Abstract

Abstract: Problem solving is one of the objectives of learning mathematics. Not only for school students but also college student, especially PGSD students. The level of students' ability to solve problems can be seen using SOLO taxonomy. Using the SOLO taxonomy, the quality of students' answers to a problem can be analyzed based on the complexity of understanding. SOLO's taxonomy consists of 5 levels, namely (1) Pre-Structural Level, (2) Uni-Structural Level, (3) Multi-Structural Level, (4) Relational Level, (5) Expanded Abstract Level. This study uses qualitative research that describes the ability to solve the problem solving linear inequality system of two variables in PGSD students using SOLO taxonomy. The results of this study indicate that the ability of PGSD students to solve problem solving problems varies. From the five SOLO taxonomic levels, there are PGSD students who meet levels 2 to 5, namely the Uni-Structural Level, Multi-Structural Level, Relational Level, Expanded Abstract Level. There are no students who meet level 1 in the SOLO taxonomy namely Pre-Structural Level.   Abstrak: Pemecahan masalah merupakan salah satu tujuan dari pembelajaran matematika. Tidak hanya pada siswa  sekolah tetapi juga mahasiswa, khususnya mahasiswa PGSD. Tingkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah dapat dilihat menggunakan taksonomi SOLO. Taksonomi SOLO dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis kualitas jawaban siswa terhadap suatu masalah berdasarkan kompleksitas pemahaman. Taksonomi SOLO terdiri dari 5 tingkatan, yaitu (1) Level Pre-Struktural, (2) Level Uni-Struktural, (3) Level Multi-Struktural, (4) Level Relasional, (5) Level Abstrak yang  Diperluas.  Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif yang mendeskripsikan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal pemecahan masalah sistem pertidaksamaan linear dua variable pada mahasiswa PGSD menggunakan taksonomi SOLO. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa PGSD dalam menyelesaikan soal pemecahan masalah berdasarkan taksonomi SOLO menunjukkan tingkatan yang berbeda-beda. Dari lima level taksonomi SOLO, ada mahasiswa PGSD yang memenuhi level 2 sampai 5 yaitu Level Uni-Struktural,  Level Multi-Struktural, Level Relasional, Level Abstrak yang  Diperluas. Tidak ada mahasiswa yang memenuhi level 1 pada taksonomi SOLO yaitu Level Pre-Struktural.

Abstract

Siswa sekolah dasar rata-rata berumur 7–12 tahun, berdasarkan teori Piaget termasuk dalam tahap operasional konkret. Siswa pada tahap tersebut lebih mudah memahami materi yang konkret, salah satunya menggunakan gambar. Mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar sudah seharusnya menguasai materi sekolah dasar berdasarkan tahap perkembangan siswanya. Salah satu materi sekolah dasar yang sering dianggap sulit adalah pecahan. Sehingga pembelajaran pecahan membutuhkan bantuan berupa gambar untuk memudahkan siswanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif yang mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi piktorial mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan representasi mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar sangat beragam. Tidak semua mampu merepresentasikan operasi hitung pecahan dengan tepat

Abstract

Learning with a new paradigm views assessment as no longer limited to reporting student assessments but is seen as a process of collecting and processing information to determine learning needs, development and achievement of learning outcomes. Assessment is an inseparable part of the learning process, one of which is diagnostic assessment. Diagnostic assessment is an assessment activity carried out at the beginning of learning to determine students' initial knowledge. This diagnostic assessment needs to be carried out by educators because students' conditions vary, such as: needs, abilities, experience, level of maturity, and also background. The purpose of diagnostic assessment is to map studentsbased on their abilities so that students can achieve the goals that have been formulated. This research uses a classroom action research method carried out in 2 cycles. Research data was obtained through learning outcomes tests. The research results showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes after implementing the diagnostic assessment. This increase can be seen from the increase in average value and percentage in each cycle.

