Abstract

The growth of Semarang City created residential areas in the pheriperal of the city. The objectives of this study is to analyze the development of public transport based on the geographic information system. The method used is a descriptive method, using isoprice and mobility models. The results show that mobility to the central city is influenced by transportation expenses and potensial amount of people transported.Keywords: Public trasport development, isoprice, and mobility model.

Abstract

Semarang-Solo toll road has strategic significance for the development of the national road network inparticular in Central Java and also for the development of road networks in the regional scale. At stage 1 is thesegment Semarang-Bawen along 23.1 km is divided into sections 1 Semarang-Ungaran along 14.1 km requireland acquisition area of 52.23 Ha and 7.8 km long in Semarang district with an area of land acquisition needs60.37 Ha. Although he was pursued through the vacant lands, but in reality also crossed the road infrastructureor splitting the existing environment. Land acquisition is a fundamental problem of construction project and it ispart of the risk of infrastructure procurement. Purely technical approach sometimes can not always solve theproblem to minimize the risk. So this condition is sometimes often be in the realm of social engineering.

Abstract

Penerapan standard bangunan tahan gempa baru pada penelitian ini adalah bagian dari mekanisme kebijakan teknis dan harmonisasi kepentingan dari para praktisi gedung di daerah. Persoalan teknis di lapangan menuntut adanya integrasi komitmen antara praktisi gedung dan pemilik proyek. Jika suatu penerapan standard bangunan terjadi saat gedung sedang dibangun maka perlu mekanisme kebijakan yang dapat mengharmonisasi kepentingan teknis dan administrasi proyek. Penelitian ini merupakan bukti empirik bagaimana mekanisme kebijakan retrofit bangunan pasca penerapan SNI bangunan tahan gempa baru diterapkan pada bangunan rumah sakit umum di Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan simulasi model struktur dan wawancara semi-structured dengan enam praktisi gedung yang telah berpengalaman antara 15-25 tahun. Hasil simulasi model struktur diperoleh bahwa beberapa elemen struktur harus dilakukan retrofit untuk meningkatkan kapasitas terhadap beban gempa baru yang relatif meningkat dua kalinya dari standar gempa lama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, keberhasilan penerapan standard gedung tahan gempa baru dipengaruhi oleh mekanisme komunikasi dan pengalaman kontraktor yang memadai pada eksekusi di lokasi. Interaksi antara pemilik proyek, kontraktor, dan tim manajemen konstruksi adalah bentuk mekanisme yang bisa dikembangkan terutama bagi praktisi gedung di daerah dengan keterbatasan sumber daya teknologi dan keterampilan.

Abstract

The endownment problems of urban growth is the density. Based on Land-Rent theorema, the people move tosuburban area. After that, the access built to accommodating the people activities. This article describe aboutthe density, road network pattern identification and the isoprice as the new approach to chapturing themacroscopic evaluation. By literature study from previews study and spatial methodology by geographicinformation system, the problems was simulated quantitatively. The result of this study indicated that SemarangCity has radial concentric topology with pattern of density commencing to south district with cheaper costtransport in the dense network of public transport.

Abstract

ABSTRAKMenjadi salah satu universitas terbaik di Indonesia membuat Universitas Diponegoro perlu terus mengembangkan fasilitas kampus. Salah satu poin penting fasilitas kampus adalah jalur pedestrian karena banyaknya pergerakan internal kampus oleh civitas akademika. Jalur pedestrian harus baik dalam kondisi teknis dan bisa memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman bagi pejalan kaki. Penelitian ini diambil untuk menilai kondisi jalur pedestrian di kawasan kampus secara teknis dan non-teknis. Observasi dilaksanakan di lingkungan kampus Undip dengan sampel jalan di dalam dan luar kampus. Data yang didapatkan kemudian dianalisa menggunakan analisa deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu kondisi jalur pedestrian di kawasan kampus Undip secara teknis masih sedikit yang sesuai standar yang berlaku. Walkability pada jalur pedestrian masih bisa ditingkatkan kualitasnya terutama pada aspek kenyamanan dan aspek aksesibilitas.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola pengembangan angkutan umum berbasiskaraktersitik lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah kuantitatif denganmodel spasial Sistem Informasi Geografi berupa simulasi trayek dan isoprice sebagaigambaran sistem pelayanan angkutan umum. Hasil dari studi adalah: penggunaan angkutanumum di daerah studi hanya sekitar 33% saja, pola pelayanan angkutan umum dapatdigambarkan dari isoprice biaya transport menuju ke CBD. Daerah dengan kepadatanpermukiman yang tinggi pola pelayanannya lebih efektif dibandingkan yang kurangpadat Diharapkan di masa mendatang pemecahan persoalan angkutan umum lebih memperhatikankarakteristik lokal seperti biaya transportasi, dan kondisi wilayah sepertijaringan jalan dan feedernya.AbstractThe aim of this study is to analyze the public transportation development patterns basedon the local characteristics. The methology of this study is quantitative method employingspatial mode Geographic Information System by traject simulation and isoprice as the visualof public transportation service. The results of this study are: the use of public transportationin this study area is only about 33%. Public transportation service could be visualizedfrom isoprice of cost transportation to CBD. The region with more populationresidence has effective supply compared with less population of it. It’s hoped that thetransportation problems could be solved by concerning local characteristics such as costtransportation and region condition as street network and their feeder.

