Abstract

The rapid growth of digitalization has made digital marketing crucial for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, many MSMEs in Siak Regency have not fully utilized digital marketing strategies, limiting their market competitiveness. This community service aims to enhance digital marketing skills among MSMEs through training and mentoring. The method used is a participatory approach, providing training on digital literacy, social media usage, and e-commerce platforms. Continuous mentoring ensures that participants can apply the strategies learned to their business activities. The results of this community service show a significant improvement in digital marketing skills among participants, contributing to increased sales and market reach of MSMEs. Additionally, active participation in training and support from academics fostered a more adaptable business ecosystem towards technological changes. Thus, this program successfully helped MSMEs in Siak Regency become more competitive in both local and national markets.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang berkualitas merupakan fondasi utama dalam menunjang pembangunan berkelanjutan, sebagaimana ditegaskan dalam poin ke-4 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Namun, perkembangan teknologi membawa tantangan baru, khususnya fenomena cyberbullying yang semakin marak di kalangan anak-anak usia sekolah dasar. Kondisi ini tidak hanya mengganggu perkembangan psikologis anak, tetapi juga berpotensi menghambat tercapainya pendidikan yang aman dan inklusif. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan sosialisasi mengenai pemahaman cyberbullying dan etika bersosial media dilaksanakan di SDN 41 Pekanbaru sebagai upaya preventif sekaligus edukatif. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan yang komprehensif kepada siswa-siswi mengenai bahaya cyberbullying, cara menghindarinya, serta pentingnya bersikap bijak dalam menggunakan media sosial. Selain itu, kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu menanamkan kesadaran literasi digital sejak dini agar sejalan dengan pencapaian poin SDGs 4, yaitu pendidikan berkualitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi langsung, wawancara, pre-test, penyampaian materi interaktif, hingga post-test. Proses sosialisasi dilakukan secara bertahap selama tiga minggu, melibatkan 60 siswa/i kelas 5 dan 6 sebagai partisipan utama. Materi yang diberikan meliputi pemahaman cyberbullying, penipuan daring, serta konsep cakap bersosial media. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa secara signifikan. Pre-test memperlihatkan mayoritas siswa belum memahami sepenuhnya tentang cyberbullying maupun etika digital. Namun, setelah rangkaian sosialisasi, hasil post-test memperlihatkan mayoritas siswa/i mampu mengenali bentuk cyberbullying, mengetahui langkah pencegahan, serta menunjukkan sikap lebih bijak dalam bersosial media. Kesimpulannya, sosialisasi ini berhasil menumbuhkan pemahaman baru dan menjadi sarana internalisasi norma positif bagi siswa/i SDN 41 Pekanbaru. Dengan kolaborasi sekolah, orang tua, dan tim pengajar, kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan literasi digital anak, tetapi juga memperkuat upaya pencapaian pendidikan berkualitas dalam kerangka SDGs.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memegang peran strategis dalam pembangunan ekonomi nasional, namun masih menghadapi kendala terutama dalam aspek pemasaran. Pelaku UMKM di Gerai Kembang Setaman, Kelurahan Tirtasiak, Pekanbaru, masih mengandalkan metode konvensional sehingga jangkauan pasar terbatas, sementara konsumen saat ini menggunakan media online untuk membeli produk. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan program pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan digital marketing. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tahapan observasi kebutuhan, sosialisasi materi, pelatihan teknik pengambilan gambar dan praktik public speaking untuk mendukung promosi melalui live streaming. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pendampingan berupa pengambilan foto produk, penyusunan katalog digital berbahasa Indonesia dan Inggris, serta pembuatan akun Shopee sebagai saluran pemasaran baru. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai pentingnya digital marketing, keterampilan dalam pembuatan konten promosi, serta kepercayaan diri dalam memasarkan produk secara digital. Meskipun sebagian peserta masih membutuhkan pendampingan lanjutan pada aspek teknis, kegiatan ini terbukti mendorong UMKM lokal untuk beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi, membuka peluang pasar yang lebih luas, serta mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) khususnya pada aspek Pekerjaan Layak dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi.

Abstract

Bugis tribe is an ethnic group that has long lived in the area of South Sulawesi. The area where the Bugis tribe resides in the central part of South Sulawesi makes this tribe in direct contact with other tribes residing in the province. For Bugis society, marriage means taking each other or Bugisnya siala '. One of the marriage customs in this Bugis Tribe is Money Panai ', where this tradition of the groom brings a certain amount of money to the prospective bride who will be used for the purpose of holding weddings and other wedding expenses. As for one film that raised the value of traditional / original culture is the film Money Panai = Maha (l) r. This study aims to determine the meaning of denotation, connotation and myths in the film Money Panai = Maha (l) r, knowing Bugis-Makassar Cultural Representation shown in Money Money Panai = Maha (l) r. This research uses qualitative research type with semiolysis analsis approach Roland Barthes. Subjects in this study are Scene-Scene in the Money Money Movement = Maha (l) r Makkita Cinema Production production in collaboration with 786 Productions. This study uses data collection techniques through documentation and literature study. To achieve the validity of data in this study, the authors use triangulation techniques. The results show that there are three corresponding meanings in Roland Barthes's semiotics. The meaning of denotation contained in the scene of the Money Panai film = = Maha (l) r describes the character of the bugis-makassar community as the Perantau, Asking for Opinion and Restu, Penjajakan, Kinship, Proposal, and Self-Esteem. Meaning of connotation gained in this film in the form of action figures, meaning of utterance based on implicit meaning in dialogue that presented depict value, custom, kinship and moral message. The meaning of myth / ideology contained in several scenes is interpreted through literature review on the culture of bugis-makassar that understand the values of customs, and culture of Self-esteem or siri 'which has been inherited and entrenched among the people of bugis-makassar. Abstract

