Abstract

The movement of the net asset value (NAV) of mutual fund products (MFP) whether high or low in the Covid-19 pandemic conditions in 2020. With the support of the Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS), this study intends to predict the rate of return on mutual fund investment (MFI) providing a choice of the average demand for return on mutual funds (MFR) that investors need. Analysis of the prediction of NAV movements and the rate of return on MFI in 55 MFP with a trial frequency of 48 times, we get an estimate of the average demand for MFR of 37 out of 100 cumulative numbers of probability distributions. The result is 77.08 percent, and an estimated average MFR in Indonesia during the 2020 Covid-19, the simulation got was IDR 421,954. The contribution resulted in a vital discovery of NAV in Indonesia in response to the economic recession affected by Covid-19..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan (X₁) dan kompetensi (X₂), baik secara simultan maupun parsial, terhadap kinerja pegawai (Y) pada Dinas Perhubungan Kota Samarinda. Desain penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berbasis skala Likert yang disebarkan kepada pegawai Dinas Perhubungan Kota Samarinda yang berlokasi di Jalan Mayjen MT Haryono, Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Dinas Perhubungan yang berjumlah 545 orang, sedangkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden, diperoleh menggunakan rumus Slovin. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menjelaskan tujuan penelitian, membagikan kuesioner, serta mengumpulkannya kembali setelah diisi. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan SPSS versi 16, dengan analisis deskriptif untuk menggambarkan karakteristik responden dan analisis inferensial berupa regresi linier berganda untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil uji secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dan kompetensi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, yang ditunjukkan melalui nilai koefisien determinasi yang menggambarkan bahwa variasi kinerja dapat dijelaskan oleh kedua variabel tersebut. Secara parsial, gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja, sedangkan kompetensi menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi pegawai memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kinerja. Sementara itu, gaya kepemimpinan, meskipun memiliki arah pengaruh positif, belum cukup kuat untuk memberikan dampak yang signifikan. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk mempertimbangkan variabel tambahan seperti kompensasi, motivasi, atau budaya organisasi guna menjelaskan variabel kinerja secara lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and work discipline on the performance of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) in Samarinda City. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to Satpol PP members and analyzed using the multiple regression method. The results of the analysis show that together, the work environment and work discipline have a significant influence on the performance of Satpol PP. However, when viewed partially, the work environment only has a positive but not significant influence on performance, while work discipline has a positive and significant influence on performance. These findings show the importance of work environment factors and work discipline in improving the performance of Satpol PP. The practical implication of this research is the importance of paying attention to aspects of the work environment and work discipline in the management of the Satpol PP organization to increase effectiveness and efficiency in carrying out their duties as law enforcers in Samarinda City.
