Abstract

Pertumbuhan Penduduk adalah banyak sedikitnya jumlah Penduduk pada suatu wilayah. Secara terus menerus penduduk akan dipengaruhi oleh bertambahnya jumlah kelahiran bayi (fertilitas), tetapi secara bersamaan pula akan dikurangi oleh jumlah kematian (mortalitas) yang terjadi pada semua golongan umur, serta migrasi juga berperan imigran (pendatang) akan menambah dan emigran akan mengurangi jum-lah penduduk. Tujuan pada Penelitian ini yaitu : 1) Untuk mengetahui analisis deskriptif terhadap data penduduk fertilitas, data penduduk mortalitas dan data penduduk migrasi, 2) Untuk mengetahui model regresi data panel yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan penduduk fertilitas, pertumbuhan penduduk mortalitas dan pertumbuhan penduduk migrasi. Pengujian asumsi model terpilih, melalui beberapa uji data memenuhi asumsi linieritas. Data berdistribusi normal, tidak terjadi autokorelasi, multikolieritas, dan data yang digunakan merupakan homokedastisitas yaitu varian residual bersifat konstan. Dari pemodelan menggunakan pendekatan Random Effect diketahui bahwa variabel Fertilitas, Mortalitas dan Migrasi secara Bersama sama mempengaruhi jumlah penduduk di Kecamatan Mataram Baru dengan sumbangan pengaruh sebesar 46.1% sementara sisanya 53.9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The dissemination activity of exploring damen (rice straw) waste as liquid organic fertilizer is a form of Tridharma of higher education for community service practiced by four lecturers. This activity has several main goals: increasing public awareness, particularly among residents of RT 20 Sadar Sriwijaya Village, Bandar Sribhawono District, about the importance of utilizing damen waste to be used as liquid organic fertilizer, rather than being thrown away or simply burned after the harvesting process is complete. Socialization activities are carried out in two ways: material delivery and practice daily. Based on the socialization, it was discovered that the participants achieved the socialization's objectives with good criteria in general. As a result, the public knowledge, particularly among residents of RT 20 Sadar Sriwijaya Village, Bandar Sribhawono District, East Lampung Regency, on the use of damen waste and chicken eggshell waste is still low, so socialization is required to raise awareness of the use of agricultural waste as fertilizer

Abstract

Completion of the curriculum on time is one of the important indicators of the success of the learning process. However, various factors such as material difficulty and external distractions often cause delays in curriculum completion. This study aims to model the delay in curriculum completion using Gamma distribution, with the research location at SMP Negeri 1 Melinting, East Lampung. Primary data is obtained from schools, while secondary data comes from related literature. This study uses Monte Carlo simulation based on Gamma distribution with the parameters of mean delay () and degree of variance (). The results showed an average delay of about 2.4 weeks, with the Gamma distribution matching the actual data based on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. These findings suggest that the Gamma distribution can be an effective prediction tool for modeling curriculum completion delays. Managerial recommendations include the preparation of flexible schedules and the use of simulation models for risk mitigation. Abstract

To foster the creativity of housewives, we, a community service team, intend to hold training on how to make spinach chips by empowering housewives in the Tejosari subdistrict, Metro Timur District. This service activity aims to provide training in processing spinach chips so as to increase economic income for housewives in the Tejosari Village, East Metro District. The methods used are the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation. The targets and objectives of this community service activity are housewives in the Tejosari Village, East Metro District. This training activity received a positive response from the people of Tejosari Village, East Metro District. The benefits of the activities that have been carried out can be felt directly by the community, especially in activities that can provide additional knowledge for the community or are educational in nature which will greatly influence changes in people's behavior and economic attitudes in everyday life.

Abstract

This community service program has the following objectives, namely, 1) To introduce the use of an Android Smartphone with the Android application in the process of teaching and learning activities in class for parents/guardians of Sidokerto Village, Bumi Ratu Nuban District, Bumi Ratu Nuban District, 2) To increase the use of Android smartphones with the Android application for Parents / Guardians of Sidokerto Urban Village, Bumi Ratu Nuban District. The results of this dedication show that there is high enthusiasm from the participants during the delivery of the material and practices that are carried out. Apart from being active in providing responses and asking the participants, it also shows that the presentation given has been directly practised in the process of teaching and learning activities that they carry out. In this case, the participants feel they have had new experiences in the teaching and learning process, so the hope is that it can foster enthusiasm for learning and student creativity so that it can improve student achievement. Abstrak: Program pengabdian pada masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan yaitu, 1) Untuk mengenalkan pemanfaatan Smartphone android dengan aplikasi andorid dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas pada Orang Tua/Wali Murid Kelurahan Sidokerto Kecamatan Bumi Ratu Nuban, 2) Untuk peningkatan penggunaan pemanfaatan Smartphone android dengan aplikasi andorid bagi Orang Tua/Wali Murid Kelurahan Sidokerto Kecamatan Bumi Ratu Nuban. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya antusias yang tinggi dari peserta, selama penyampaian materi dan praktik yang dilakukan. Selain aktif memberikan tanggapan dan bertanya para peserta juga menunjukkan bahwa pemaparan yang disampaikan sudah dipraktikkan secara langsung dalam proses kegiatan belajar-mengajar yang mereka lakukan. Dalam hal ini peserta merasa mendapat pengalaman baru dalam proses belajar-mengajar, maka harapannya dapat menumbuhkan semangat belajar dan kreativitas siswa sehingga dapat meningkatkan prestasi siswa.

Abstract

Global climate change and rising extreme weather events necessitate mitigation efforts using precise data. This community service program introduces a rainfall prediction model based on the Tweedie Mixture with PCA reduction at BMKG Lampung. The model addresses asymmetric rainfall data, which often contains many zero values, while optimizing predictor data through PCA-based dimension reduction. Conducted at BMKG’s Climatology Station in Lampung, the program engaged employees and technical staff through workshops, training, and prediction simulations. Participants learned the Tweedie Mixture and PCA theory, statistical software usage, and model applications for climate risk mitigation, such as planting schedules and water management. Evaluations show the Tweedie Mixture outperforms conventional methods in accuracy, enhancing BMKG’s climate analysis and weather forecasting.
