Abstract

                  Learning is a key activity of the educational process. Researchers conducted observations in class VIII SMP Islam Al-Mursyidiyah Virgin and approximately 85% of the data obtained shows student scores ? 70. This study aimed to determine Increased Activity and Student Results in studying the digestive system in humans with type STAD cooperative learning model. Type of research is a classroom action research (CAR). The procedure used is the model cycle Based on these results, the percentage of student learning activities in the first cycle of 82% and a second cycle of 93%. While the results of daily tests of students in the first cycle obtained average value 77.36, while on the second cycle of 86.05. It is proved that the activity and student learning outcomes can be improved with the implementation of cooperative learning model type STAD. For a particular subject, type STAD Cooperative Learning Model is used to avoid boredom in learning activities.Keywords: Type STAD Cooperative Learning, Learning Activity, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Has conducted research aimed to analyze the factors that cause learning difficulties in physics in integrated science subjects Biology Education majors, especially students of 6th semester of 2013/2014. The instrument in this study is a questionnaire Physics student learning difficulties. Based on the data and the results of the data analysis that the factors that cause learning difficulties Biological physics student education is a very influential factor on the internal aspects of interest precisely with the percentage of 81.5% and the effect of influential factors with the largest percentage of the motivational aspects of 78.6%. External factors that affect the largest percentage of the aspects of learning methods varied by 79% and fascinating aspects of the media on the indicator with a percentage of 80%.

Abstract

Energy can to inspect from Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. Energy formed alteration process that alteration space is human body. Energy alteration to consist of potential and mechanic energy. Energy inside human body unpermanent appearance but to depend on situation, position, body movement, and surrounding environtment. One of something kinetic energy is a termal energy element to mention temperature. Different temperature from one substance to other formed transmition termal energy to mention a heat through some mechanism is conduction, convection, and evaporation.Key word: energy, human body, and termal.

Abstract

Media dalam dunia pendidikan digunakan sebagai alat dan bahan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk memberikan informasi dari guru  ke siswa. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, diperoleh data hasil belajar siswa masih rendah yaitu sekitar 40 % masih di bawah KKM. Jenis penelitian ini adalah PTK. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan kuatitatif, sedangkan metode pengumpulan data diperoleh dari tes objektif dan dokumentasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan Media Peta Jelajah Taman Botani. Dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 29 orang. Berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh hasil rata-rata nilai kognitif siswa 87,6 meningkat menjadi 95,9 pada siklus II. Sedangkan hasil nilai ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 96,5% meningkat menjadi 100%  pada siklus II. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran melalui penerapan media Peta Jelajah Taman Botani sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar, Peta Jelajah, Taman Botani.

Abstract

Sukorambi Botanical Garden is a natural tourist spot for flora and fauna with a land area of ​​about 12 hectares. In this location, there are about 500 types of plants ranging from lower-grade plants to higher-grade plants. The existence of seed plants (Spermatophyta) of habitus tree in the Botanical Garden has been identified, but there are some plants whose species are not yet known. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The method used in this research is a survey method. The research data were analyzed descriptively and identified to the genus level. The results showed that there were 66 genera of seed plants (Spermatophyta) belonging to 30 families. These families are Achariaceae, Anarcadiacea, Annonaceae, Apocynaceae, Araucariaceae, Arecaceae, Bignoniaceae, Burseraceae, Clusiaceae, Ebenaceae, Fabaceae, Gnetaceae, Lamiaceae, Lauraceae, Lythraceae, Malvaceae, Meliaceae, Mimosaceae, Moraceae, Moringaceae, Myristicaceae, Oxalidaceae, Rutaceae, Sapindaceae, Sapotaceae, and Thymelaeaceae. The results of identification can be used as a learning resource to support the Plant Taxonomy course.
