Abstract

Performance as an ability that a person has includes knowledge and skills. In the world of work, performance is the capacity that exists in a person to fulfill his work responsibilities so as to produce good output. The employee's performance will be said to be successful and optimal if it is in accordance with the company's desired results. The need for information systems to produce optimal employee performance is needed by computers based on Information Technology (computerization), so that it is not only able to optimize employee performance but also facilitate decision making for management because the data and information produced are fast and accurate. To find out the influence of management information system on employee performance, research was made. Thepurpose of this study is to analyze and test the influence of management information system on employee performance. In this study the population is PT Arta Boga Cemerlang Cirebon Branch,Jln. Nyi Gede Cangkring No. 99. To make it easier, save time, effort and cost, the researchers determined the size of the sample based on the Slovin formula. The sample obtained was 55 employees. Data analysis tools used in this study are validity and reliability test, significance test (t test), product moment correlation test (r test), determination coefficient (R2),and linear regression. From this research, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significantinfluence between management information system and employee performance, this can be seen from the results of the study showed a correlation of 0.68 and t calculate = 6,75. From the calculation result t calculate greater than t table which is 6.75 > 2.021; thus Ho hypothesis is rejected and ha alternative hypothesis accepted, i.e. there is a significant influence between management information system on employee performance. The coefficient value of determination of 0.46 or 46%,means that the variation in employee performance change(Y) is influenced by management information system (X) by 46%and the remaining 54%isinfluenced by other factors that are not calculated. Regression test results showed that management information system variables had a positive effect on employee performance with a coefficient of0.96. In the preparation of this thesis researchers took the object of research on most employees at PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. Cirebon with permanent employees status. With the reason that the level of compensation obtained by employees is closely related to the level of discipline in an effort to optimize the company's goals. From the results of the above research can authors conclude as follows: 1. Implementation of compensation, PT.Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. Cirebon can be said to be good, but still need more improvement. 2. Employee discipline level of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk., Still need to be improved again this will impact to decreasing overall performance. 3. From the results of the correlation test of 0.857 states that a strong / strong relationship between the variable compensation with the variable discipline. At the real level = 0.05 from the result of analysis it turns out H: P> 0 received, that is very high correlation, which means between variable compensation (X) with variable discipline (Y) there is a very high/ strong relationship with H alternative accepted, hypothesis 0 rejected, supported with result that t count> t table that is 7,05> 1,725.

Abstract

Hybrid working models have become an increasing phenomenon, triggered by developments in information technology and the changing needs of organisations. The concept combines in-office and remote working, offering flexibility that is expected to improve employee well-being and productivity. While there is a wealth of research on hybrid working models, there is a lack of understanding about the experiences of Human Resources (HR) in this context, particularly in relation to the impact on their behaviour and performance. This is important to study given the challenges and opportunities that arise in this transition. This research offers a new perspective by focusing on the direct experiences of employees in a hybrid working model, providing deep insights into how this approach affects their daily behaviour and performance. This research aims to explore and analyse HR experiences in hybrid working models and their impact on employee behaviour and performance across different industry sectors. This research uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and focus group techniques. Data was collected from 30 participants from various industry backgrounds and analysed using thematic analysis techniques. Results show that hybrid working models provide significant benefits in improving work-life balance, but also present challenges in terms of communication and collaboration. Employees who adapted well to this model showed improvements in individual performance and job satisfaction. The findings of this study have important implications for HR management and organisational policy development.

Abstract

Environmental changes and technological advancements serve as the background for PLN to continuously improve employee performance. Policy measures are needed by leveraging information technology implementation, automation policies, and centralized data management. The implementation of the PDKB Management Information System is expected to facilitate the executing unit in creating work orders that are forwarded to the PDKB team and directly monitored by management. This way, requests for network maintenance without power outages are expected to be handled more quickly and efficiently. The problem in this study is the lack of employee performance results in the PDKB-TM unit of PT PLN (Persero) in the Cirebon Area. One of the suspected factors contributing to this issue is the ineffective implementation of the management information system. The objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of the management information system, employee performance, and the impact of the management information system on employee performance in the PDKB-TM unit of PT PLN (Persero) Cirebon Area. The research method used is quantitative analysis. The study examines a specific population or sample, with data collection carried out using research instruments. The data analysis is quantitative/statistical, aiming to test predefined hypotheses. The research population consists of 80 individuals, and the expected sample size, representing 100% of the population, is equal to the total number of population members. Thus, the number of respondents in this study is 80. Based on the calculations and data analysis, the validity test results are > 0.514; the reliability test results are > 0.514; the correlation coefficient test result is 0.781, which falls into the strong category; the determination coefficient test result is 0.61 or 61%; and the linear regression equation is Y = 14.725 + 1.133X. The conclusion is that the implementation of the management information system has a strong positive relationship and a significant impact on employee performance, contributing 61% to the overall performance improvement.

Abstract

The marketing of fishery products in Cirebon City continues to encounter challenges in penetrating global markets, primarily due to the limited English communication skills among business actors. This study aims to examine the impact of English language training on the effectiveness of fishery product marketing. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 fishery entrepreneurs who had participated in a three-month English language training program. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics and simple linear regression to determine the relationship between the training and marketing effectiveness. The findings reveal that English language training significantly improved the participants’ communication skills in promoting their products to international markets (p-value < 0.05). Moreover, the use of English-based digital marketing strategies increased from 40% prior to the training to 75% afterward. These results highlight the essential role of English language training in enhancing the global competitiveness of fishery products. The study recommends the implementation of more targeted training programs integrated with digital literacy to support successful international marketing initiatives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyses the effectiveness of e-learning in enhancing the English comprehension of Electrical Engineering students in Cirebon. The research employs a quantitative method with a journal review approach to identify trends and the effectiveness of e-learning in English learning for engineering students. The findings indicate that e-learning significantly contributes to students' comprehension improvement, particularly in reading and listening skills. Students who actively use e-learning show a 30% increase in English comprehension scores compared to those who rely solely on conventional learning methods. A total of 75% of students reported that e-learning helped them better understand technical materials in English. However, challenges remain in student interaction and learning motivation, especially in speaking and writing skills. The conclusion of this study suggests that e-learning can be an effective learning medium with proper implementation strategies, including enhancing digital interaction and developing more engaging methods for students.
