Abstract

One way to improve the competence of college graduates can be done by giving motivation to students to become entrepreneurs. In addition to improving student competency, entrepreneurship is also one of the efforts of universities to reduce the unemployment rate of college graduates. For this reason, interest in entrepreneurship among academics must be increased because it has a large contribution to the progress of a nation. This study aims to review the interests of student entrepreneurship from contextual factors.The population in this study were students in Surabaya with a sample size of 100. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling and data analysis using SEM. The results of this study are: There is a positive and significant influence of contextual factors on the interest in entrepreneurship. Based on the standardized results the parameter coefficient of 0.955 is significant at 0.001 (p = ***).

Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyze the influence of age, sex and religiousity on leadership style. Dependen variabel in this research is leadership style and independen variabel in this research are sex, age and religiousity. The samplein this study are worker who have subordinate to do dialy job. The method use is the multiple linier analysis regresion. The result of thi study indicate that age, sex and religousity have direct influence on leadership style. Age has dominan influence on leadership style, and than religiousty has secound dominan influence on leadership style. Sex has little influence on leadership style. From this analysis can be know that whatever gander of leader as long as more spiritual experince, more mature person is shown by life experince they owen, they will more wise in applying leadersip style. Leader will support their subordinate for improve their self potential.

Abstract

The tourism sektor is a potential sektor to be developed as one of the sources of income from the original district of Gresik. One of the potential tourism sektors developed in Gresik Regency is culinary tourism. This is due to the many unique and popular culinary from Gresik Regency which has distinctive flavors and made from local ingredients. Making culinary as the main subject in increasing tourism is not an impossible thing to do in Gresik regency, this is because from year to year the number of tourist visits in Gresik district continues to increase. Increasing the number of tourists is a potential that can be used by the Gresik district government to introduce and increase tourist interest in the culinary district of Gresik. The distinctive and popular culinary types in Gresik regency that can be developed include pudak cakes, cubung, ayas, jadah, bonggolan, rumo porridge and salty porridge, krawu rice, processed cross-fish and milk fish, processed fish eggs, intestine martabak, pentol, tofu pickles, sego karak and so forth. Therefore, in this study to formulate strategies that can be done to improve culinary tourism in Gresik district, SWOT analysis is used. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, it is found that the strategy that can be done to improve culinary tourism in Gresik Regency is to innovate the products produced, optimize tourist attractions to introduce distinctive and popular culinary in Gresik district, and optimize the existing tourism platform, SIPATUGT.

Abstract

This study aims to review the interests of student entrepreneurship from contextual factors and personal factors. The population in this study was students in East Java with a total sample of 125. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling and data analysis using SEM. The results of this study are: 1) there is an influence of the contextual factors on the interest in entrepreneurship. This is based on standardized output parameter coefficient of 0.524 with p= *** (significant at p = 0.001). 2) There is an influence of personality factors on the interest in entrepreneurship. This is indicated by the standardized output parameter coefficient of 0.472 which is significant at p = 0.001 (p = ***). The conclusion of this study is contextual factors and personality factors influence the interest in student entrepreneurship.Keywords: interest in entrepreneurship, contextual factors, personality factors, student’s entrepreneurship, improve student competency

Abstract

This community service activity is continuously carried out to develop the creativity of mothers in producing innovative and attractive products. This activity involves training and assistance in preparing financial and marketing reports. This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Sukolilo District and STIESIA Surabaya. MSMEs in Sukolilo District experienced several obstacles related to preparing financial reports, marketing that utilized social media, and other technical obstacles. After this mentoring activity, MSME managers gained several benefits, including having started compiling financial reports. Marketing training activities are carried out using Instagram social media as a means of producing products. In this activity, assistance was carried out to create an Instagram account, taking photos of products to be uploaded on Instagram, assisting in uploading product photos on Instagram accompanied by product descriptions so that they could attract consumers. This activity is carried out to improve the business carried out from the management aspect. The target to be achieved is that MSME players have financial reports that can be used to submit funds or capital to banks for business development, expand marketing networks, and increase sales.

