Abstract

Tenaya Raya district Pekanbaru Indonesia was the second higher rank area of covid-19 spread in Pekanbaru city. We did a Community empowerment program: SPP (Socialization, Prevention, and Data Collection) in Tenayan Raya District. The program's implementation was done for 14 working days, started from June 15 to 30, 2020. The socialization activity aimed to understand the importance of Covid-19 prevention through media such as; brochures and banners in Tenan Raya district. Moreover, the socialization activity also was done by counseling for markets and daily merchants. Then, prevention activities were like disinfectant spraying, masker distribution, hand washing facilities for comfortable and safe activities. In addition, the data collection activity about community medical history was used for policy-making related to Covid-19 prevention. The method that was used in this research was counseling and speech or gave information about Covid-19 to the community. The result was the socialization program, and Covid-19 prevention was done well, which can be perceived as improving the community understanding about Covid-19. It can be seen by community awareness in using masker, washing hand in a public place, for example; market place and disinfectant spraying in worship place twice or three times a week.

Abstract

Elderly people are those who have reached the age of 60 years or more who need activities to avoid experiencing dementia, the elderly have socio-psychological problems related to stress, loneliness and mental problems. So the PKM-PM team at Slamet Riyadi University, Surakarta, provided an activity to make the elderly productive through skills activities at the Widhi Asih Nursing Home, Surakarta. The methods applied in this activity include: (1) providing information related to the skills activities carried out (2) preparing the main materials and skills framework, (3) making craft skills from plastic spoons, used cardboard and flannel, (4) process final completion of skills and monitoring with the elderly. The result of the service is that seniors are able to participate in craft skills activities from start to finish with enthusiasm. Skills activities can fill the elderly's free time thereby suppressing dementia. Activities can be developed with creativity, new skills according to the abilities and desires of the elderly. This service has achieved the expected results and the sustainability of this program continues to be carried out through monitoring pattern.

Abstract

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a global and national agreement that aims to improve the welfare of society. One of the goals of the SDGs is a Healthy and Prosperous Life. In order to support the acceleration of the achievement of the SDGs, YARSI University organizes Real Work Lecture (KKN) activities with the theme "Cure The Earth". This activity aims to increase understanding in early childhood, especially elementary school students about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness and good waste management. The Community Development Practice method is used in this activity. The activity begins with the preparation stage which is carried out through observation to find out and identify the problems faced by partners. Second, the preparation of the work program, which was carried out based on the results of the analysis of the observation of the problems faced by partners and third, the implementation of counseling in the form of socialization of understanding of waste and its solutions. A total of 66 students in grade 5 and grade 6 of Cilincing 02 Pagi Elementary School, North Jakarta were involved in this activity. Before the activity was carried out, a pre-test was carried out to determine the level of students' knowledge of the material to be delivered and a post-test after the counseling activity was carried out which aimed to evaluate the end of the material taught. This activity went well because based on the results of the post test, there was an increase in understanding which was around 93.7% compared to before counseling which was only 49.3%.

Abstract

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) merupakan kesepakatan global yang bertujuan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Salah satu tujuannya adalah tercitanya Kehidupan Sehat dan Sejahtera. Dalam rangka mendukung percepatan pencapaian SDGs tersebut, Universitas YARSI menyelenggarakan kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) dengan tema “Cure The Earth”. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman khususnya siswa sekolah dasar tentang pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dan pengelolaan sampah yang baik. Metode Community Development Practice yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini. Kegiatan diawali dengan tahap persiapan yang dilakukan melaui observasi untuk mengindentifikasi mengenai permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra. Kedua penyusunan program kerja, untuk memecahkan permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra dan ketiga penyelenggaraan penyuluhan dalam bentuk sosialisasi pemahaman tentang sampah. 66 siswa terlibat dalam kegiatan ini. Dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan pre-test dan post test. Hasil post test menunjukkan bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan pemahaman yaitu sekitar 93,7% dibandingkan sebelum penyuluhan yaitu sebesar 49,3%. Langkah selanjutnya adalah dilakukan komunikasi dengan pihak sekolah untuk mengetahaui reaksi siswa ketika menemukan sampah disekitar sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality control of shirt production in CV. Sumatra Agung Makmur. This study uses case studies using descriptive analysis, and data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analyzed from April 2021 to April 2024, the data includes 15,831 production data and 1,362 production defect data. The data was processed using Microsoft Excel and Minitab21 software. The data analysis technique uses Statistical Quality Control (SQC) with 7 tools. The results of the calculations on P, CL, UCL and LCl, show that in the 2nd month the data passed the control limit. Proportion in the 2nd month is 0.121291449, CL is 0.086033731, UCL is 0.11088384, and LCL is 0.061183616. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that there was a need to improve the quality of the shirt production process at CV. Sumatra Agung Makmur.

