The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of cloud-based digital learning platforms, especially Google Classroom, as the main medium in online learning. This study aims to examine the influence of the use of cloud computing in Google Classroom on the effectiveness of online learning in the COVID-19 generation in Bogor City. A quantitative approach was used with the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method to analyze data collected from 57 respondents through a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale. The measurement model was evaluated through validity and reliability tests, while the structural model was analyzed using the path coefficient and the determination coefficient (R-square). The results showed that the use of cloud computing in Google Classroom had a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of online learning, with a path coefficient value of 0.640. The R-square value of 0.410 indicates that cloud computing is able to explain 41.0% of the variation in online learning effectiveness. These findings indicate that cloud-based learning platforms have an important role in supporting the effectiveness of online learning, especially for students whose learning experiences are greatly influenced by the pandemic. This research contributes to the digital learning literature by presenting empirical evidence from the local Indonesian context and offers practical implications for educational institutions in optimizing cloud-based learning systems.
