Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine whether vocabulary abilities in mathematics learning after applying the QuizWhizzer media are better than vocabulary abilities in mathematics learning before applying the QuizWhizzer media. This research is experimental research. The population in this study were class XIII students at Al Mi'raj Talang Middle School. Meanwhile, the sample in this research was class VIII A. The data collection techniques in this research were tests and documentation. The test is used to determine vocabulary abilities in learning mathematics. Documentation is used to find out student data and photos of activities. Data analysis techniques are prerequisite tests: normality and homogeneity tests, data analysis tests: paired sample t test. Vocabulary abilities in mathematics learning after the application of the QuizWhizzer media are better than vocabulary abilities in mathematics learning before the application of the QuizWhizzer media .

Abstract

The case of Covid-19 affects the world of education. One of the consequences is that learning to be carried out online is decided by the Indonesian government. However, in learning, this strategy is burdensome for learners. The goal of this case study is to find out student opinions on online applications are used, what their challenges are, and what online learning expectations of students are. This research uses a questionnaire to find out student opinions using a Google form. Ninety-two students from various universities were the number of respondents. To get results, the questionnaires that have been collected are evaluated manually. The outcome of this study is that most of the software used by lecturers was unable to enhance the comprehension of the content being learned by students. During this pandemic, the hope of students in learning is to increase discussion time and time to complete assignments, not too many assignments, and the strategy of the university to have internet quota buying subsidies

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Ceramah Plus Tanya jawab dan Tugas (CPTT) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis ditinjau dari self-confidence. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experimental design. Subyek Penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Peradaban semester II Tahun Akademik 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 15 mahasiswa. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di Universitas Peradaban. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi, lembar tes dan lembar angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dijelaskan bahwa salahsatu faktor yang mempengaruhinya adalah faktor keaktifan dalam pembelajaran menggunakan metode Ceramah Plus Tanya jawab dan Tugas (CPTT). Hasil yang dapat dilihat pada tabel hasil interpretasi self-confidence mahasiswa memperoleh hasil yang paling banyak berada dalam kategori sedang.

Abstract

Understanding of arithmetic students in Arabic learning is still low. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Direct Method in learning Arabic number material in Arabic understanding Arithmetic Students. The approach used is experimental research approach with Posttest-Only Control Design. The population and sample of the study were determined through the Random Sampling technique. Analysis of the data used included normality test, homogeneity test, average similarity test, completeness test, and comparative test. (1) the arithmetic understanding of students taught by the Direct Method in learning ‘Adad dan Ma’dud material can exceed the Standard of Minimum Mastery (KKM) of 76,87, (2) the arithmetic understanding of students taught by the Direct Method is 76,87 higher than from the conventional models 65,32. Then it can be concluded that the Direct Method is effective in understanding arithmetic in learning ‘Adad dan Ma’dud material. The novelty of this research is that using the Direct Method can facilitate a direct understanding of 'adad and ma'dud.This research contributes in Arabic teaching by using the Direct Method in the material 'Adad and Ma'dud to improve students' arithmetic understanding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan mahasiswa berdasarkan prosedur Newman dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita Newman ditinjau dari gaya Kognitif mahasiswa dan mendeskripsikan penyebab kesalahan mahasiswa berdasarkan prosedur Newman dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita ditinjau dari gaya Kognitif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester VI tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes, observasi, wawancaara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, mahasiswa tipe field independent (FI) melakukan kesalahan memahami masalah, ketrampilan proses dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan tipe field dependent (FD) melakukan kesalahan memahami masalah, kesalahan transformasi ketrampilan proses, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Penyebab kesalahan-kesalahan berdasarkan prosedur Newman ditinjau dari gaya kognitif adalah tidak dapat memahami soal dengan baik, kurangnya penguasaan materi, masih bingung langkah untuk mengerjakan soal, kehabisan waktu untuk menyelesaikan soal, kurang teliti dalam mengerjakan soal, terburu-buru dalam mengerjakan soal, tidak sempat menuliskan kesimpulan, tidak terbiasa menuliskan kesimpulan.Keywords: Analisis Kesalahan Teori Newman, Gaya Kognitif.
