Abstract

ABSTRACTEvent is becoming more increasingly important both socially and economically. Such growth has raised many questions concerning the quality of event and impact on satisfaction and behavioral intentions of attendees, however, few studies have examined the actual event quality of a cultural performance. With so many competitions in the event business, an event planner must increase the level of event quality. In additon to create satisfaction and revisit of attendees in the event, a highly quality of performance, employees and environment is recommended.This study examined the underlying structure of event quality and  impact between satisfaction and behavioural intentions. Three event quality dimensions (quality of event employees, quality of event environment, and event product quality) were analyzed with descriptive statistical method and regression analysis. This study is based on the cultural event of ‘Ramayana Ballet’ performance at Culture House of  Puspo Budoyo. The study therefore emphasizes event quality has a significant relationship between satisfaction and behavioural intentions, Furthermore, quality event employees, quality event environment and quality event product have significant impact on behavioral intentions. Keywords:  event quality, satisfaction, behavioral intentions

Abstract

Traditional music is a hereditary heritage that we should support considering that Indonesia has a variety of cultures and arts that differ from region to another. One way to preserve the culture of the younger generation is to learn traditional musical instruments in general, such as gamelan, kolintang, angklung, sasando and others with the hope that these traditional musical instruments can still be used during cultural and artistic events or just for entertainment. But, with the development of technology today, many of these young generation do not even care and they do not even have a musical taste to learn this musical instrument, they even more interested in learning western music with its more interesting and modern presentation unlike traditional music which they think is outdated. This research was made with the aim first, what factors influence the interest of the younger generation or students in this era of globalization in studying traditional musical instruments at Bunda Mulia University Serpong, second, how much interest students have in learning traditional musical instruments, and three what obstacles faced by students in playing traditional musical instruments and finally to find out which traditional musical instruments are in great demand by students at the University of Bunda Mulia Serpong. The theory used in this study is the theory of interest and learning, while the research method used is a qualitative approach with data conducted through primary surveys, namely interviews and observations with Bunda Mulia University students from the hospitality and tourism study program by providing structured questions and interviews at students which were done online. As for secondary surveys such as library and journal studies to find supporting data related to the research theme. The results of the study provide an answer that the factors that underlie students' interest in learning traditional musical instruments is curiosity or eager to know of something, also student are interested in learning traditional musical instruments because they have studied these musical instruments before, as for the obstacles faced by students in learning traditional musical instruments were influenced among others, by not having the talents or interests of students as well as incomplete musical instruments and lack of qualified teachers, however the traditional musical instruments that interest to students is the traditional instrument of Angklung because they are familiar to its strains and melodies as well as unique musical instruments because they are played by swinging them. Thus, it can be concluded that the younger generation of Bunda Mulia University Serpong is interested in learning traditional musical instruments.

Abstract

Jakarta Old Town as one of the icons of Jakarta's tourism destinations which has just been revitalized in August 2022 is starting to be enlivened with various activities to increase the number of tourists and the destination image. One of them is the #IniJakarta 2022 Festival event which is being held by Plus Jakarta and The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. This study aims to analyze the role of the #IniJakarta 2022 Festival event in enhancing the image of Jakarta Old Town tourism destination. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis includes four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study found that the #IniJakarta 2022 Festival event increased the public awareness of Jakarta Old Town’s event and entertainment destination image. There are three supporting and inhibiting factors of the event. The role of the #IniJakarta 2022 Festival event in improving the image of Jakarta Old Town tourism destination is considered to have contributed enough in promoting and providing an overview of Jakarta Old Town which has been revitalized as a third space, but its role has not been maximized in terms of the social environment.

Abstract

In 2019 Kopi Jaga Cirebon joined the cafe industry in Indonesia and succeeded in surviving until now for a period of 4 years. Kopi Jaga Cirebon always maintains its existence in the sector of coffee drinks and non-coffee. In preserving its existence, Kopi Jaga Cirebon also creates a comfortable cafe atmosphere equipped with public facilities so that Kopi Jaga Cirebon customers can enjoy drinks while relaxing at Kopi Jaga Cirebon. This research was conducted to find out how influential the store atmosphere towards the customers' purchasing decisions at Kopi Jaga Cirebon. To find out this, the researcher conducted the study using a quantitative method using multiple linear regression analysis along with the result of the Hypothesis Test. The researcher used ways by spreading questionnaires and observation for collecting data. The result of the T-test is T count > T table. Then, the significance value is 0.00 < 0.05. Therefore, the store atmosphere gives some positive effects on the purchasing decisions at Kopi Jaga Cirebon. The formulation of the multiple linear regression test equation is Y = 11.401+0.240X1+0.167X2+0.640X3+0.145X4 wherein every time there is a store atmosphere there will be an increase of 34.6% to the purchasing decision obtained from the test results of the coefficient of determination. The conclusion is that store atmosphere influences purchasing decisions at Kopi Jaga Cirebon so that managers can maintain and improve each indicator of the store atmosphere (X) to improve each indicator on purchasing decisions (Y).

