. This study aims to determine the effect of using number train media on the early numeracy skills of children aged 5–6 years at the Pilarin Kindergarten (TKK). The sample in this study was 23 children in Group B. This study used an experimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data analysis techniques in this study consisted of prerequisite tests and hypothesis tests. The prerequisite tests conducted were normality tests and homogeneity tests. The hypothesis test used was a Paired Sample t-test. The data from this study were analyzed using SPSS Version 27. The results of this study indicate that the use of number train media in the learning process can improve early numeracy skills in early childhood. This is supported by the results of the Paired Sample t-test hypothesis test, which obtained an Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) value of <0.001, less than 0.05. Therefore, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This indicates that the use of number train media on the early numeracy skills of children aged 5–6 years at the Pilarin Kindergarten. Keywords: Media, number train, early numeracy, early childhood, TKK Pilarin Kupang

The data were analyzed through prerequisite testing using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test and hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample t-Test with the assistance of SPSS version 27. The results showed that the average score of children's letter recognition ability increased from 71.64 in the pretest to 80.42 in the posttest. The results of the Paired Sample t-Test indicated a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that Ha was accepted and H₀ was rejected. Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning concentration of children aged 4–5 years at TK St. Yoseph Naikoten II Kupang, as indicated by several children who had difficulty maintaining attention during learning activities. The study aimed to describe teachers' classroom management skills in improving children's learning concentration. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The participants consisted of two Class A1 teachers and seven children aged 4–5 years. Data were collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through technique triangulation, while data were analyzed through data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings showed that teachers demonstrated good classroom management skills through physical classroom management, time management, interaction management, behavior management, and the creation of a positive emotional atmosphere. These practices supported children's learning concentration, which was reflected in their ability to pay attention to learning materials, respond to teachers' instructions, apply acquired knowledge, express ideas or opinions, demonstrate interest in learning activities, and remain engaged throughout the learning process. The study concludes that teachers' classroom management skills play an important role in improving the learning concentration of children aged 4–5 years by creating a conducive learning environment.
