Abstract

Construction industry has a vital role in Indonesia’s economic growth. Infrastructure projects have been the priorities in the past five years consistent with RPJMN (National Medium Term Development Plan). It’s evident in the percentage of contribution of the construction industry, i.e. 10.2%, to Gross Domestic Product (PDB) and 6.34 million employments (5.3% national labors). However, it isn’t followed by efficiency of the construction industry. Increased cost, implementation, delay, conflict and dispute are some problems which arise from fragmentation and causes the construction industry to be known as an inefficient industry. A possible approach to solve fragment problem is studying the supply chain of the construction industry. The present study aimed to measure supply chain performance of construction using SCOR (supply chain) method, the impact and mitigation. The result was that the handling performed in TSM Bali project resulted in 5.56% of indirect waste, 8.63% of direct waste, and 443,711 tonCO2 of carbon footprint

Abstract

The challenge of construction supply chain management is to maintain supply and demand in the supply chain flow and ensure a sustainable supply chain in the framework of lean construction. This challenge must be captured as part of the solution of the development of the rapidly growing construction industry. At present a sustainableSCOR on the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) version 12.0 has been developed. SustainableSCOR is a concept of a sustainable supply chain performance measurement approach by considering environmental aspects. The aim of this study is to adopt a supply chain performance measurement model in the sustainable construction of SCOR 12.0. The research method adopts standards, categories, and matrices in sustainableSCOR to a constructionally validated definition to academics and practitioners. The discussion of the supply chain continues with the calculation of each matrix. The results showed that all sustainableSCOR categories, namely materials, recycled inputs, recovered inputs, energy, water, emissions, and waste can be adopted to measure sustainable supply chain performance in construction. The adoption of this performance measurement needs to be detailed into one of the construction materials, in this study is steel material.

Abstract

Inefficiencies in construction projects, aside from being caused by poor planning and control, are also attributed to delays in material delivery, especially for critical materials. One of the main causes of these delivery delays is suboptimal supply chain management. Therefore, it is essential to evaluate supply chain performance to identify and address these issues. Supply chain performance evaluation can utilize the SCOR 12.0 model, which has been widely applied in the manufacturing industry. A case study was conducted on the Semarang–Demak Toll Road Project Package 2, focusing on two key materials: precast full slabs and ready-mix concrete. The evaluation of supply chain performance employed the SCOR 12.0 model, which covers dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, agility, costs, and assets, as well as best practices implemented within the project. The research used a qualitative methodology, collecting data through questionnaires designed to assess supply chain performance indicators based on the SCOR 12.0 model, adapted for the construction context, and conducting interviews with project stakeholders and suppliers. The findings from the questionnaires and interviews were used to validate key performance indicators (KPIs), which were then scored on a Likert scale with five levels (5 = excellent, 4 = good, 3 = average, 2 = poor, 1 = very poor). The results of the supply chain performance assessment showed a score of 3.53 (good) for precast full slabs and a score of 3.8 (good) for ready-mix concrete.

Abstract

Abstract

Productivity is a challenge in the construction industry, commonly initiated by fragmentation. In addition, some work levels have been identified, including the micro, meso, and macro. However, the construction supply chain is one of the possible solutions adopted to increase productivity. The purpose of this study, therefore, is to develop a framework for measuring supply chain construction performance at the micro, meso, and macro levels. These respective stages are tiered from the bottom to the top level as a supply chain management concept. Furthermore, a design for the supply chain performance measurement framework is created, followed by formulation with KPI, and the consequent application in the project. Therefore, performance is evaluated based on the construction materials, as a large resource. The results identified the supply chain performance at the micro-level as the basis for possible measures between contractor and supplier, using the SCOR. However, the emphasis was made on the strength of construction companies with large suppliers at the meso level. Meanwhile, the macro-level includes the accumulation of related measurements from micro as well as meso, and are consequently used to define the relationship between construction actors at the national level.

Abstract

Forest fires pose a significant ecological and socio-economic threat globally, particularly in regions prone to climate change and anthropogenic pressures. This study conducts a comprehensive Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and Bibliometric Analysis of forest fire prediction models from 2021 to mid 2025, focusing on the utilization of machine learning, deep learning, and hybrid approaches. The review systematically analyses 65 relevant publications sourced from Scopus and ScienceDirect, selected through a PRISMA framework. The findings indicate that models such as 1D CNN, ConvLSTM, Transformer, and Random Forest are commonly applied, leveraging diverse datasets including satellite imagery, meteorological data, vegetation indices, and fire history records. Despite advances, most studies still emphasize meteorological variables, while local contexts such as socio-economic and land use factors remain underexplored. Furthermore, current models often face limitations in generalizability across regions. This study identifies key trends, gaps, and opportunities in the development of more robust and interpretable fire prediction models. This research also provides knowledge and insight related to the warning system for forest fire disasters. Recommendations include integrating socio-environmental data and developing geographically adaptive frameworks to enhance forest fire risk assessment and early warning systems.
