Abstract

Ideal Physical Standard be dream each people, but that is be problematic both the culture and the health perspective. The conception need a study by comprehensive in order to overcome a dichotomy given availabel. This research aim to confirm any view of the culture and health perspective about Ideal Physical Standard. A qualitative descriptive by Grand Theory used an approach of this research. Any data collected by observation, interviews and documentation. A qualitative used to analyze data. The result of this research indicated that An Ideal Physical Standard view of the culture perspective are body compact and full content, better face and confirmity to look in it, face like baby face, give a happy in feeling to touch her/him, and bigger and good in growth. For the health perspective, Ideal Physical Standard oriented to Body Mass Indeks (BMI) < 27.0, male abdominal circumference <90 cm and women <80 cm. There are different at using a parameter both them. The health using a quantitative to determining a Ideal Physical Standard, but the Culture using a qualitative, so be gap them.Therefore, they need synergy and integrated them in order to general standard which expected can be received them.

Abstract

Gizi lebih pada remaja berdampak pada kesehatan fisik dan psikologis, termasuk citra tubuh dan pola makan. Media sosial seperti tiktok saat ini banyak digunakan sebagai sarana edukasi gizi, selain metode penyuluhan konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi gizi melalui tiktok dan penyuluhan terhadap citra tubuh dan asupan zat gizi makro pada remaja gizi lebih. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain before-after with control group dengan 50 siswa gizi lebih sebagai sampel, dibagi menjadi kelompok edukasi melalui tiktok dan kelompok edukasi melalui penyuluhan. Data citra tubuh dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, sedangkan asupan zat gizi makro diukur dengan food recall 2x24 jam sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa edukasi melalui tiktok dan penyuluhan  sama-sama  meningkatkan  citra  tubuh  positif  secara signifikan. Pada kelompok  edukasi gizi menggunakan  tiktok terjadi peningkatan asupan energi, protein, lemak  dan karbohidrat secara signifikan. Pada kelompok penyuluhan terjadi peningkatan asupan energi, protein dan karbohidrat secara signifikan tetapi tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan sebelum dan setelah intervensi dalam asupan lemak. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa terdapat pengaruh edukasi gizi melalui tiktok dan penyuluhan terhadap citra tubuh dan asupan zat gizi makro remaja gizi lebih. Pemanfaatan media sosial dapat menjadi alternatif yang lebih menarik dan efektif dalam edukasi gizi bagi remaja

Abstract

Nutritional status represents an individual’s overall physical condition, which is influenced by dietary intake and the body’s ability to utilize nutrients efficiently. Among the various determinants, physical activity and fruit–vegetable consumption play essential roles. According to the 2018 Basic Health Research data in Makassar City, the prevalence of nutritional status among adolescents aged 13–15 years was 2.69% severely thin, 7.01% thin, 63.21% normal, 17.67% overweight, and 9.42% obese. This study aimed to analyze the association between physical activity, fruit–vegetable consumption, and nutritional status among 65 female adolescents at SMPN 40 Makassar. Data were collected from November 2024 to February 2025 using a validated Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) for dietary assessment and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) for activity measurement. Nutritional status was classified based on the Body Mass Index-for-Age (BMI/A) criteria from the World Health Organization (WHO, 2007). Statistical analysis employed the Chi-Square test. The results showed no significant association between physical activity and nutritional status (p = 0.210) nor between fruit–vegetable consumption and nutritional status (p = 0.243). These null findings suggest that other dietary or lifestyle factors, such as total energy intake, meal frequency, or sedentary behavior, may play a more dominant role in determining adolescent nutritional status in urban settings. Future studies are recommended to expand the scope by including multiple determinants of adolescent health and nutrition behaviors
