Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun aplikasi jual-beli barang bekas (SecondApps) berbasis Android untuk komunitas Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). Dengan melihat tren di masyarakat yang semakin tertarik pada barang bekas untuk alasan koleksi, hobi, dan efisiensi pengeluaran, serta kebutuhan akan wadah promosi khusus bagi dosen, pegawai, dan mahasiswa UNP untuk menjual barang bekas yang layak pakai, penelitian ini mengusulkan solusi dengan mengembangkan aplikasi yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk membeli dan menjual barang bekas dengan mudah. Penelitian awal melibatkan wawancara dengan mahasiswa UNP, yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar dari mereka memilih untuk menjual barang bekas sebelum pulang ke daerah asal, sementara banyak mahasiswa baru tidak mengetahui adanya barang bekas yang masih layak pakai dijual dengan harga ekonomis. Selain itu, wawancara dengan mahasiswa juga menyoroti penggunaan marketplace online seperti OLX dan Facebook sebagai saluran penjualan barang bekas. Dengan demikian, aplikasi yang diusulkan diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dalam menjual dan membeli barang bekas secara efektif dan efisien

Abstract

Extracurricular activities, being non-academic pursuits conducted outside of regular school hours, are a common feature in many schools, including SMK Negeri 6 Padang. To streamline the registration and management of these activities, this application was developed. Employing a systematic waterfall methodology, the development process encompassed needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance, culminating in a well-structured and reliable system. The application was built using PHP, MySQL, and UML, and its functionality and usability were assessed through black-box testing. This web application has been meticulously developed to facilitate the management of extracurricular data at SMK Negeri 6 Padang. Equipped with a comprehensive suite of features, the system enables users to effortlessly perform a wide range of administrative tasks.

Abstract

Facing the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 requires mastery of digital literacy, one of which is the ability to use computers effectively. In Indonesia, students can learn how computers operate through Informatics subjects, particularly in Programming Algorithms. However, learning Programming Algorithms is not sufficient if it is limited to the classroom using textbooks as the main learning resource. The high potential of mobile phone usage among the Indonesian population, as indicated by data from GoodStats and the 2022 Indonesian Telecommunication Statistics, can be utilized to integrate this technology into learning. The type of research used in this study is Research and Development (R&D), employing the ADDIE model. This article proposes the development of a self-directed digital learning material (E-Module) in the form of a smartphone application based on the Android platform. The E-Module presents interactive content such as videos, images, and animations to enhance student engagement by integrating the principles of Computational Thinking (CT), which are essential for developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Validation results from subject matter experts show that the E-Module achieved a feasibility score of 94.5%. This assessment confirms that the E-Module is highly suitable for student trials, with content aligned to the curriculum, communicative language, systematic presentation, and appealing graphic design. The E-Module is expected to be effective in improving students' understanding, motivation, and critical thinking skills in Programming Algorithms.

Abstract

Sistem informasi agenda layanan akademik merupakan aplikasi yang dikembangkan untuk membantu menajemen dan penyelenggaraan layanan akademik di Departemen Teknik Elektronika Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi agenda layanan akademik di Departemen Teknik Elektronika Universitas Negeri Padang mengunakan framework laravel dan PHP, serta menerapkan metodologi pengembangan waterfall dengan pendekatan UML (Unified Modeling Language). Sistem ini bertujuan untuk menyimpan dokumen dokumen penting dalam kegiatan yang ada di Departemen Teknik Elektronika. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sistem agenda layanan akademik berhasil diimplementasikan dengan baik dan dinyatakan valid melalui pengujian black-box testing, dengan persentase kevalidan sebesar 91%. Selain itu dapat menghasilkan sistem informasi agenda layanan akademik untuk mempermudah menyimpan dokumen di Departemen Teknik Elektronika Universitas Negeri Padang.

