Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the specialness of Arabic as the language of the Qur'an. The author presents a deeper understanding that Arabic is not just the language of the Qur'an but has many special features if someone can study it again so that they can feel the reason why Allah SWT revealed the Qur'an using Arabic. This study uses a qualitative research method to be able to describe research based on information about a problem being discussed, then the author compares it with social reality. Data collection used in this study is a library study method and examines more deeply and analyzes articles and books that are relevant and related to the discussion material. The results of the study show that Arabic is a language that is widely used among Muslims because of its specialness as the language of the Qur'an. This study provides information on how important the Qur'an is in learning Arabic and vice versa. Because the Qur'an is the main benchmark in making Arabic the center of study among Muslims.

Abstract

Penelitian   ini   bertujuan   untuk  mengungkap   probelmatika probelmatika yang dihadapi mahasiswa sebagai penerjemah pemula. Bagi orang Indonesia, bahasa Arab adalah merupakan bahasa kedua, sehingga tidak semua orang Indonesia memahami dan menguasai bahasa Arab. Oleh karena itu sekiranya sangatlah diperlukan terjemahan dari Arab-Indonesia guna dijadikan wadah bagi orang yang tidak memahami dan menguasai bahasa Arab. Artinya diperlukan orang yang bisa menerjemahkan teks berbahasa Arab ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Dalam proses dan langkah menerjemahkan tersebut pastilah ditemukan berbagai macam kendala dan problem. Ini adalah hal yang wajar terjadi pada mahasiswa dan penerjemah pemula karena perbedaan karakteristik antara bahasa sumber dan bahasa sasaran. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan penelitian, penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester III Prodi Pendidikan  Bahasa  Arab UIN Alauddin Makassar  yang  mengikuti  mata  kuliah  Tarjamah. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa problematika penerjemahan teks bahasa Arab pada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab di UIN Alauddin Makassar dipengaruhi oleh dua  aspek, yaitu aspek linguistik dan non linguistik.

Abstract

Language is a means of communication in everyday life between individuals and society. Without language, a person would be unable to convey the meaning of feelings or thoughts. The research method used is a qualitative research method, namely by reviewing existing research or literature research. Many students have a desire to master the language to be able to communicate and understand religious texts, most of which are written in Arabic. However, most of them are not interested in Arabic subjects due to difficulties in pronunciation, reading, and writing. Understanding language expressions and grammatical issues (al-Nahwu and Al-Sharf) is another challenge that students cannot overcome in a short time and is boring. What are the best methods and strategies for students to be able to learn the language in a fun, exciting, and enthusiastic atmosphere? These questions show both the reality and challenges, especially for Arabic teachers and lecturers, that there is a need to change conventional Arabic language teaching and, at the same time, find new strategies and concrete actions to answer the above questions. This journal offers a new teaching concept that focuses not only on teaching but also on entertaining. This research shows that using this approach can improve motivation and language skills, create a more engaging learning experience, and support learning outcomes. This can help shape a generation of young people with a solid and creative understanding of Arabic.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Arabic literacy on the understanding of hadith among the Chinese Muslim community in Makassar. Using a quantitative correlational approach, this study involved 212 respondents selected through a simple random sampling technique from the population of members of the Indonesian Chinese Islamic Association (PITI) Makassar. The research instruments were a validated Arabic literacy test and a hadith comprehension test. The results of a simple linear regression analysis indicate a positive and significant influence of Arabic literacy on hadith comprehension with a strong coefficient of determination (R2). This finding confirms that mastery of Arabic linguistic aspects is a determinant factor for the Chinese Muslim community in minimizing misinterpretation of religious texts and deepening contextual understanding of hadith.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using digital applications in improving the mastery of contextual Arabic vocabulary from the Qur'an at the An-Nuriyah Islamic Boarding School (Bontocini), Jeneponto Regency. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The study population includes all students at various levels, with a stratified random sampling technique to obtain representative samples from each level. The research instruments are vocabulary mastery tests and student response questionnaires. The results of the study are expected to provide an overview of the extent to which the integration of digital technology can optimize the understanding of contextual Al-Qur'an vocabulary in the Islamic boarding school environment.

Abstract

This quantitative research aims to empirically test the influence of Qira'ah Tafsir learning on the development of students' spiritual character in Islamic schools. The main focus of this study is the extent to which the intensity and quality of understanding of tafsir texts contribute to the formation of students' spiritual dimensions. The research method used was a correlational survey with a simple linear regression approach. The study population included all students at the secondary level of Islamic schools, with random sampling used to ensure objective data representation. The research instrument consisted of a validated Likert-scale questionnaire to measure learning variables and spiritual character. The results of statistical data analysis indicate a positive and significant influence of Qira'ah Tafsir learning on strengthening students' spiritual character. This finding indicates that the better the quality of the tafsir learning process in the classroom, the stronger the spiritual integrity demonstrated by students in their daily behavior. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of strengthening tafsir learning methodologies that are oriented towards the internalization of transcendental values. It is recommended that educators integrate affective-spiritual aspects into every teaching session to produce graduates who possess a balance between intellectual intelligence and personal piety.
