behavior in relation to other humans to meet the needs of their lives in the world. This includes principles that govern economic turnover. In this case, one of the Islamic intellectuals, Ibn Taymiyah, has an interest in conceptualizing the economy through the Islamic religious approach. As for this study, using descriptive qualitative research, the researcher directly researched the books of Ibn Taimiyah and several other supporting literature. In this study, the researcher found that there are several concepts about Islamic economics, namely fair prices, and price regulations that have several clear divisions in accordance with the concept of Islamic economics according to Ibn Taymiyah

Abstract

This study examines the socio-religious dimensions of faith-based digital startups in Indonesia by analyzing NUJEK, a transportation platform affiliated with Nahdlatul Ulama. The emergence of such platforms reflects the integration of Islamic values into digital economic practices, particularly in fostering Muslim community empowerment. This research aims to explore how NUJEK operationalizes Islamic economic principles and contributes to socio-religious cohesion within the Nahdliyin community. This study employs a qualitative approach combining a systematic literature review and semi-structured interviews with NUJEK users and driver-partners. The analysis is guided by Islamic economic frameworks, including maqashid al-shariah, ta’awun, and maslahah, as well as socio-religious perspectives on community-based economic practices. The findings reveal that NUJEK functions not only as a digital service provider but also as a medium of Islamic social enterprise that strengthens community solidarity and economic inclusion. The integration of religious values enhances trust, encourages mutual cooperation, and supports the empowerment of local Muslim communities. The findings reveal that NUJEK functions not only as a digital service provider but also as a medium of Islamic social enterprise that strengthens community solidarity and economic inclusion. The integration of religious values enhances trust, encourages mutual cooperation, and supports the empowerment of local Muslim communities. This study contributes to the discourse on Islamic digital economy by highlighting the role of faith-based startups as instruments of socio-religious transformation and community empowerment.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of an interlock system on the Hot Saw machine at the Section Mill area of PT. Krakatau Baja Konstruksi as an effort to improve operational safety and efficiency during the hot steel cutting process. The Hot Saw operates under extreme conditions of high temperature and speed, thus requiring a reliable safety mechanism to prevent workplace accidents and equipment damage. The research employed a descriptive-analytical method, which included literature review, field observation, system description, and descriptive analysis. Data were obtained through direct observation of the Hot Saw operation and its interlock components, such as limit sensors, safety switches, a control system based on Siemens S7-1500 PLC, and standard operational procedures. The findings indicate that the implemented interlock system ensures the machine operates only when all safety conditions are fulfilled and automatically stops the process if anomalies or system failures are detected. The integration of the alarm failure main drive saw feature also enhances operator responsiveness in identifying and addressing system malfunctions. Overall, the interlock system significantly contributes to improving work safety, machine reliability, and production continuity in the steel industry environment.
