Abstract

The aim this study is to describe of students’ perceptions about the quality of the sewing machines in terms of their damage and maintenance for worskshop in fashion boutiques laboratorium of SMKN 8 Padang. The typr of this research is quantitative descriptive, with 25% population from each local of dressmaking class at SMKN 8 Padang. Amount of sample total are 30 students. Taking sample used random sampling technique, mixed sample. The data processing was done by specifying and categorizing the percentage of observed items. The results of this study indicated that students’ prceptions about the quality of sewing machines reviewed from their damage is in the low category (59%) and the maintenance is in th good enough category (77,16%). For that reason, need to inprove the quality of sewing machines and their maintenance in order quality of them can support pactice learning at the clothing boutique of dressmaking programs at SMKN 8 Padang.Kata Kunci: Persepsi Siswa Tentang Kualitas Mesin Jahit

Abstract

Abstrak- Tujuan utama dari setiap perusahaan listrik seperti PLN adalah untuk memberikan daya dengan kualitas yang baik. Dengan meningkatnya penggunaan perangkat elektronika daya (beban non linier), kualitas daya menjadi terpengaruh. Salah satu penyebab yang mempengaruhi kualitas daya adalah terjadinya gangguan harmonisa. Hal ini menjadi masalah utama untuk masalah kualitas daya dan analisis harmonisa diperlukan untuk meneliti dalam pemodelan komponen untuk meminimalkan atau menghilangkan gangguan harmonisa ini. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis harmonisa telah dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak ETAP, Pertama-tama, beban dimodelkan sebagai sumber harmonisa untuk menimbulkan arus harmonik. Kemudian, untuk menganalisis pengaruh arus harmonik, dilakukan analisis Harmonic Load Flow dan identifikasi distorsi harmonik. Untuk menghilangkan distorsi harmonik ini, terdapat berbagai macam teknik mitigasi, yaitu menggunakan bank kapasitor dan filter harmonisa. Dari hasil mitigasi menggunakan bank kapasitor diperoleh hasil nilai THDi sebesar 4,3 % dan hasil mitigasi menggunakan filter single tune diperoleh nilai THDi sebesar 13,64 %. Hasil keseluruhan dibahas secara rinci untuk mengukur efisiensi analisis harmonik tersebut.

Abstract

The implementation of an effective quality management system is essential in improving the quality of education in high school. This study aims to illustrate the implementation of the Total Quality Management (TQM) model in supporting the work quality culture at SMAN 1 Kelumpang Utara. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. In-depth interviews, participant observations, and documentation were carried out on the principal, 15 teachers, 3 staff, 1 head of sub-division, and 15 students. The data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman Models, which include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The findings show that TQM has been implemented at SMAN 1 Kelumpang Utara with an emphasis on creating consistency of goals, improving the quality of graduates and services, improving the quality and productivity of school stakeholders, leadership in education, eliminating fear and obstacles to success, creating a culture of quality, process improvement, helping students succeed, commitment, and responsibility. However, there are still obstacles in the total involvement of all school members and continuous improvement. A TQM implementation model is necessary to support a quality work culture that involves staff engagement, leadership, partnerships, reward systems, and organizational quality. These components must be based on a system of values, norms, and culture formulated in a vision, mission, and goals that are understood by all members of the organization.

Abstract

This study is grounded in the importance of curriculum development in improving the quality of education at the secondary school level. An adaptive curriculum that aligns with the needs of both students and the wider community is expected to foster the optimal achievement of educational goals. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis followed the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing to provide an in-depth understanding of the curriculum development process at SMAN 1 Kelumpang Utara. The findings reveal that curriculum development at SMAN 1 Kelumpang Utara has been implemented in accordance with established procedures, particularly in the aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results align with the CIPP model of curriculum evaluation, which emphasizes the integration of context, input, process, and product. Nevertheless, challenges remain, particularly the limited involvement of teachers and the community in each stage, indicating that the principle of relevance to learners’ and environmental needs has not been fully realized. Overall, the developed curriculum has contributed positively to educational quality, yet it still requires strengthened coordination, collaboration, and continuous adaptation to both national policy dynamics and local needs.

