Abstract

Arabic language learning management strategy will be explained in this study. The purpose of this study is to examine and discuss the actual concept of Arabic language learning strategy. The aspects that will be described are as follows: 1) definition of Arabic language learning strategy, 2) function of Arabic language learning strategy, 3) types of strategies in Arabic language learning, 4) learning scope, 5) learning management. This study was designed by applying a descriptive qualitative study approach. Data were obtained from books on the concept of Arabic language learning strategy. The data were analyzed by observing the library by searching and collecting books or references related to this discussion. Based on the results, 1) Arabic language learning strategy are rules, plans and steps in the process of learning activities to realize the goals of Arabic language learning, 2) Arabic language learning strategy functions to prepare material and assist students in mastering the language, 3) Arabic learning scope includes: understanding, goals and principles of Arabic language learning, 4) learning management related to readiness in learning.

Abstract

Background: In recent years, the shift from teacher-centered to student-centered learning has emphasized the need for innovative teaching models that actively involve students in the learning process. One such model is discovery learning, which encourages students to explore, investigate, and construct their own understanding. Objective: This study aims to determine the improvement in student learning achievement following the implementation of the discovery learning model in Islamic religious education and character education subjects. Method: The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach and was conducted at SDN 05 Selagan Raya in 2023. Data collection techniques included observation and tests, and data analysis was based on the students’ learning mastery scores. The study followed four implementation stages: (1) planning, (2) acting, (3) observing, and (4) reflecting. Result: The findings showed that the use of the discovery learning model improved learning efficiency and student achievement. Students were more actively engaged in the learning process, which led to better understanding and retention of the material. Conclusion: The application of the discovery learning method is effective in enhancing learning outcomes and student motivation. It provides opportunities for students to be directly involved in problem-solving and to discover new concepts, making the learning process more meaningful. Contribution: This study offers practical insights for educators by highlighting the discovery learning model as an effective instructional strategy. It not only improves student achievement but also promotes active learning and motivation, benefiting both students and teachers in the learning process.

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi yang terus maju, saat ini komputer dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu elemen alat bantu belajar yang efisien dan efektif Prestasi dalam pendidikan bisa dilihat melalui kemajuan pencapaian akademis peserta didik. Salah satu faktor yang turut memengaruhi tingkat minat peserta didik dalam belajar adalah jenis media yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru saat ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan untuk memilih media pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar peserta didik serta mencapai hasil belajar yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh media audio visual terhadap minat belajar peserta didik kelas V pada pembelajaran ips di sekolah dasar. Pendekatan studi literatur digunakan sebagai metode penelitian, dengan mengacu pada beberapa jurnal terkait yang membahas tentang pengaruh media audio visual terhadap minat belajar peserta didik kelas V di sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar memiliki efek positif terhadap kerangka berpikir pembelajaran IPS, yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, pencapaian akademik, serta literasi digital siswa.

Abstract

Padang Serai Community Health Center data for 2023 shows that there are 56 residents suffering from diabetes mellitus (DM) and 20 residents classified as prediabetic based on the results of monthly fasting blood sugar checks. Based on these problems, community service (PKM) was carried out in the form of a Healthy Living Assistance Program with the aim of providing motivation to residents to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Program activities are divided into three stages, namely: program socialization including how to fill out a healthy living logbook, education via WhatsApp groups, and evaluation. Before and after participating in the program, residents' health parameters were measured. Residents' implementation of a healthy lifestyle is evaluated based on logbook recording. The program activities, which lasted for 3 weeks, were attended by residents, most of whom were mothers with a body mass index classified as obese. The PKM results showed that after implementing a healthy lifestyle there was an improvement in health parameters, namely a decrease in fasting blood sugar levels, total cholesterol, blood pressure and body weight. It can be concluded that the Healthy Living Assistance Program has succeeded in encouraging residents to live healthily in preventing and controlling DM