Abstract

Motivasi dikatakan sebagai keadaan dalam setiap diri individu yang mendorongnya untuk melakukan sesuatu, sedangkan keputusan berkunjung adalah proses pemecahan masalah yang ditujukan pada suatu sasaran. Jumlah kunjungan wisatawan Pulau Pari meningkat setiap tahunnya, akan tetapi hal itu menimbulkan kontradiksi dipicu pada ulasan yang mengatakan hal buruk tentang Pulau Pari. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menelaah pengaruh faktor motivasi terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan ke destinasi ekowisata Pulau Pari, Kepulauan Seribu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Data primer yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini diambil melalui penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan google form kepada 100 responden dengan syarat responden minimal satu kali pernah berkunjung ke Pulau Pari dalam periode 5 tahun terakhir. Data yang diperoleh dari kuesioner kemudian diolah menggunakan software SPSS Statistic 27 for Windows maka, didapatkan hasil uji T sub-variabel faktor ekstrinsik dan intrinsik motivasi terhadap keputusan berkunjung masing-masing diperoleh 4,892 dan 5,204 lebih besar (>) dari 1,661. Selain itu, hasil uji F juga diperoleh 48,509 > 3,94. Berdasarkan hasil dari uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa variabel faktor motivasi memberikan pengaruh sebesar 50% dan sisanya lagi dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak ada dalam indikator penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan faktor ekstrinsik dan intrinsik motivasi berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan ke destinasi ekowisata Pulau Pari, Kepulauan Seribu. Selain itu, dapat diketahui juga faktor motivasi berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan.

Abstract

The atmosphere in a restaurant is not just a detail, but a key factor in building and maintaining customer loyalty. This research aims to determine the influence of restaurant atmosphere on customers' desire to return to Taman Makan Rumah Kayu in Bandar Lampung. Simple linear analysis method. The results of this research indicate that the restaurant atmosphere has a significant influence on customers' interest in returning. These findings confirm that the restaurant atmosphere not only influences customers' interest in returning, but also directly influences the level of customer satisfaction at Taman Santap Rumah Kayu in Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

Tourism is an activity conducted by individuals or groups to enjoy destinations with cultural, unique, or historical attractions. This study examines the influence of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and service quality on customer loyalty at Avia Tour. The research adopts a quantitative approach using descriptive methods, with Avia Tour customers as the research subjects. The results show that CRM and service quality significantly influence customer loyalty. Effective customer relationship management and high-quality service collectively contribute to increasing customer loyalty at Avia Tour. In conclusion, both variables positively and significantly impact customer loyalty.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan dengan menganalisa pengaruh Attraction: Mermaid Show terhadap bertambahnya minat kunjung ke suatu tempat wisata. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif berupa pengolahan data, dengan cara mengumpulkan 100 responden yang belum pernah mengunjungi Jakarta Aquarium sebelumnya, untuk menonton atraksi, yang dalam penelitian ini dibahas mengenai Mermaid Show. Hasil dari uji normalitas Monte Carlo juga menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan uji linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa Variabel independen memengaruhi Variabel dependen. Serta penelitian ini juga tidak terjadi adanya Heteroskedasitas, dan koefisien determinasi menunjukkan berpengaruh antar Variabel Attraction: Mermaid Show terhadap bertambahnya minat Pengunjung, dengan kata lain bahwa, pengunjung berminat untuk datang ke Jakarta Aquarium untuk menonton Mermaid Show. Kesimpulan bahwa mayoritas pengunjung potensial adalah perempuan berusia 17-25 tahun, berdomisili di Tangerang, dan berstatus mahasiswa/pelajar. Dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, data menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen (Mermaid Show) berpengaruh terhadap minat berkunjung (variabel dependen), dengan data yang berdistribusi normal dan memenuhi uji statistik yang relevan. Kata Kunci: Attraction, Jakarta Aquarium, Mermaid Show, Minat.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh wisata kuliner dan perceived value terhadap revisit intention di Desa Wisata Pecinan Glodok, Jakarta Barat. Peneliti ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis uji regresi linear berganda beserta hasil Uji Hipotesis. Peneliti menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan uji T menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari wisata kuliner dan perceived value terhadap revisit intention di Desa Wisata Pecinan Glodok. Berdasarkan uji F, uji koefisien determinasi, dan regresi linear berganda, wisata kuliner dan perceived value berpengaruh terhadap revisit intention. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah wisata kuliner dan perceived value berpengaruh terhadap revisit intention di Desa Wisata Pecinan Glodok, maka pihak pengelola sebaiknya mempertahankan setiap indikator wisata kuliner (X1) dan perceived value (X2) untuk meningkatkan setiap indikator pada revisit intention (Y).