Abstract

Adanya peningkatan atas output yang dihasilkan dalam kegiatan ekonomi di provinsi Jawa Timur merupakan suatu indikator yang penting bagi proses pembangunan ekonomi di provinsi Jawa Timur. Terdapat beberapa faktor penting yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi di provinsi Jawa Timur diantaranya jumlah UMKM dan tingkat teknolgi yang digunakan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh jumlah UMKM dan tingkat teknolgi yang digunakan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di provinsi Jawa Timur. Pada penelitian ini variabel idenpendennya adalah jumlah UMKM dan tingkat teknologi yang digunakan. Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi provinsi Jawa Timur. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi liner berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diadapatkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara jumlah UMKM dan tingkat teknolgi yang digunakan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi provinsi Jawa Timur. Semakin banyak jumlah UMKM yang ada maka semakin tinggi tingkat pertumbuan ekonomi. Semakin tinggi tingkat teknologi yang digunakan maka pertumbuhan ekonomi akan semakin tinggi

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh leadership style terhadap management control system dengan teknologi informasi dan organizational culture sebagai variabel mediasi. Objek penelitian ini adalah UMKM sektor garmen yang ada di Kabupaten Gresik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah leadership style dapat secara langsung mempengaruhi management control systemUMKM sektor garmen yang ada di Kabupaten Gresik serta apakah variabel teknologi informasi dan organizational culture dapat memediasi pengaruh leadership style terhadap management control system. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah SEM (Structure Equation Model). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa leadership style tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap managemen control system, namun leadership style dapat mempengaruhi management control system melalui variabel mediasi teknologi informasi dan organizational culture. Teknologi informasi yang digunakan tidak berpengaruh terhadap organizational culture.

Abstract

Pandemi mengajarkan banyak hal baru pada semua aspek kehidupan termasuk di dalamnya kegiatan bisnis. Pada saat sebelum pandemi kegiatan bisnis kerajinan dalam pemasarannya lebih banyak dilakukan secara konvensional yaitu bertemu langsung antara pelaku UMKM dengan konsumen. Pada awal sampai pertengahan pandemi pelaku UMKM masih belum terbiasa melakukan kegiatan bisnis secara online sehingga usaha yang dijalankan mengalami penurunan omset penjualan. Salah satu cara untuk mempertahankan bisnis melalui inovasi pemasaran produk dengan menggunakan sosial media yang dilengkapi dengan informasi produk yang singkat, padat, jelas dan menarik. Para pelaku UMKM merasa belum terbiasa dan kurang memahami cara pemasaran online yang tepat. Oleh karena itu pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan kegiatan pelatihan pemasaran online dan pendampingan pembuatan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi yang baru. Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilakukan denga memanfaatkan media sosial seperti whatsapp, facebook, dan Instagram. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dan monitoring para pelaku merasa lebih nyaman menggunakan whatsapp status dalam memasarkan produknya di-bandingkan dengan menggunakan facebook dan Instagram. Menurut pelaku UMKM menggunakan whatsapp status jauh lebih mudah, efektif dan efisien karena dengan hanya membuka whatsapp  pelaku UMKM dapat langsung berkomunikasi dengan calon pembeli maupun dengan pihak lainnya. Satu aplikasi semua kegiatan dapat dilakukan sehingga dirasa lebih efektif dan efisien dari sisi waktu.

Abstract

Poverty reduction is a government program that is carried out annually. Various efforts were made to reduce poverty levels. One of the efforts that has been taken was to continue to maintain economic growth so that it continued to increase and grow. The existence of economic growth indicates a cycle of economic activity. One of the most important production factors for economic growth is the use of labor absorbed in economic sectors. If a large number of labor are absorbed in production activities, there is an increase in income in the family. The greater one's income level, the more one's welfare level increases. The increase in welfare that exists in society indicates that the poverty level is getting smaller. This research was conducted to test empirically on this matter. In this study, path analysis was used to determine the role of economic structure in reducing poverty with economic growth as a mediating variable. The results of this study indicated that economic growth can mediate the economic structure in reducing poverty levels through the absorption of labor in economic sectors and the resulting increase in output in each economic sector.
