Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang : Pendidikan merupakan proses pembelajaran yang bertujuan agar seseorang dapat menyesuaikan diri sebaik mungkin dengan lingkungan dimana individu tersebut berada. Untuk mencapai pendidikan yang baik individu harus mempunyai motivasi yang di pengaruhi oleh konsep diri yang dimiliki oleh individu. Pada beberapa penelitian didapatkan hasil banyak mahasiswa yang mengalami kecendrungan low self esteem yang mengakibatkan mahasiswa tersbut mempunyai motivasi belajar yang kurang yang akhirnya akan membuat prestasi belajarnya menurun.Tujuan :Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konsep diri dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa keperawatan tingkat 1 & 2 di Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang. Metode :Desain penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebayak 110 responden dengan tehnik simple random sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah chi square.Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memiliki konsep diri yang positif (51,8%) dan motivasi belajar yang baik (58,2%). Hasil analisis statistik uji chi square di penelitian menunjukkan p value 0,00 >0,05 bahwa terdapat hubungan konsep diri dengan motivasi belajar Mahasiswa Keperawatan tingkat I & II.Simpulan: Hal ini menunjukkan semakin positif konsep diri yang dimiliki responden semakin baik motivasi belajar yang dimilikinya dan akan semakin meningkat prestasi belajarnya.Saran : Mahasiswa Keperawatan diharapkan dapat membangun konsep diri yang positif agar dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar yang baik.Kata Kunci : Konsep Diri, Mahasiswa Keperawatan, Motivasi Belajar

Abstract

Abstract :The problem this research is the student achievement of Mathimatic studies fifth graderes SDN 12 Air Jamban Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis still low with an average value of 53,12 and minimum completenness criteria (KKM) mathematic studies is 65. Between students, amounting to 32 people only 13 students who achieve classical KKM with 40%. This research is Classroom action Research (CAR), wich aims to improve the learning process in the classroom. Formulation of the problem : is the implementation quantum learning can improve students achievment of mathematic studies at SDN 12 Air Jamban Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis. The research was conducted on march 16, 2015 to april 01, 2015 by 2 cyclees. Subjects were students of SDN 12 Air Jamban Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis, totalling 32 people who use the data source. The data collection instruments in this research is a teacher and students activities sheets and students achievement. Based on the achievement research of activity the teacher in the lerning process in cycle I frist meeting was 75% and at the second meeting of teacher activity increased to 83%. cycle II firs meeting and the second meeting of activity increased to 90% and the second meeting of activity increased to 96%. Result of data analysis of students activities in the first meeting cycle with the first meeting of an avarage of 70,8% and at second meeting of activity increased to 75% and a second meeting of activity increased improve to 88%. At the firs meeting of the second meeting of activity increased to 96%.This research presents the results obtained each before the implementation an improve in base score sycle with the average being, 53,12. In the first cycle improve an average of 71 with increase as 33,64% and an impove in the second with an average of 84,25 with increase as 58,58%. Result in the research that the implementation of quantum learning can improve students achievement of mathematic Studies at fifth graderes SDN 12 Air Jamban Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis.Key Words : Model Quantum Learning, Mathematic student’s achievement

Abstract

This study aimed to find out wheter there was any correlation between students’ self-confidence and their motivation to speak English. This research methode was quantitative with the correlational research design. The research took 20 students of the eleventh-grade students at MA Banat Thohir Yasin as the sample. The instruments used to collect the data were questionnaire and speaking test. The questionnaire to assess students’ self-confidence and motivation, while speaking test to assess students in speaking English. To analyze the data, the researcher used correlations Pearson Product Moment to find out the correlation between students’ self-confidence and their motivation to speak English. The research used SPSS 25 programs as the statistical program to analyze the data. The data found that (1) there was correlation between students’ self-confidence and speaking with the signifcant value was 0.001 < 0.005 and the correlation coefficient r = 0.666. (2) there was correlation between students’ motivation and speaking with the significant value was 0.000 < 0.005 and the correlation coefficient r = 0.904. From the result of the research, it can be concluded that there was a significant correlation between self-confidence and their motivation to speak English.
