Abstract

Kecemasan berbicara merupakan keadaan takut secara berlebih yang dapat menimbulkan  keadaan dalam diri seperti kegelisahan sehingga dapat mengganggu ketika ingin menyampaikan sesuatu secara lisan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui ada hubungan Self-Confidence dengan Kecemasan Berbicara di Depan Umum pada Remaja Kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Baureno Kecamatan Baureno Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini desain analitik korelasi pendekatan cross sectional. Populasinya adalah seluruh remaja kelas VII usia 10 – 15 tahun, menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling didapatkan sebanyak 66 remaja. Data penelitian ini diambil menggunakan kuesioner setelah ditabulasi data yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji spearman Rank (Rho) dengan tingkat kemaknaan p=<0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari jumlah populasi sebanyak 66 remaja terdapat self-confidence kurang sejumlah 24 remaja (36,4%) dan terdapat kecemasan berbicara berat sebanyak 37 remaja (56,1%), berdasarkan hasil data diatas didapatkan uji statistik dengan nilai signifikan p sign = 0,00 (p<0,05). Dari hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan Self-Confidence dengan Kecemasan Berbicara di depan umum pada remaja Kelas  VII SMP Negeri 3 Baureno Kecamatan Baureno Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Selain itu hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecemasan berbicara sering dialami oleh remaja. Apabila kepercayaan diri kurang maka kecemasan berbicaranya berat begitu juga sebaliknya. Remaja bisa meningkatkan self-confidence agar kecemasan berbicara remaja dapat menurun.

Abstract

Introduction: COVID-19 prevention is currently a major concern for WHO, especially administering the COVID-19 vaccine. However, there are still several problems underlying the achievements of the vaccine administration program in Indonesia, especially the administration of the COVID-19 vaccine to children aged 6-11 years. This study aimed to the relationship between parental knowledge and anxiety levels in implementing the COVID-19 vaccination program for children aged 6-11 years in Lamongan, Indonesia. Method: This study used a cross-sectional design involving a total of 195 respondents. The research was conducted in Lamongan by measuring the level of knowledge and anxiety level of parents in administering the COVID-19 vaccine. The researcher used an instrument of a knowledge level questionnaire and the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) which had been tested for validity and reliability, Data were analyzed using pearson correlation test with SPSS. Results: The results showed that 42.6% had sufficient knowledge and only a small proportion of 24.6% had good knowledge. The level of anxiety shows that 49.7% is in the level of severe anxiety and 4.6% is in the level of mild anxiety. Parents with low levels of knowledge also have an impact on severe levels of anxiety. The results of the Pearson correlation test analysis show of sig 2-tailed = 0.002, which means that between the variable parental knowledge and the variable level of anxiety has a significant relationship with the value of the correlation coefficient = 0.223. Conclusions: There is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the anxiety level of parents in administering the COVID-19 vaccine to children aged 6-11 years. Health education related about the benefits and impacts of giving the COVID-19 vaccine needs to be conveyed clearly to the public.

Abstract

Akan ada peningkatan prevalensi masalah medis dan psikologis yang rumit, seperti kecemasan, di kalangan lansia seiring bertambahnya usia populasi. Sebagai reaksi terhadap hal-hal yang kita anggap berbahaya atau akibat pengaruh luar yang membuat kita merasa sedih, rasa cemas merupakan emosi yang khas pada manusia. Fokus penelitian ini adalah lansia penghuni Panti Jompo Spmaa Turi Lamongan dan tingkat kecemasannya, khususnya melihat bagaimana pengaruh Terapi Murotal Al-Qur'an Surah Ar-Rahman terhadap mereka. Dalam penelitian ini, desain pra-eksperimental digunakan. Metode Total Sampling untuk Menentukan Jumlah Populasi. Tiga puluh orang mengisi survei. Dengan menggunakan lembar kuesioner, data penelitian ini dikumpulkan. Data dikenai uji Wilcoxon setelah tabulasi, dengan ambang batas signifikansi ditetapkan pada p=<0,05. Setelah mendapat perlakuan murotal Surat Ar-Rahman dalam Al-Qur'an, 11 dari 36 peserta lanjut usia (atau 36,7% dari total) melaporkan kecemasan sedang, sedangkan 1 dari 3 peserta (atau 3,3%) melaporkan kecemasan berat. Uji statistik yang dilakukan dengan uji Wilcoxon menghasilkan nilai P=0,02, lebih kecil dari ambang batas signifikansi 0,05. Dengan demikian H1 diterima yang menunjukkan bahwa Terapi Murotal Al-Qur'an Surah Ar-Rahman memang berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kecemasan lansia di Panti Jompo Spmaa Turi Lamongan. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, diperlukan manajemen yang baik dalam merawat lansia agar kekhawatiran lansia berkurang.

