Abstract

Abstrack: This research is an ex post facto, meaning that the data collected after all the events that happened note. This study aims to determine the quality of the best items semester chemical subjects exam. The sample in this study is the second semester exam of class XI IPA SMA N 1 Peranap academic year 2013/2014. The variables measured in this study a qualitative analysis,the level of difficulty, distinguishing features, functions distractor, validity and realibility. Based on the results of analysis show that about qualitative term is 18 rejected, 8 matter retified, 14 received . While quantitative terms, the level of difficulty, distinguishing is less, and distractor function is less proportionately too, but of validity is sufficient . Only the value r11 = 0,6, indicating that this matter has not been reliable. Semester exam class XI IPA SMA N 1 Peranap needs a lot of improvement both in terms qualitatife or quantitative.Keywords : analysis, qualitative, quantitative, distractor, validity, realibility.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbons inclass X Senior High School (SMAN) 4 Pekanbaru. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample was determined after doing normality and homogeneity test of 9 classes as population and then class X9 as experiment class and X7 as control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied to Reciprocal Teaching models while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test and N-gain normalized test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount> ttable is 4.93>1.67, means that the application of Reciprocal Teaching models can improve student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbons in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 4 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,83. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,68.Keywords : Achievement, Reciprocal Teaching, Hydrocarbons

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop the student’s activity paper on the subject of macromolecule. The type of this research was reseach and development (R & D) with the 4-D development model which include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was to develop phase and be continue with a definite tryout. This research was conducted in FKIP Riau University. The object of this research was the students’ activity paper based on the discovery learning. The data analysis technique used for this research was descriptive statistic descriptive. The descriptive analysis done by calculated the percentage of validation value. The average score of valuation to four expediency aspect of student’s activity sheet by validator’s team, such as the content properness, the language properness, course and the graphical has expediency value continued is 89,10%,, 90,00%, 10,00%, and 91,67%. Thus, the average score totality of student’s activity paper based on the discovery learning subject of macromolecule is 92,69% which is in valid criteria, means that the LKPD Developed is proper to be use. Whereas percentage response of student or collegian is 93,50% to LKPD with very good criteria.Key Words: Student Activity Sheet, Discovery Learning, and Macromolecule.

Abstract

Abstract: Research was conducted with the aims to determine pH range, percentage acid base indicator titration error, and stability of Oryza sativa Glutinosa extract as acid base indicator. Oryza sativa Glutinosa grains respectively extracted with maseration using ethanol (HCl 1%). pH range determined by added the extract into buffer solutions pH 1-9. Percentage acid base indicator titration error determined by applied the extract in strong acid-strong base, weak acid-strong base, strong acid-weak base titration. The stability determined by applied the extract in strong acid- strong base titration for 4 (four) months with interval 1 (one) month. The pH range known at 6-7. Percentage acid base indicator titration error were 0,0714 ± 0,0736 % for strong acid-strong base titration, 0,0495 ± 0,0379% for weak acid- strong base, and 3,5635 ± 1,1621% for strong acid-weak base. The stability of the extract shown by small percentage acid base indicator titration error about 0,0803 ± 0,0416%.Keywords : Oryza sativa Glutinosa, Acid Base Indicator, Titration

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve learning outcomes biology class VII SMP N 1 Rimba Melintang in the academic year 2015/2016 with the implementation of learning model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Conducted from January to May 2016. The subjects were students of class VII SMPN 1 Rimba Melintang in the academic year 2015/2016 with the number of 31 people consisting of 13 students and 18 female students. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) will be undertaken in two cycles with three meetings and go 1 time daily tests. The parameters in this study is the result of student learning that consists of the absorption of students and completeness of student learning, student activities and teacher's activities. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students has increased in the first cycle students' absorption of 77% (enough) and the second cycle 79% (enough). Mastery learning in the first cycle were completed and 64.52% increased in the second cycle is 77.42%. Activities of students in the first cycle of 76.97% (enough) and the second cycle increased to 83.06% (very good). Activities of teachers increased from 83.33% (good) and the second cycle 95.85% (very good). The learning model Problem Based Learning (PBL) can improve learning outcomes Biology class VII SMPN 1 Rimba Melintang in the academic year 2015/2016.Keywords: biology learning outcomes, learning Problem Based Learning (PBL)