Abstract

Background: Feed is a determining factor in the success of fish farming, but in some cases, fish feed on the market contains chemicals such as pesticides, heavy metals, and synthetic chemicals. Organic, safer, and readily available materials combine plant-based and animal ingredients such as cricket (Acheta domesticus) and coconut pulp. Cricket has a high nutritive value, especially protein content, and coconut pulp was potentially high in carbohydrate content. The study aims to determine the carbohydrate and protein content and the color, aroma, and density assessment of the combination of fermented coconut pulp flour and cricket flour. Methods: The design pattern was a 1-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) pattern with two repetitions of 3 treatments (A1, A2, and A3) of fermented coconut pulp flour and cricket flour. Feed is subjected to tests on carbohydrate and protein proximate levels and sensory assessments of its color, aroma, and texture. Results: The average carbohydrate content in formulas A1, A2, and A3 is 30.51%, 26.04%, and 28.45%, while the protein content is 10.64%, 20.88%, and 16.86%. ANOVA test results on color, aroma, and overall texture show significant differences in each fish feed formula. Conclusions: The highest level of sensory preference for color, aroma, and texture was observed in the combination of formula A2. Formula A1 is suitable for herbivorous fish, formula A2 for carnivorous fish, and formula A3 for omnivorous fish.

Abstract

Aging is a natural process for people aged 60 years and above. Physical and mental decline is the process of aging. Therefore, the PKM-PM team of Slamet Riyadi University Surakarta conducted guided activities through physical gymnastics and brain exercises. The purpose of this service is to help increase the productivity of the elderly through active ageing at Widhi Asih Surakarta Nursing Home. The problem-solving approach in the PKM program is training and guidance on active ageing, especially physical gymnastics and brain exercises. After this empowerment event, it is hoped that the elderly at Panti Wreda Widhi Asih Surakarta can be empowered to age actively and become creative, healthy and happy elderly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the requirements for blended learning based PBL learning materials to enhance students' critical thinking skills when solving physics learning challenges, particularly those about rotational dynamics and equilibrium. This research was survey research as a first step in developing blended learning media based on PBL. The subjects used in this study were junior high school students with a total sample of 105 students and five physics teachers in Pekanbaru and Kampar Regency. The research instrument used in this research was a closed questionnaire developed based on indicators of critical thinking skills and the distribution of critical thinking ability tests. The questionnaire response scores were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive analysis method. The research results showed that learning media was needed to support online and offline learning. The learning media must contain learning materials, videos, and student activities to increase learning effectiveness and train students' critical thinking skills. Therefore, it is necessary to develop PBL-based blended learning media to improve the critical thinking skills of students and teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode menulis cagoactev terhadap penurunan tingkat stres dan peningkatan regulasi diri sebagai upaya pencegahan menderita munchausen syn-drome pada anak korban perceraian. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 orang dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan one group pretest posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 30 mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik yang orang tuanya telag bercerai. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala regulasi diri dan depression anxiety stress scale. Teknik Analisa data menggunaka uji paired sample t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek yang menulis menggunakan cagoactev mengalami peningkatan regulasi diri dengan t = -7.767 dan p = 0.000 dan penurunan tingkat stress dengan t = 6.085 dan sig = 0.000 pada anak korban perceraian

Abstract

Adsorption of Rhodamine B on Citrus sinesis peel biosorbent has been conducted. The adsorption process was carried out in neutral pH for 90 min. The active surface of the Citrus sinesis peel biosorbent was 15 m2/g and the density was 0.52 g/cm3. The adsorption mechanism of Rhodamine B on Citrus sinesis peel biosorbent was studied using 4 adsorption model; Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, and Dubinin-Radushkevich. The adsorption fitted the Freundlich model with the regression value of 0.906. This indicates that the adsorption of Rhodamine B on the surface of Citrus sinesis peel biosorbent was a multilayer interaction.
