Abstract

Masturbation is a deviant behavior carried out by teenagers. Porn masturbation orgasm (PMO) behavior can have an impact on reducing brain performance so that it can affect teenagers' cognitive intelligence. The purpose of this research is analyze the corerelation between porn masturbation orgasm and cognitive intelligence in adolescents. The research design used in this correlation with a cross sectional approach. A population of 117 teenagers was obtained from a sample of 39 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The independent variable in this research is porn masturbation orgasm and the dependent variable is cognitive intelligence. The measuring tools are the PMO questionnaire and the C1-C6 cognitive intelligence questionnaire. The test used in this research is Spearman Rho. The results of this study show that the majority (82.8%) carry out masturbation behavior in the moderate category and the majority (71.8%) have the moderate cognitive intelligence category with a P value of 0.009 <α= 0.05, meaning there is a strong correlation between PMO with cognitive intelligence. The correlation coefficient is negative, or the relationship is not in the same direction, meaning that the heavier the value of PMO behavior, the lower the cognitive intelligence value of adolescents. This happens because PMO behavior can damage the brain in the pre-frontal cortex. PFC experiences damage due to being flooded with dopamine so that it changes shape, which can disrupt the function of cognitive intelligence. It is recommended that teenagers increase their productivity to avoid masturbatory behavior that dominates teenagers' productive time, so as not to trigger addiction to masturbation and inhibit the process of cognitive intelligence

Abstract

Posyandu cadres play a crucial role in the early detection of stunting among toddlers through anthropometric measurements; therefore, they are required to possess adequate knowledge and skills. This study aimed to describe cadres’ knowledge and skills in using anthropometric tools in Purwokerto Village, Kediri Regency. This descriptive quantitative research involved knowledge and skill variables. The study was conducted on July 8–10, 2025, with a population of 80 posyandu cadres and a sample of 67 active cadres selected through proportional random sampling. Research instruments included a knowledge questionnaire and a skill observation sheet covering aspects of concepts, functions, procedures, result interpretation, measurement practices, recording, and compliance with SOPs. Ethical approval was obtained prior to data collection. The results showed that 64% of the cadres had good knowledge, 27% had moderate knowledge, and 9% had poor knowledge. Regarding skills, 65–75% of the cadres were proficient in using various anthropometric tools (stadiometer, infantometer, digital scales, baby scales), 21–31% were moderately skilled, and 4–12% were less skilled. Further analysis indicated that cadres with good competence were mostly within the productive age group (36–45 years), had secondary education (SMA/SMK), and had more than five years of experience. However, weaknesses were still observed in recording and interpreting measurement results. In conclusion, most cadres demonstrated good competence, yet the shortcomings in recording and result interpretation indicate the need for practice-based training and regular evaluations to improve the accuracy of anthropometric measurements in accelerating stunting reduction efforts.

Parental role significantly influences children's use of gadgets. The research aims to determine the relationship between parental roles and gadget use in school-aged children. The research design was correlational with a cross-sectional approach, using a sample of 26 respondents from a population of 120, selected by a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument and analyzed by Spearman's rho test. The study showed that parental roles were mostly good (61.5%) and gadget use by children was mostly high (69.2%). The results of the Spearman's rho test showed that p-value = 0.684 (α<0.05). It was concluded that no relationship between parental roles and gadget use in children. Gadget usage is not influenced by parental roles only, but also by environmental factors such as peer pressure.
