Abstract

Pelaksanaan pengembangan diri secara berkelanjutan merupakan kewajiban yang harus dilajalankan oleh guru. Hal tersebut didasarkan pada UU No 14 Tahun 2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen. Satu kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru adalah menghasilkan suatu publikasi ilmiah. Dalam hal tersebut, guru harus memahami cara pengolahan data. Akan tetapi, pemahaman guru mengenai pengolahan data tersebut masih sangat kurang. Hal tersebut didukung dengan kurangnya pelatihan yang didapatkan guru mengenai bagaimana cara pengolahan data yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan permasalahan karya ilmiah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilaksanakan suatu program pelatihan peningkatan kemampuan penulisan karya ilmiah bagi guru. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman statistika khususnya pengujian hipotesis bagi guru. Metode yang digunakan pada pelatihan adalah dengan menggunakan metode diskusi dan praktek langsung mengenai pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan Ms Excel. Berdasarkan hasil preteset dan posttest peserta pelatihan, didapatkan bahwa pelatihan yang dilaksanakan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman pengujian hipotesis. Sehingga hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini mampu meningkatkan motivasi guru serta para guru mulai dapat merumuskan permasalahan yang dapat diselesaikan dengan pendekatan pengujian hipotesis statistik.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic does not only affect health but also affects the system of activities in the education aspect. In the implementation of learning, these activities are carried out online. The impact is the need for online learning resources that are easily accessible by students so that learning achievement can still be achieved. One source of learning that can be obtained is by accessing the library online. However, the reality in the field is that not all schools have library databases that are processed using database software so the integration process into online libraries is still difficult to do. SMAN Menganti Gresik is one of the schools experiencing these problems. Based on this, it is necessary to arrange the initial database system owned by the school. Initial database setup is done using Ms. Access. This database arrangement activity is intended as the initial process of creating an online school library. In addition, the arrangement of this database is intended to facilitate the administrative system of activities in the school library. The library database arrangement carried out at Menganti Gresik Senior High School was carried out by making special menus for school visitors, special menus for visitors from outside the school, and special menus for users.

Abstract

Scientific writing is not only a formal tool, but is an active step in exploring, processing and documenting knowledge in the field of data science. These skills are key in responding to business and social challenges that take advantage of abundant information. Therefore, the Training on Writing Scientific Papers in the Field of Data Science for MAN 2 Nganjuk teachers, which was organized by the Student Creativity Program Team (PKM) of PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya, was based on the urgency to empower educators in conveying the concepts and application of data science . The training material includes basic data science concepts and practical guidance for writing scientific papers. Evaluation of participant satisfaction shows positive results, reflecting the effectiveness of the training and positive contribution to the development of science and technology in society.
