Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of guided discovery-based e-modules on the mastery of factual, contextual and procedural knowledge of "digestive organs" in fifth grade elementary school students. This research is quantitative research. The subjects of this research were 23 students of SDN 04 Bengkulu Selatan class VB and 23 VC students. This research uses pretest and posttest questions on factual, context and procedural knowledge. The research results showed that the N-Gain value for factual knowledge was 65.5 in the medium category, the N-Gain value for conceptual knowledge was 59.5 in the medium category, the N-Gain value for procedural knowledge was 52 in the medium category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of learning using science guided discovery-based e-modules on the mastery of factual, conceptual and procedural knowledge.

Abstract

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has significantly influenced the modernization of public sector financial systems, particularly in regional financial governance. In Indonesia, the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) was introduced to meet the demand for integrated, transparent, and accountable financial management. This study aims to analyze the implementation of SIPD in the cash management process at the West Java Provincial Library and Archives Service. Specifically, it investigates the application of SIPD, identifies operational challenges, and evaluates its effectiveness in supporting financial governance. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, utilizing in depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that although SIPD has been implemented in accordance with applicable regulations, several challenges persist, such as unstable internet connectivity, inadequate user training, and limitations in system features. These limitations include the absence of data correction tools and the lack of tax integration. Such constraints reduce the system’s effectiveness and result in continued reliance on manual processes. This study emphasizes the importance of enhancing technical infrastructure and improving user competence as strategic steps to optimize the role of SIPD in strengthening regional financial performance and ensuring the quality of public financial management.

Abstract

Background : Hypertension is a chronic condition that requires long-term medication adherence to prevent serious cardiovascular complications. Adequate knowledge about treatment is an important prerequisite for patients to achieve optimal adherence. Pharmacists play a crucial role in providing education and advice through medication counseling. Objective : This review aims to synthesize evidence narratively regarding the effect of counseling interventions conducted by pharmacists on improving patients' knowledge about hypertension treatment Research Methods/ Implementation Methods : This narrative review was conducted by tracing various relevant research articles. Article searches were carried out on the PubMed, Google Scholar, and ResearchGate databases, with publications from 2011 to 2022. The main keywords used included "pharmacist counseling," "medication knowledge," and "hypertension." Article criteria included medication counseling provided by pharmacists to patients. Inclusion criteria for articles were knowledge level as an outcome, articles written in Indonesian or English, and being full-text articles. After screening based on the criteria, 15 research articles were selected for narrative analysis. Results : The results of the literature review from 15 analyzed articles consistently show that counseling provided by pharmacists has a positive and significant impact on improving patients' knowledge about hypertension treatment. The majority of studies reported measurable increases in patients' understanding of dosage regimens, drug-food interactions, side effect management, and the importance of blood pressure monitoring. Effective counseling helps address knowledge gaps that often act as barriers to good medication adherence. This increase in knowledge is often an important initial step before achieving improved adherence and better blood pressure control Conclusion/Lesson Learned : Pharmacist counseling is an effective intervention in enhancing the knowledge of hypertensive patients about their medications. These findings recommend that the healthcare system optimize the role of pharmacists in patient education to achieve better treatment outcomes.

Abstract

This study seeks to dissect the operational patterns of cybercrimes that leverage deepfake technology, with a specific focus on fraud schemes that digitally superimpose the likeness of public figures onto deceptive content. Through a criminological lens, it explores the psychological and social drivers behind such acts, the multifaceted harms inflicted on victims and society, and the significant hurdles faced by Indonesian law enforcement in responding to these technologically advanced offenses. Employing a descriptive-analytical methodology, the research synthesizes case studies, legal document analysis, and theoretical frameworks to map the crime's ecosystem. The analysis uncovers a triad of enabling factors: a deficit in societal oversight that fails to curb digital misconduct, a social learning environment where deviant online behavior is acquired and normalized, and a critical regulatory vacuum that lacks laws specifically tailored to govern synthetic media. Presently, authorities are forced to apply existing statutes namely the Criminal Code (KUHP) and the Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) Law which are often ill suited to tackle the evidentiary and jurisdictional intricacies of deepfake fraud. Consequently, this research argues for a decisive, multi-layered counter-strategy. It underscores the imperative to elevate public digital literacy, empowering citizens to critically evaluate media. It calls for the drafting of agile, forward-looking regulations that directly address content provenance and accountability. Finally, it highlights the necessity of investing in advanced detection tools capable of identifying sophisticated forgeries in real-time, thereby forming a crucial bulwark against this evolving threat to digital trust and security.
