Pendidikan Karakter Melalui Kuntau Seni Beladiri Masyarakat Banjar Di Kalimantan Selatan Rabi'ah, Rabi'ah

Abstract

Character education is one of the national education programs that is always promoted for the younger generation, ranging from Basic Education to Higher Education. The government thinks character education is a solution to various problems, ranging from corruption, intolerance, to environmental problems such as garbage and floods. Various methods are used in order to grow these characters. The focus of this research is how character education is in accordance with the values of Islamic teachings through the Kuntao martial arts. Kuntao is a traditional martial art that has long been practiced by the Banjar people in South Kalimantan. This research is expected to provide a new treasure about the contribution of the traditional martial arts of the banjar community in Islamic education. The research method used is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The subjects of the study were the martial arts teacher, students, peers, and parents. Data analysis using miles and Huberman analysis. Data validity through source triangulation. The results of this study are that character education through martial arts has fulfilled the 3 pillars of character education in Islamic education namely morals, etiquette, and exemplary. Being obedient in carrying out the Islamic Shari'ah, respecting others, self-confidence, and humility are the characters that are formed through the teaching of martial arts in the Banjar community. In harmony with Islamic values that can not be separated from the role model of the teacher’s kuntao.

Abstract

Barrang Lompo Island is one of the islands located on the west coast of Losari Makassar City with different socio-economic characteristics of the population. The purpose of this study is to analyze the socio-economic characteristics of the skipper and their contribution to the household income of the skipper's family on the island of Barrang Lompo. The analysis of this study used descriptive statistics. The data used are primary and secondary data presented in the form of percentages, cross tables, and pictures. The results of this study can be seen by gender, age, education, income, ethnicity, regional origin, number of crew employed on the ship, number of dependents and the contribution of income. However, the government needs to take strategic policies to improve the welfare of fishermen on Barrang Lompo Island in particular and the population in general.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam sama tuanya dengan kedatangan agama Islam itu sendiri. Sejarah Pendidikan Islam dimulai dari masa Rasulullah SAW, kemudian dilanjutkan di bawah pimpinan para khalifah Rasulullah SAW, kemudian Era Bani Umayyah. Setelah Bani Umayyah tidak berkuasa lagi dilanjutkan oleh kekuasaan Bani Abbas. Pada masa Bani Abbas, terlebih pada pada period ketiga, ada saat ketika khalifah hanya sebagai simbol Negara, digaji, dan diangkat serta diberhentikan oleh sultan. Masa itu adalah masa kelam dari Bani Abbas, yaitu masa rezim Bani Buwaih berkuasa. Meskipun secara politik tidak stabil, namun perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan pendidikan tetap berlanjut. Masa kejayaan Bani Buwaih adalah ketika Sultan Buwaihi Adud al Dawlah. Masjid Khan yang menjadi fenomena masa itu, Bimaristan Al Adhudi , Khazanat al Kutub, dan juga ilmuwan seperti Ibnu Sina, Abdurrahman Al Sufi, dan Ibnu Maskawaih, mereka adalah ahli-ahli yang keilmuannya generalis menguasai berbagai cabang ilmu sekaligus seperti filsafat, kedokteran, dan astronomi juga dilahirkan dan besar pada masa bani Buwaih. Pendidikan dasar dimulai dari kutab, dilanjutkan di jami dan masjid, masjid kemudian berkembang menjadi Masjid Khan. Sebutan madrasah belum ada pada masa Bani Buwaih ini. Pada masa Islam Klasik, termasuk masa kekuasaan Bani Buwaih ini sumber pembiayaan lembaga pendidikan terutama berasal dari subsidi Negara dan wakaf.

Abstract

The Langgar education system was established earlier than schools, pesantren and madrasah. The Langgar education system has taken a very important role in preparing the next generations by being equipped with Islamic religious knowledge. The Langgar education system is part/component of the educational process. The offending education system in this study includes educators, students, offending educational goals, offending educational materials, offending education methods, and offending education evaluation. This research is a field research with qualitative data types. in the design of a portrait study of Islamic religious education in rural communities. Data were collected by interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data processing uses data reduction, data display and data verification. Then analyzed using descriptive qualitative method. This study uses educational factor theory as an analytical tool. The results of this study can be concluded that the education system of Langgar Darul Akhyar in Sungai Durian Village, Banua Lawas District, Tabalong Regency is illustrated in the following description: 1) Langgar Darul Akhyar educators are alumni of Islamic boarding schools and some are even alumni of the Middle East, and some are already at Strata 1 (S1 Arabic). 2) Students who study at Langgar Darul Akhyar are of various ages. 3) Langgar Darul Akhyar education aims to make the community understand religion. 4) Langgar Darul Akhyar educational materials studied, such as the reading of the Hidayatussalikin Book which includes the science of divinity/monotheism, the science of worship/fiqh, the science of cleansing the heart/tasawuf and the reading of the Book of Aqidatul Awwam which includes the science of theology/monotheism. 5) The Darul Akhyar Langgar Education Method is the lecture method and the practical method. 6) Evaluation is never done.