Abstract

Character education based on local wisdom is an effort to prevent the decline of ethical and moral values of the younger generation in the educational process. This literature review aims to discuss the cultivation of local wisdom-based student character education in science learning. The method used in this study is Narrative Literature Review (NLR). Data collection through the Science Direct and Google Scholar databases, articles that have been published from 2017 to April 2023. The results of the literature review that has been carried out show that, local wisdom-based student character education in science learning in schools can be instilled by integrating the potential of local wisdom with activities extracurriculars, practicum or group learning, local tourism model learning, learning that is done with games, as well as through interactions between students using local languages.

Abstract

Saat ini dunia banyak dihadapkan oleh tantangan global, salah satunya adalah pemanfaatan energi matahari sebagai energi terbarukan. Indonesia merupakan negara yang memiliki potensi besar memanfaatkan energi matahari dengan menggunakan panel surya. Untuk dapat memaksimalkan energi matahari yang bisa diterima oleh panel surya perlu diketahui sudut kemiringan yang optimal dalam pemasangannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sudut kemiringan dengan melihat perubahan tegangan, arus, dan daya keluaran yang dihasilkan oleh panel surya sebesar 50 WP terhadap perubahan sudut kemiringan panel surya. Penelitian dilakukan secara langsung selama beberapa waktu dengan membandingkan sudut kemiringan panel surya 0˚, 10˚, 30˚ dan 45˚. Hasil dari pengujian ini didapatkan bahwa sudut kemiringan akan memengaruhi besar iradiasi yang diterima panel dan besar daya keluaran yang dihasilkan. Sudut kemiringan yang efektif pada lokasi pengujian ini adalah 10 derajat dibanding sudut lainnya. Sudut 10 derajat dapat menerima iradiasi matahari terbesar sebesar 1291 watt/ m2, dengan daya keluaran yang dapat dihasilkan sebesar 50.81 watt pada kondisi cuaca cerah.

Abstract

Masalah kualitas daya litsrik menjadi perhatian yang meningkat, karena ketidakstabilan tegangan dapat merusak peralatan yang sensitif terhadap perubahan tegangan, terutama peralatan elektronik. Peralatan-peralatan tersebut dapat rusak jika dialiri lisrik dari sumber yang tidak stabil. Permasalahan kualitas daya listrik dapat menyebabkan kerusakan dan penurunan kinerja pada peralatan elektronik yang terpasang. Penurunan kualitas daya dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai macam permasalahan contohnya adalah gangguan harmonisa dan ketidakseimbangan tegangan maupun beban. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kualitas daya gedung Direktorat Politeknik Negeri Samarinda dengan menggunakan alat untuk pengambilan serta pengukuran data yaitu dengan Power Quality Analyzer (PQA). Hasil pengukuran ini selanjutnya akan dibandingkan dengan standar IEEE, sebagai evaluasi terhadap kualitas daya listrik di gedung Direktorat Politeknik Negeri Samarinda.

Abstract

Total The abstract is well structured and written in clear academic language; however, this revision strengthens the theoretical contribution and novelty of the research. Total Quality Management (TQM) has evolved into one of the most influential paradigms for achieving excellence in education. In the 21st century, educational institutions are challenged to provide services that are student-centered, data-driven, and responsive to stakeholder expectations. This study aims to critically analyze the strategic relevance and theoretical contribution of Arcaro’s TQM principles in enhancing educational service quality. By employing a library research method, this study synthesizes findings from national and international scholarly literature, including journals, books, and prior studies on TQM implementation in education. The analysis reveals that Arcaro’s TQM framework not only aligns with global educational quality standards but also introduces a pedagogical dimension often absent in conventional management models. Its focus on leadership commitment, stakeholder participation, data-based evaluation, and continuous improvement provides a holistic structure for institutional transformation. Theoretically, this study contributes to the modernization of educational quality management by integrating Arcaro’s human-centered approach emphasizing ethical leadership, collaborative culture, and learner empowerment into contemporary educational contexts. Practically, the adaptation of Arcaro’s TQM principles offers a new strategic perspective for developing sustainable quality systems in both schools and higher education institutions. Despite challenges such as limited resources, bureaucratic rigidity, and resistance to change, effective leadership and adaptive governance remain key to successful implementation. In conclusion, Arcaro’s TQM framework provides a comprehensive and contextually adaptable model that bridges management theory and educational innovation, advancing a culture of continuous improvement and stakeholder satisfaction in the global education landscape.
