Abstract

An information retrieval system is a system capable of storing, searching, and maintaining various types of information in various formats. The function this information retrieval system is then applied to the existing retrieval services in library. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of network collaboration carried ot by the library as an optimization of teh information retrieval services provided. The research method uses a quaitative method with a descriptive approach, and the data collection method uses observation activities , interview, and informants who are IT staff of the Bengkulu University Library. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data renderig, and drawing conclusions. The results of teh study show that network collaboration with OPAC applications that are applied to information retrieval services is optimal and effective for librarians and users.

Abstract

User satisfaction is a benchmark in efforts to improve library services. The aims of this study were: (1) to find out what services are available at the Library of SMP Negeri 3 Rantau Bayur, Banyuasin Regency; (2) to find out the effect of library services on user satisfaction at the Library of SMP Negeri 3 Rantau Bayur, Banyuasin Regency. The research method used is decriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study were library users at the SMP Negeri 3 Rantau Bayur, Banyuasin Regency, namely students, and teachers or education staff. The results in this study obtained data, namely: (1) the services available at the library include: library service hours, circulation services, reference services, reading room service, user education program, compulsory reading programs in the library, information literacy programs, library promotions, holding doorpize for users who frequently do visit, student showcase; (2) the services provided have an influence on user satisfaction. The conclusion in this study is that the Library of SMP Negeri 3 Rantau Bayur, Banyuasin Regency must optimize the services provided so that users are more satisfied, so that the interest of visiting users to the library also increases.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengelolaan arsip rekam medis melalui beberapa tahapan yang terdiri dari tahap penciptaan, pendistribusian, penggunaan, pemeliharaan dan disposisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahap pengelolaan arsip dinamis rekam medis dan kendala dalam pengelolaan arsip rekam medis pada instalasi rawat jalan yang dihadapi oleh RSUD Palembang BARI. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini ialah observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan pada 5 staf rekam medis di RSUD Palembang BARI. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ialah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan arsip rekam medis pada instalasi rawat jalan dilakukan saat pasien datang berkunjung, lalu rekam medis akan didistribusikan dan digunakan, penyimpanan serta pemeliharaan rekam medis, pemusnahan rekam medis jika sudah memasuki masa nya. Kendala-kendala dalam melakukan pengelolaan arsip rekam medis yaitu: sumber daya manusia yang masih kurang, terdapat kesalahan dalam pengembalian rekam medis, dan jaringan dalam mengakses data informasi pasien yang terkadang error. Kesimpulannya, pengelolaan arsip rekam medis pada instalasi rawat jalan di RSUD Palembanng BARI sudah terlaksana dengan baik tetapi pada penyimpanan dan pemeliharaan masih belum terimplementasi dengan baik.

Abstract

The existence of village archives is very important in the sustainability process of a village. Village archives are created during the process of activities carried out by the village government. Archive management in Muara Pulutan Village is still done manually so the time required to retrieve information is not effective and efficient. The aim of this research is to develop an arterial system (integrated archives) for archive management in Muara Pulutan Village. This research uses a prototyping model which consists of communication stages, quick plan, modeling quick design, construction of prototype, deployment delivery and feedback. The research results show that the development of the arterial system (integrated archive) with a prototyping model was developed in accordance with the communication and quick plan. The quick plan stage is depicted in the form of a use case diagram which consists of adding archives, searching archives, master data, borrowing archives, reporting and access rights. Prototyping is given to stakeholders for consideration in ensuring and determining what functions are used. The next stage is the stage of deployment, delivery, and feedback which results in showing that all the main functions of the system are running according to user needs. The conclusion of this research is that the existence of a digital archive system in archival management in Muara Pulutan Village can facilitate the retrieval of required archive information, thereby improving the services provided by the village so that they can run effectively and efficiently.Keywords: village archives, digital archives, development system, prototyping

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis proses alih media naskah kuno di Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta sebagai upaya pelestarian koleksi bernilai sejarah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.  Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan alih media upaya ini sangat membantu dalam melindungi koleksi dari kerusakan dan memudahkan pengguna dalam mengakses secara digital. Alih media yang dilakukan oleh Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta mengacu pada Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) yang dibuat. Tahapan alih media yang dilakukan dalam alih media koleksi ke dalam bentuk digital dilakukan mulai dari pengelompokan, identifikasi koleksi, proses alih media dan penyimpanan. Beberapa masalah yang muncul dalam proses alih media adalah scanner yang kadang bermasalah, ruangan yang kurang memadai, dan dari sumber daya manusia (SDM) dalam proses alih media.

