Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPA) plays an important role in supporting children’s ability to read the Qur’an and in developing their religious character. However, learning activities at TPA may face challenges in the form of low interest and participation when the learning process is conducted monotonously. This condition was found in the TPA activities in Hamlet 3, Paya Bagas Village, where the number of students participating at the beginning of the program was only around 10 children, with inconsistent attendance. This community service activity aimed to increase children’s interest and participation in Qur’anic learning through the implementation of enjoyable and interactive learning methods. The activity was conducted using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, with data collected through participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. The interventions included learning through play, ice-breaking activities, educational games, the use of visual media such as flashcards, and assistance in reading and recognizing Hijaiyah letters. The results showed an increase in children’s participation in TPA activities. The number of students participating increased from approximately 10 children at the initial stage to 25 children after the implementation of more varied and interactive learning methods. In addition to the increase in the number of participants, the learning activities were conducted in a more active and enjoyable atmosphere. Thus, the involvement of KKN students through innovative learning methods can serve as an effort to increase children’s interest and participation in Qur’anic learning activities at TPA in Hamlet 3, Paya Bagas Village.