Abstract

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a psychological condition that can negatively impact an individual’s quality of life. Non-pharmacological interventions such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Five-Finger Hypnosis are increasingly used to help patients manage PTSD symptoms. This study aims to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of DBT and Five-Finger Hypnosis in improving the quality of life of PTSD patients. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test approach in two intervention groups, each consisting of 30 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The instrument used for assessment is WHOQOL-BREF, and data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann-Whitney U Test. The results indicated that both interventions significantly improved the quality of life of PTSD patients (p < 0.05). However, Five-Finger Hypnosis demonstrated greater effectiveness compared to DBT, with a significance value of p = 0.000. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Five-Finger Hypnosis is more effective in enhancing the quality of life for PTSD patients due to its deep relaxation technique, which significantly reduces anxiety and stress levels. Therefore, Five-Finger Hypnosis should be considered as an effective non-pharmacological alternative therapy for PTSD treatment.

Abstract

Schizophrenia is a chronic mental disorder characterized by disturbances in thought processes, one of which is delusion. Delusions are fixed false beliefs that deviate from reality and are difficult to correct, thereby impairing patients’ cognitive and social functioning. Managing delusions requires not only pharmacological treatment but also non-pharmacological approaches, such as guided imagery therapy and reality orientation therapy. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of both therapies in reducing delusional levels among schizophrenic patients at the Griya Cinta Kasih Foundation in Jombang Regency. The research employed a pre-experimental design using a two-group pretest– posttest approach, the sampling method used was purposive sampling. Involving 34 patients divided into two intervention groups of 17 participants each. The first group received guided imagery therapy, while the second group received reality orientation therapy. The Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) was used as the assessment instrument, and data were analyzed using the Mann–Whitney test. The results showed that both therapies were effective in lowering delusional scores, with a decrease from 132.94 to 105.88 in the guided imagery group, and from 135.29 to 98.65 in the reality orientation group. A p-value of 0.039 indicated a statistically significant difference, with reality orientation therapy proving to be more effective than guided imagery. In conclusion, reality orientation therapy can be considered a superior non- pharmacological intervention for reducing delusions in schizophrenic patients and may be routinely implemented in mental health nursing practice.

Abstract

The fulfillment of spiritual needs is essential for individuals with mental disorders, as it plays a significant role in supporting mental stability and improvement. Spirituality provides meaning in life, hope, and inner peace, all of which have positive effects on patients’ psychological well-being. This study aims to examine the relationship between the fulfillment of basic spiritual needs and mental status levels in individuals with mental disorders at the Berkas Bersinar Abadi Foundation in Lamongan. This research employed a cross-sectional design with a population of 80 individuals with mental disorders, from which 66 participants were selected using a random sampling technique. The research instrument was a structured questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using Spearman’s rho test with a significance level of p < 0.05. The results showed that most respondents (88.3%) had low fulfillment of basic spiritual needs, while a majority (59.1%) exhibited good mental status. The statistical analysis yielded a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05) with a correlation coefficient (rₛ) of 0.566, indicating a moderately strong positive relationship between the fulfillment of basic spiritual needs and mental status. The higher the level of spiritual fulfillment, the better the mental status observed. These findings highlight the importance of integrating spiritual aspects into mental health care. Therefore, it is recommended that nurses develop spiritually-based programs, such as regular group worship and religiously oriented support groups, as part of a holistic rehabilitation intervention.

Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is a transitional period between childhood and adulthood, characterized by social and psychological changes, making teenagers vulnerable to aggressive behavior. Aggressive behavior in adolescence has become a serious issue because it can have negative impacts, such as being labeled a troublemaker or being shunned by peers. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between self-control and aggressive behavior in adolescents. Methods: This study used a correlational design with a cross-sectional method. The population consisted of 194 adolescents, from which a sample of 129 participants was selected using the simple random sampling technique. Self-control was measured using a questionnaire consisting of 17 items, including 9 favorable and 8 unfavorable items, with a Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient of 0.825. Aggressive behavior was measured using 32 items, including 30 favorable and 2 unfavorable items, with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.806. After data tabulation, analysis was performed using Spearman’s rho test with SPSS. Results: There was a significant negative correlation between self-control and aggressive behavior in adolescents (rs = -0.559, p < 0.001). Conclusions: These results indicate that adolescents with higher self-control tend to exhibit lower levels of aggressive behavior. Efforts to reduce aggression can be made by enhancing self-control through the development of emotional maturity in adolescents.

Abstract

Introduction: Emotional problems are conditions where someone experiences psychological distress and psychological change. Although it can recover, the emotional problems can get worse if they are not treated properly. The research aimed to investigate the effect of self-management therapy on emotional control in adolescents in Tuban Regency Methods: The research applied pre-experimental one group pre-test-posttest design. The population was 39 respondents and used simple random sampling. The data were gathered by using questionnaire sheet. statistic test used Wilcoxon test Results: The research results indicated that before self-management therapy was administered, 31 adolescents (79.5%) experienced high/abnormal emotions and 1 adolescent (2.6%) experienced low/normal emotions. After the therapy was administered, 34 adolescents (87.2) experienced low/normal emotions and only 1 adolescent (2.6%) experienced high/abnormal emotions. The data which were analyzed by the Wilcoxon test indicated significance value of p=<0.05 and the significance value of self-management therapy was p=0.000, meaning that there was an effect of self-management therapy on emotional control in adolescents Conclusion: To control emotional problems in adolescents, one of the alternatives is by providing self-management therapy Keywords: Adolescents,  Emotional control, Self-management therapy

Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is marked by changes in growth and development that occur very rapidly. Adolescents will experience stages towards social and economic independence, identity building, acquisition of skills for adult life, and the ability to negotiate. Body shaming, weight shaming, or harassment based on appearance can be described as mocking or humiliating someone based on their physical appearance. The study aimed to determine the relationship between body shaming behaviour and the stress levels of the ninth graders at SMP N 4 Bojonegoro. Methods: The design of this research was a cross-sectional analysis. The population was 80 ninth graders obtained by using a purposive sampling technique. The students were experiencing body shaming. The research data were taken using the Body-Shaming questionnaire to measure body shaming behaviour and the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) 42 questionnaire to measure stress levels. Results: The results showed that 9 out of 11 students (81.8%) who experienced severe body shaming behaviour had extreme stress levels, 37 out of 38 students (97.4%) students who participated in proper body shaming behaviour had moderate stress levels, 18 out of 31 students (58.1%) who experienced mild body shaming behaviour had mild stress levels. Based on the results of the data above, a statistical test was obtained with a significance value of p sign = 0.01 (p <0.05). Conclusions: It can be concluded that there is a relationship between body shaming behaviour and the stress levels of the ninth graders at SMP N 4 Bojonegoro.

Abstract

Masa remaja ditandai oleh perubahan fisik, emosional, dan sosial yang signifikan. Munculnya tantangan dan masalah pada remaja, salah satunya permasalahan terkait tingkat kepercayaan diri yang disebabkan karena tindakan body shaming. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pengaruh audio visual terhadap tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa yang mengalami body shaming di SMP Negeri 1 Sugihwaras Bojonegoro. Populasi sebanyak 126 siswa diambil seluruhnya sebagai sampel (teknik total sampling). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra eksperiment dengan one group pre-test post-test design. Instrumen menggunakan kuesioner. Pengambilan data primer dan sekunder dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Bentuk intervensi adalah pendidikan kesehatan berupa pemutaran audio visual sebanyak 3x. Analisa data menggunakan wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebelum dilakukan intervensi ,sebagian besar (59,52%) memiliki kepercayaan diri kurang dan meningkat setelah intervensi yakni hampir seluruhnya (87,30%) memiliki kepercayaan diri sedang. Hasil analisa data didapatkan p value = 0,000 (0,05) artinya ada pengaruh audio visual terhadap tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa yang mengalami body shaming. Pendidikan kesehatan audio visual menjadi metode yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri korban body shaming.