Abstract

Perubahan kurikulum menjadi salah satu upaya strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Kurikulum yang inovatif bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis dan relevan, yang dapat mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan masa depan dengan lebih baik.Namun, perubahan ini sering kali dihadapkan pada tantangan besar, terutama dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara inovasi dan konsistensi dalam penyampaian materi pelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi yang dapat digunakan untuk menciptakan keseimbangan antara inovasi dan konsistensi dalam perubahan kurikulum. Metode penelitian bersifat Studi Literatur, jenis penelitian studi literatur (Library Research) merupakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan studi penelaah terhadap buku, catatan, dan laporan yang berkaitan dengan masalah yang dipecahkan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan bukti kuat bahwa perubahan kurikulum yang mengintegrasikan inovasi dengan konsistensi dapat membawa manfaat besar bagi sistem pendidikan. Pentingnya dukungan dari semua pemangku kepentingan, kesiapan guru, serta penggunaan indikator yang relevan untuk mengukur efektivitas perubahan kurikulum juga ditekankan. Dengan menerapkan temuan-temuan ini, diharapkan dapat tercipta sistem pendidikan yang lebih adaptif, responsif, dan efektif dalam mempersiapkan generasi masa depan.

Abstract

The increasing use of digital tools in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction has transformed grammar learning, offering contrasting affordances. This study explored how university-level EFL students in Indonesia experience gamified (Quizizz) versus traditional web-based grammar platforms. Adopting a qualitative case study with 30 participants, data were collected through classroom observations and semi-structured questionnaires based on 15 behaviorally anchored indicators aligned with three research questions. Findings revealed that Quizizz heightened engagement through competitive elements, immediate feedback, and peer interaction—though some learners experienced stress due to time constraints. In contrast, traditional grammar websites promoted self-paced study, detailed explanations, and conceptual clarity, albeit with lower interaction and occasional disengagement. Cross-platform comparison showed learners valued both tools: Quizizz for motivational drill practice and traditional platforms for in-depth understanding and exam preparation. These insights suggest that neither platform alone is universally optimal. A blended instructional approach, combining gamified engagement with structured guidance, offers a more balanced grammar learning experience tailored to diverse learner preferences. Future research should include longitudinal and comparative designs across proficiency levels and integrate theoretical perspectives such as Self-Determination Theory and the Technology Acceptance Model to further elucidate learners' motivation and platform use.

Abstract

Keberagaman suku, etnis, bahasa, agama, dan budaya di Indonesia mencerminkan hukum alam yang menuntut penerimaan, tetapi dapat menimbulkan konflik tanpa keseimbangan pemahaman. Sementara menghadapi kompleksitas ini, Indonesia memasuki era digital dengan tantangan seperti penyebaran berita hoax dan pembentukan komunitas radikal di media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep moderasi beragama sebagai solusi mengelola penyimpangan beragama di era digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan dan peneliti juga mengamati fenomena yang ada di dunia digital tentang bagaimana moderasi beragama. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tantangan mencakup penyebaran berita palsu dan komunitas radikal, ditambah polarisasi media sosial yang bisa menjadi wadah bagi ideologi ekstrem. Di sisi lain, peluang moderasi beragama muncul dari ketersediaan sumber informasi yang melimpah, seperti narasi dan video dakwah moderat, yang bisa efektif dikelola untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi. Pendekatan lainnya mencakup pembuatan konten digital untuk menyebarkan pemahaman moderasi yang menarik perhatian pengguna internet.

Abstract

Keterlibatan masyarakat merupakan salah satu faktor yang menentukan mutu pendidikan. Tanggung jawab pendidikan Islam tidak hanya terletak pada sekolah atau lembaga formal, tetapi juga melibatkan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk keterlibatan yang diberikan masyarakat desa Telaga Mas Kecamatan Danau Panggang dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan di Madrasah Nurul Hikmah. Lokasi penelitian di desa Telaga Mas Kecamatan Danau Panggang Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi partisipatif dan dokumenter. Subjek terdiri dari tokoh masyarakat, masyarakat desa dan pimpinan madrasah serta guru madrasah. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Pengecekan keabsahan data dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik serta perpanjangan pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Keterlibatan masyarakat Desa Telaga Mas dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi usaha pendidikan di Madrasah Nurul Hikmah menunjukkan komitmen yang kuat terhadap perkembangan pendidikan di lingkungan mereka. Pada tahap perencanaan, masyarakat diikutsertakan melalui rapat yang melibatkan tokoh-tokoh lokal, memberikan ruang bagi mereka untuk menyampaikan masukan dan saran. Meskipun tidak semua warga dapat hadir, perwakilan yang ditunjuk memastikan suara mereka tetap terdengar. Selama pelaksanaan, masyarakat tidak hanya hadir, tetapi juga aktif berkontribusi melalui kegiatan keagamaan, sumbangan tenaga dan dana, serta penyediaan sarana pendidikan. Keterlibatan ini mencerminkan dukungan mereka terhadap pendidikan anak-anak dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Madrasah Nurul Hikmah. Dalam evaluasi, masyarakat diundang untuk memberikan umpan balik melalui forum diskusi dan survei. Hal ini memberikan kesempatan bagi madrasah untuk mendengarkan dan mempertimbangkan rekomendasi dari masyarakat demi perbaikan program pendidikan di masa depan.
