This study examines the importance of character education in students of Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially those who are currently undergoing the online learning process. The character of education is really needed not only in school or college but also at home and in the social environment itself. Furthermore, students in colleges are no longer monitored by their parents during the learning process so that character or manners while studying are no longer something that must be observed and considered important in distance learning. This study is a literature study sourced from library materials using a qualitative approach. Thus, the research activity is the exploration of a number of data both primary and secondary with some concrete steps such as reading and studying primary data in the form of research books, theses or dissertations related to character education and its relationship with Pandemic Covid-19. Character education for students is needed because so far students are only preoccupied with lecture materials in the classroom, but pay less attention to the meaning and value behind the process itself. The situation becomes more difficult when classroom learning turns into distance learning and students cannot be fully monitored by lecturers and less participation from parents who pay less attention to character education at home.

Educating students not to smoke is one of the goals of character education in schools. This study aimed to illustrate how character education “does not smoke†in muhammadiyah schools in the Kudus City. The researcher selected the Muhammadiyah school and took place at Kudus, for various reasons. The Kudus City is known as the City of Kretek, while the Assembly of Tarjid and Tajdid Muhammadiyah issued illegal laws for people who smoke. In addition, the cigarette industry in Kudus also supports school facilities and infrastructure. This makes the researchers want to know the picture of non-smoking education at the Muhammadiyah Kudus School. The subjects were PDM cadres in Kudus City, Muhammadiyah Teachers and Muhammadiyah High School Principals in Kudus. Data were retrieved by using observation and interview technique. The results of this study were (1) Some teachers have a dilemma to convey strict smoking ban in schools because Cigarette industry has a big role in the development of Muhammadiyah schools; (2) The punishment for students who smoke remains strictly enforced in all three schools; (3) Educators are trying to be role models through not showing smoking behavior in schools; (4) The School Party does not cooperate with parents to prohibit students smoking outside school; (5) There is no difference in the smoking ban regulations in the three Muhammadiyah Schools before and after the Fatwa Haram issued by Majelis Trajih and Tajdid Muhammadiyah Central Executive.

The Cinderella Complex is a network of attitudes and fears, most of which are repressed, that prevent women from fully utilizing their intellectual abilities and creativity. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-concept and the tendency of the Cinderella Complex among female students living away from home in Banda Aceh. This research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The measurement instruments used were the Self-Concept Scale, developed by the researcher based on the aspects proposed by Calhoun and Acocella (1990), and the Cinderella Complex Scale, which was constructed based on the aspects suggested by Dowling (1995). The study involved 200 female students who were living independently in Banda Aceh. The sampling method used was non-probability sampling with the purposive sampling technique. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Spearman correlation test. The results showed a correlation coefficient of r = -0.426 with a significance value (ρ) = 0.000, indicating a highly significant negative relationship between self-concept and the tendency of the Cinderella Complex. This means that the higher the level of self-concept, the lower the tendency toward the Cinderella Complex; conversely, the lower the self-concept, the higher the tendency toward the Cinderella Complex among female students living away from home in Banda Aceh.

Hardiness among Dental Health students at Poltekkes Kemenkes Aceh plays an important role in coping with academic stress. When students possess low levels of hardiness in dealing with stress during their academic journey, their ability to manage academic stress decreases, which can have a significant impact on their future. Academic stress refers to an individual's perception of academic stressors and how they respond to them. Hardiness is a set of attitudes and coping skills that help individuals transform potentially threatening situations into opportunities for personal growth by finding meaning behind the circumstances around them. Through this process, individuals can maintain optimal performance even under pressure while preserving their well-being. This study aims to determine the relationship between hardiness and academic stress among Dental Health students at Poltekkes Kemenkes Aceh. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The measurement instruments used were Maddi’s Hardiness Scale and Gadzella’s Academic Stress Scale. The study population consisted of 221 students, with a sample of 135 students selected using probability sampling with the stratified random sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman correlation test. The results indicated a significant negative relationship between hardiness and academic stress, meaning that the higher the level of hardiness, the lower the level of academic stress, and conversely, the lower the hardiness, the higher the academic stress.

In early adulthood, individuals face a psychological developmental task of seeking and finding a potential life partner. During this stage, individuals may experience anxiety about marriage, as they transition from singlehood to becoming a husband or wife — a change that requires continuous adjustment throughout married life. When facing marriage, individuals often feel uncertain about what to do and how to prepare themselves. The lack of clarity about what will happen after marriage can lead to marital anxiety, which generally reflects concerns that one’s duties and responsibilities will increase or change after entering married life. The purpose of this study was to determine gender differences in marriage anxiety among emerging adults in Krueng Barona Jaya District, Aceh Besar Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach using a comparative method, with sampling conducted through the quota sampling technique. The study involved 150 emerging adults as participants. The instruments used were the Marriage Anxiety Scale and a gender questionnaire. The results showed a value of t = -2.775 and p = 0.007, indicating a significant difference in marriage anxiety between male and female emerging adults. The mean score for males was 92.53 (SD = 10.30), while for females it was 97.03 (SD = 5.6), showing that female emerging adults experience higher levels of marriage anxiety than males. Therefore, the research hypothesis was accepted.