Abstract

The implementation of the Village Fund policy made a very significant change, the villages which had previously received a very limited budget were managed centrally by government agencies on top of which villages now get a substantial budget and are given the authority to manage independently. Village Funds for physical development realized in 2015, 2016 and 2017 that are felt transparently, do not meet the quality of infrastructure in supporting facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to evaluate the successful implementation of village road infrastructure related to village funding. The location of this research is Gondang Village, Kertanegara Village and Karanggambas Village, Purbalingga Regency. The data analysis technique used is data analysis with quantitative and qualitative methods with steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that (1) Village planning in the research location is not fully in accordance with Permendagri Number 114 of 2014, (2) the highest level of road damage in Karanggambas Village (16.94%), the biggest 2016 and 2017 road damage in the village Gondang (10.73% and 17.77%) (3) commitment and quality of human resources affect the successful implementation of infrastructure planning and development, (4) Implementation of Village Funds in terms of benefits has been felt by the community in meeting basic infrastructure needs, but not fully implemented. said to be successful, (5) the level of maintenance of damage to village road infrastructure is still low.

Abstract

Indonesia as the second largest contributor in global were produced about 9.52 million tons plastic or 14% of the total waste. The rapid population growth of urban area in Indonesia indirectly encourages various activities that affect the volume of waste. Semarang city were contributing waste in landfills reaches 850,000 tons per day, where 1,000 tons unmanageable. Unsorted garbage has the potential as new materials option in cultural heritage buildings. To elaborate these potential options, this research has been conducted qualitative method as the best approach to answer the research question. This research investigates the stakeholders’ perspectives about potential of plastic waste for replacement material of heritage buildings. The results show that there is a lack of data on waste management which is one of the challenges to find out how much volume of plastic waste can be reused. In addition, the principle of building cultural heritage is opposed to the use of plastic waste as an alternative material as a substitute element. In conclusion, plastic waste has a little potential from current waste to be applied on heritage buildings are limited element such as roof, furniture or temporary support of the structural element.

Abstract

The use of disaster insurance for public infrastructure is still uncommon in Indonesia, including in Semarang. The success of the adoption of disaster insurance for public infrastructure is inevitably dependent on the acceptance of stakeholders. The aim of this study is to analyse the power and interest of stakeholders towards the use of disaster insurance for public infrastructure in Semarang. Data was collected via interviews and focussed group discussions with stakeholders of Semarang government officials, asset managers, users, etc. The power-interest grid of stakeholders divides the stakeholders based on their levels of power and interests, resulting in four categories, i.e. players, subjects, crowds, and context setters. This research identified the players are the Mayor, Regional Disaster Management Authority, and Regional Financial and Asset Management Authority (5.5%); the subjects category includes The Public Works Department of Human Settlements and Highways, Public Works Department, Trade Department, majority Public Health Center (40.7%); the crowds are Education Department and majority public schools (53.7%); and no context setters (0%). This study found that low trust in the insurer is a major factor causing a lack of interest in the use of insurance. The results of this study are valuable to understand the stakeholder map of Semarang city based on power and interest aspects, and serve as a basis for developing disaster insurance adoption strategies for public infrastructure.
