Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes on Pancasila values through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the Pancasila Smart Card media and describe its application to grade IIA students of SD Negeri Pendrikan Lor 03, Semarang. This study uses Classroom Action Research which is carried out in two cycles, with each cycle including the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection is carried out through learning outcome tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show an increase in student learning outcomes. The average score increased from 55.36 in the pre-cycle to 70.36 in the first cycle and 85.00 in the second cycle. The completeness of learning increased from 10.71% in the pre-cycle to 82.14% in the first cycle and 100% in the second cycle. This study concludes that the implementation of PBL assisted by the Pancasila Smart Card can improve student learning outcomes in the material of Pancasila values.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve learning outcomes in Pancasila Education through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by educational card media among Class IIIB students at SD Negeri Pendrikan Lor 03. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 28 students. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and analyzed based on mean scores and classical mastery. Individual mastery was set at a minimum score of 70, with a research success criterion of at least 75% of students achieving mastery. The results showed that the mean score increased from 50.36 in the pre-cycle to 66.07 in Cycle I and 85.71 in Cycle II. Classical mastery increased from 0% in the pre-cycle to 67.86% in Cycle I and 100% in Cycle II. Therefore, the implementation of PBL assisted by educational card media improved students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education and achieved the predetermined research success criterion.