Abstract

Geometry is one of the main materials for learning mathematics in elementary schools. So that students as prospective elementary school teachers should have mastered the concept of geometry. In addition, prospective elementary school teacher students should also know the level of students' geometric thinking. The goal, before the teacher knows the level of thinking of students, he should know the level of geometric thinking he has. The reference used in looking at the geometric thinking level is the Van Hiele thinking level. This study aims to identify the leveling of the geometric thinking stage of elementary school teacher students using the Van Hiele thinking level. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. A written test questionnaire from the Van Hiele Geometry Test (VHGT) was used as an instrument in this study. The results showed that the geometric thinking level of prospective elementary school teacher students only reached level 1 or the introduction level

Abstract

The Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) is one of the newest forms of assessment issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture. AKM is designed to measure student achievement from cognitive learning outcomes, namely reading literacy and numeracy. Numerical ability is related to the application of basic knowledge and mathematical principles and processes in everyday life. Agriculture is one of the fields that apply the basis, concepts, principles and processes of mathematics in its use. Then tourism which is part of local wisdom can develop knowledge, problem solving and student character. This study aims to develop numeracy questions that are used to measure cognitive aspects in the form of numeracy abilities of elementary school (SD) students through AKM. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method. The steps in developing the assessment instrument are (1) compiling test specifications, (2) writing questions, (3) examining the contents of the questions, (4) improving the contents of the questions, (5) conducting trials, (6) analyzing each item, (7 ) interpret the test results. The data analysis used is the Gregory formula to test its validity, and the Guilford formula to test its reliability. Based on the Gregory formula, the results obtained in this study were 0.8 with very high validity criteria. As for reliability using the Guilford formula, the results obtained are 0.717 with high reliability criteria.

Abstract

Sebagai upaya membentuk karakter mahasiswa yang sesuai dengan karakter bangsa maka diperlukan pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan karakter mahasiswa tersebut. Di masa pandemi Covid-19, pembentukan karakter mahasiswa semakin sulit dilakukan karena pengontrolan tidak bisa dilakukan secara langsung tatap muka. Oleh karena itu, salah satu cara meningkatkan karakter mahasiswa yakni dengan menerapkan habituasi berbasis ICT (Information, Communication, and Technology). Habituasi berbasis ICT (Information, Communication, and Technology) merupakan program pembiasaan karakter mahasiswa yang dilakukan setiap hari selama satu semester dengan capaian yang dievaluasi tiap pekan sekali menggunakan ICT. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil pembentukan karakter mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan angket, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitaif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mempraktikkan karakter setiap hari sehingga menjadi kebiasaan. Mahasiswa juga merasa senang melakukan praktik tersebut karena mahasiswa merasakan ada peningkatan kualitas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pemahaman tentang dampak kehadiran orang tua pada motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD Al-Munawarah. Adapun jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan sampel 30 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik non tes dengan instrumen berupa kuesioner. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis terhadap data yang diperoleh secara deskriptif. Selain itu, data juga dianalisis melalui analisis inferensial. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai t hitung yaitu 4,178 > dari nilai t tabel 2,048407. Dengan demikian maka kehadiran orang tua mempunyai pengaruh dalam memberikan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD Al-Munawarah Kabupaten Jayapura. Selain itu, nilai r sebesar 0,620 menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang “kuat” antara kehadiran orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based questions in teaching mathematics on data processing material in fifth-grade elementary school students. The research was conducted through comprehensive observation of lesson planning, delivery, and evaluation by the teacher. The results show that the questions used cover cognitive levels L4 to L6 based on the revised Bloom’s taxonomy. The questions were designed following the PISA assessment model, including complex multiple-choice and extended response formats to promote higher-order thinking. Evaluation was conducted holistically, encompassing cognitive, skills, and students’ spiritual and social attitudes. The teacher also assessed the learning process by observing students working individually and in groups. When students faced difficulties in understanding the questions, the teacher provided scaffolding to support independent thinking. The alignment between learning objectives, processes, and assessment was a key factor in the successful and meaningful implementation of HOTS questions, enhancing the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools.