Radio El John 102.6 FM is one of the senior radio that has long aired in Pekanbaru, in the face of the development of radio age El John 102.6 FM has its own strategy in maintaining its existence in the midst of an increasingly sophisticated media development. Advertisers are the largest source of revenue from a radio company, for it to establish good relationships with the clients of advertisers is something that must be done by radio El John 102.6 FM in an effort to realize its communication strategy. This study aims to determine the strategy of selecting communicators, knowing the message processing strategy, knowing the media selection strategy, and knowing the strategy in determining the target of radio communication El John 102.6 M Pekanbaru in maintaining the advertiser.This research was conducted in Radio El John 102.6 FM which is located at Jl. Soekarno Hatta Pekanbaru, SKA MAL Blok H 102. Research subjects are determined based on purposive techniques consisting of Marketing, General Manager, and Radio Producer. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation.The results show that the communication strategy of El John 102.6 FM Pekanbaru radio in maintaining advertisers by establishing personal relationships with advertiser clients. The strategy used by El Jhon radio 102.6 FM is first by determining the communicator, who is appointed as a communicator is Marketing, General Manager, Radio Producer who has credibility in interacting with clients. Secondly with a messaging plan that includes both informative and persuasive messages, the third with media such as print and internet, the fourth with a communication audience is an advertiser client that has been working more than 3 months or so-called contract clients.

Abstract

The history of television in Indonesia began in 1962, with the stipulation of the Minister of Information Decree No. 190A / KEP / Menpen / 1987 on limited channel broadcasts. This triggered the presence of local television ready to present broadcasts, information and culture from the region itself. Dumai Vision is one of the longest local television in Dumai City and still exists to this day. The purpose of this research is to know how Dumai Vision strategy in maintaining its existence as a local television in Dumai City. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The object of this research is the local television Dumai Vision maintains its existence. The subjects of the study consisted of six persons selected using purposive techniques determined based on the criteria of informants who understood the local television part of Dumai Vision. Techniques of collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study apply the theory of media ecology by Dimmick and Rothenbuhler which reveal that in order to maintain its existence, the media need the main life support sources namely, types of content (type of media content), types of audience (capital target audience) and capital (advertising revenue). In maintaining its presence in the local broadcasting industry in Dumai City, Dumai Vision runs a variety of strategies including: 1) Does a television program strategy, 2) Does strategy to attract viewers, 3) Does strategy to getting profit. Abstract

Mural usually used as room decoration and now more used as a conveyor of aspiration. Like the murals with anti-corruption theme created by the Peviart Community. This mural contains criticism and message to eliminate the culture of corruption in Bumi Lancang Kuning. The problem of corruption is a complex problem that often happens and now keep increasing. Therefore, this study aims to determine the meaning of anti-corruption contained in the mural by Peviart community in Pekanbaru City.This research uses qualitative research methods and supported by the theory of semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Pierce. Subjects in this study were determined based on purposive sampling technique consisting of three mural images entitled #SAVEUANGMAMAK, Mewah Karena Korupsi, and Asingkan Koruptor dari Muka Bumi. The data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique used is Charles Sanders Peirce’s analysis of semiology with triadic models, where the representament, object and interpretant have mutually fulfilling relationship strength and advantages with data validity checking done using triangulation techniques.The results of this research show that the Peviart Community mural in terms of shape, color, and illustration has the meaning of corruption and anti corruption behavior itself. In the mural entitled #SAVEUANGMAMAK and Mewah Karena Korupsi shows more of the meaning of corruption, this act of corruption is shown so that people who see it do not commit the act of corruption. While on the mural entitled Asingkan Koruptor dari Muka Bumi show more anti-corruption meaning, the meaning shown is the corruptor that must be eradicated and the role of KPK in combating corruption. Overall, the anti-corruption semiotics analysis in the three mural images of the peviart community is a corrupt person who has a fat body, corruption to enrich himself, corruption done by officials, yellow as a symbol of wealth, and the KPK as a symbol of anti-corruption. Keywords: Analysis, Semiotics, Peirce’s Semiotic, Mural, Anti-corruption.
