Abstract

Digital transformation is a strategic step for small-scale business units, including student business units, in improving operational efficiency and the quality of administrative governance. This study aims to analyze the application of digital transformation in the Business Stall of Business (SOB) Faculty of Economics and Business, Ibn Khaldun University (FEB UIKA) Bogor through the adoption of cloud computing technology with a case study of the use of Google Drive. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research method to test the influence between variables based on the causal relationship formulated in the research model. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires to members of the Stall of Business Business Unit who are members of the Economic Creative team, focusing on the data management process and coordination between divisions before and after the implementation of Google Drive. The results of the study show that the migration from manual data management systems to cloud-based systems has a significant positive impact. The implementation of Google Drive is able to improve data accessibility, strengthen document security, and increase the efficiency of real-time team collaboration. In addition, the use of Google Drive has been proven to minimize the risk of data loss and speed up the coordination process between divisions. This study concludes that the use of simple cloud computing technology, such as Google Drive, is an effective solution for campus business units in supporting digital transformation and creating more professional and integrated administrative governance.

Abstract

Digital transformation encourages MSMEs to utilize technology that is able to improve operational efficiency, one of which is through the application of cloud computing. This study aims to analyze the influence of the application of cloud computing on the operational efficiency of MSMEs in the era of digital transformation. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a Likert scale questionnaire survey (1-5) to 37 MSME actors who use cloud-based services/applications. Data were analyzed using the PLS-SEM method with the help of SmartPLS 4 through the evaluation of the outer model (validity and reliability) and the inner model (hypothesis testing). The results of the analysis showed that the indicators met the criteria of validity and reliability, and the application of cloud computing had a positive and significant effect on the operational efficiency of MSMEs (β = 0.883; t = 15.381; p < 0.001). These findings indicate that the better the implementation of cloud services in business activities, the higher the operational efficiency felt by MSME actors. This study recommends MSMEs to expand the use of cloud applications according to operational needs, accompanied by increasing digital literacy and attention to data security.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of cloud-based digital learning platforms, especially Google Classroom, as the main medium in online learning. This study aims to examine the influence of the use of cloud computing in Google Classroom on the effectiveness of online learning in the COVID-19 generation in Bogor City. A quantitative approach was used with the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method to analyze data collected from 57 respondents through a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale. The measurement model was evaluated through validity and reliability tests, while the structural model was analyzed using the path coefficient and the determination coefficient (R-square). The results showed that the use of cloud computing in Google Classroom had a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of online learning, with a path coefficient value of 0.640. The R-square value of 0.410 indicates that cloud computing is able to explain 41.0% of the variation in online learning effectiveness. These findings indicate that cloud-based learning platforms have an important role in supporting the effectiveness of online learning, especially for students whose learning experiences are greatly influenced by the pandemic. This research contributes to the digital learning literature by presenting empirical evidence from the local Indonesian context and offers practical implications for educational institutions in optimizing cloud-based learning systems.

Abstract

Distance learning is one of the learning methods that are widely applied in universities as a solution to the limitations of face-to-face learning. The use of digital technology is the main means of supporting the online learning process, one of which is through the Zoom Cloud Meeting application. This study aims to find out the role of Zoom Cloud Meeting in supporting distance learning in the Digital Business Study Program, Ibn Khaldun University Bogor. The research method used is quantitative with survey techniques. The research sample amounted to 65 students who were selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire that was distributed online with a 4-point Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method. The results of the study show that Zoom Cloud Meeting has a positive and significant effect on distance learning, with a path coefficient value of 0.619 and a significance value below 0.05. This shows that the use of Zoom Cloud Meeting is quite effective in supporting the distance learning process, especially in increasing student interaction, material understanding, and participation.