Abstract

Agenda Layanan Non Akademik merupakan kegiatan tambahan yang diberikan oleh suatu Perguruan Tinggi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh dosen maupun mahasiswa. Adapun Agenda Layanan non akademik ini terdiri dari kegiatan penelitian, pengabdian masyarakat, publikasi ilmiah dan pendidikan studi lanjut. Rancang bangun sistem ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sistem yang bisa membantu menunjang fasilitas Departemen Teknik Elektronika FT UNP dalam memberikan informasi dan mempermudah proses administrasi kegiatan Agenda Layanan Non Akademik. Rancangan Sistem ini terdiri dari Use Case Diagram, Context Diagram Activity Diagram, Entity Relation Diagram. Sistem ini dibangun dengan bahasa PHP menggunakan framework Laravel, serta MySQL sebagai Database Management System.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology as part of globalization has become an integral part of modern society, demanding that government institutions be more transparent and facilitate access to information, especially regarding governance. Public services are a crucial element in the daily lives of citizens, supporting their activities. To provide better public services, community participation is essential to assist and improve government performance in national development efforts. Public services prioritize the public interest, ease of public affairs, and enhance public satisfaction (Riani Anisa Putri, 2022). According to Arif, Moh. Masyhur (2018), service involves providing everything needed by others in the act of serving. Service is a fundamental need of every human being and cannot be separated from life. The goal of handling complaints is to provide mechanisms, procedures, and systems that enable proper management of grievances or complaints, ensuring smooth organizational activities. Factors influencing public service conditions in Indonesia include human resources, management, public policy, public accountability, and community participation (Zunidar, Nuri Wiyono, 2023). Nagari Kinari is located in the Bukit Sundi District, Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province, covering an area of 28.86 square kilometers. According to Nagari Kinari Regulation No. 3 of 2011 on the Formation and Division of Jorong Work Areas in Nagari Kinari, this region consists of four jorongs. The support of technology and active community participation is expected to improve the quality of public services in Nagari Kinari, in line with national efforts to build a more responsive and efficient governance system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem e-money yang dapat digunakan untuk transaksi di Universitas Negeri Padang. E-money ini dirancang untuk memudahkan berbagai transaksi keuangan di lingkungan kampus, termasuk pembayaran biaya kuliah, pembelian di kantin, dan transaksi lainnya. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak waterfall yang meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Teknologi yang digunakan mencakup pemrograman berbasis web dan mobile, dengan basis data yang terintegrasi untuk memastikan keamanan dan keandalan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem e-money ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dan kenyamanan transaksi di Universitas Negeri Padang, serta mendapat respons positif dari pengguna. Implementasi sistem ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi pengembangan sistem serupa di institusi pendidikan lainnya.

Abstract

Teaching the importance of personalized learning in educational technology courses encourages students to understand how tailored educational approaches can enhance learning outcomes. Diagnostic learning style testing, including visual, auditory, kinesthetic (VAK), and technology usage dimensions, has been widely recognized as an effective method for addressing diverse student needs. The purpose of this paper is to design an e-learning application with diagnostic learning style testing to enhance personalization in educational technology courses. This system evaluates learning styles based on five dimensions and uses diagnostic results to recommend personalized learning strategies. The application is implemented as a web-based platform, providing both theoretical insights and practical application. By utilizing this system, educators and learners can gain actionable insights into individual learning preferences, ensuring better alignment between teaching methods and student needs. Additionally, the e-learning application can be accessed via mobile devices, allowing for flexible and adaptive learning experiences anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

In today's digital era, information technology has become an integral part of various aspects of life, including education. Schools, as institutions that have an important role in shaping students' character and competence, need to utilize technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness in managing various activities, including non-academic agendas. The importance of this non-academic agenda management application is based on the need to improve the quality of management of non-academic activities that can have a positive impact on student development. Through this application, SMA Perti PPMTI Padang can improve coordination between the school and students, and increase student involvement in non-academic activities. Therefore, from the description above, the author is interested in designing an application with the title "Academic and Non-Academic Agenda Management Application for SMA Perti PPMTI Padang". The author conducts research to develop academic and non-academic agenda management applications that are more effective than existing manual methods. The goal is to improve scheduling efficiency at SMA Perti PPMTI Padang, facilitate access to information for students and teachers, and reduce the administrative burden on school staff by automating administrative tasks. The method used in designing this system is the waterfall method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merancang dan mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) berbasis web dengan fokus pada Rekam Medis Elektronik (RME) menggunakan framework Laravel. SIMRS dirancang untuk mengatasi masalah redundansi data, kurangnya integrasi, dan kesalahan manual dalam pengelolaan data rumah sakit. Dengan menggunakan metode waterfall, sistem berhasil mengintegrasikan modul manajemen obat, penjadwalan, dan pembuatan tagihan, serta modul RME sebagai inti utama. Pengujian awal menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi dan akurasi pengelolaan data pasien, dengan keamanan yang terjamin melalui proses validasi. Sistem ini juga menunjukkan potensi integrasi dengan platform "Satu Sehat" melalui API dummy, membuka jalan bagi interoperabilitas sistem informasi kesehatan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa SIMRS berbasis Laravel layak untuk diterapkan dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut sesuai kebutuhan rumah sakit.