Abstract

Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Padang telah mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat, relokasi gedung baru pada tahun 2024 dengan peningkatan fasilitas dan desain interior modern yang terbukti berhasil mendukung kegiatan akademik, terlihat dari lonjakan signifikan jumlah pengunjung pasca peresmian pada 3 Juni 2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis desain interior modern perpustakaan pasca relokasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis tematik dengan melakukan identifikasi, analisis dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ruang baca, digital, dan diskusi dirancang ergonomis dengan pencahayaan optimal. Konsep warna cerah, kayu, dan kaca menciptakan suasana dinamis, didukung signage strategis dan fasilitas privasi di area pribadi. Pengaturan suhu, pencahayaan, dan suara memastikan kenyamanan pemustaka, sementara konsep minimalis modern meningkatkan estetika dan produktivitas dalam belajar dengan desain yang mendukung aktivitas pemustaka. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu desain interior perpustakaan mengutamakan kenyamanan, estetika, dan fungsionalitas yang menggunakan konsep modern minimalis dengan furnitur yang estektika dan fungsional serta penggunaan konsep warna cerah dapat menunjang kenyamanan dan aktivitas pemustaka.

Abstract

The development of information technology allows the development of an innovative library service system, one of which is the development of a journal management system. Research purposes to develop an android-based online journal system in library. The research method uses a prototype system development method with five stages. The results of this study succeeded in developing an android-based online journal system with several search, submit and review journal features. The results of the system testing show that the web design is attractive to users with a score of 4.0; realibility is good enough to get a mean of 3.0; (c) Responsiness is quite good with a score of 3.0; security 3.0 the system's ability to maintain user data security is good enough; Functionality is quite good with 3.0; Attractivess is very interested in the 5.0 score; Personalization 3.0, this shows that the availability of information to ask questions is good enough.

Abstract

Ergonomics studies in the Reading Room of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Bengkulu University need to be carried out so that users feel comfortable in the library. The aims of this research is to examine the application of ergonomics concepts to the facilities and infrastructure of the Reading Room, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Bengkulu University, which include bookshelves, reading tables, reading chairs, lighting, temperature and humidity. This research was conducted using quantitative research methods with a survey approach. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to 183 respondents using the Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD) method based on ergonomic aspects: effective, comfortable, safe, healthy, and efficient. The results showed that the respondents' assessment of the facilities and infrastructure of the FISIP UNIB Reading Room was as follows (1) bookshelf 82% (good); (2) reading table 72.6% (good); (3) reading chair 70.8% (good); (4) lighting level of 58% (sufficient); (5) temperature and humidity 58% (enough). The conclusion in this study is that in the Reading Room of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Bengkulu University, it is not optimal in applying the ergonomic concept. The Reading Room of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Bengkulu needs to pay attention to the maximum application of ergonomics so that it can provide comfort for users visiting the library.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze of archive process and to create prototype of digital archive repository system which can give easy in retrieval archive process. The method used in systems development using the prototyping model cosists of communication, quick plan, modeling quick design, construction of prototype, deployment delivery and feedback. The results show that the business process of archiving in Department of Population and Civil Registration of DKI Jakarta Province covers the creation, dissemination, arrangement, filing, retention, and reporting. The development of digital archive repository system in Department of Population and Civil Registration of DKI Jakarta Province was successfully done by prototyping method as iteration twice. The main function of this system is the processing of digital archives, export/import, archive circulation, archive retrieval system, and archive data reporting. This system has changed business processes that were previously done manually into digital. Test results distributed to 10 respondents that average value show that the system is made good and useful for users.
