Abstract

Background: Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of women with dysmenorrhea in the world is vast; on average, more than 50% of women in each country experience dysmenorrhea. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of lavender aromatherapy on reducing the severity of menstrual pain in adolescent girls. Research Method: This study uses a quasi-experimental, two-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study is adolescent girls aged 15-19 years at Al Anwar boarding school. by sampling using pretest and posttest data, and analyzed using the Paired t Test. So that 15 respondents will be researched. Results: The results of the paired sample t-test showed a ρ-value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there was an effect before and after the administration of lavender aromatherapy on the reduction of the scale of menstrual pain in adolescent girls at Al Anwar Boarding School, Cirebon Regency. Conclusion: This study found that the administration of lavender aromatherapy affected the reduction of menstrual pain in adolescent girls. Implementation. It is hoped that young women at Al Anwar Islamic Boarding School who experience menstrual pain can use lavender aromatherapy to reduce the level of dysmenorrhea pain.

Abstract

Background. Family planning is an effort to measure the number and distance of children desired. Injectable contraceptives are a way to prevent pregnancy from occurring through hormonal injections. The failure of the injectable contraceptive method is caused by the delay of the acceptor to re-inject. The rate of inaccuracy in the re-visit of birth control injections at the Aulia Medika Primary Clinic is still high at 52.9%. Purpose. This study aims to determine the factors related to the timeliness of re-injection of injectable birth control acceptors for 3 months at the Aulia Medika Primary Clinic, Cirebon Regency in 2025. Method. This study uses analytical research. Observational research method with a cross sectional approach. The population was 191 acceptors who visited in the January-December 2024 period and a sample of 66 samples. The sampling technique proposes "non probability sampling" with the purposive sampling method. The research instrument used medical records and questionnaire sheets and statistical analysis using Chi-Square test analysis. Results. The results of the relationship between knowledge and the accuracy of the 3-month injectable birth control acceptor revisit with a p value of 0.000 < α (0.05), the relationship between husband support and the accuracy of the 3-month injectable birth control acceptor with a p value of 0.002. Conclusion. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge and support of husbands and the timeliness of re-injection of injectable birth control acceptors for 3 months at the Aulia Medika Primary Clinic, Cirebon Regency in 2025.

Abstract

Background: Problems can arise during the breastfeeding process, including the release of breast milk. Problems with breastfeeding can have an impact on the mother's psychology, which greatly affects the work of the hormone oxytocin. HIPNOSI (Lactation Hypnosis) is a solution to overcome the problem of breastfeeding by programming positive suggestions to stimulate the release of the hormone oxytocin, and lactation problems can be resolved. This study aim was to determine the effect of HIPNOSI (Lactation Hypnosis) for improving the breast milk production in health care centers in Cirebon area.Methods: This type of research is a quasi-experimental, post-test only design with a control group, respondents are breastfeeding mothers. The research sample used the determination of sample size in a simple experimental study of 30 respondents  who were divided into treatment and control groups. Sampling used consecutive sampling, milk production was measured once, data was analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test.Results: Univariate analysis showed that most of the milk output in the intervention group was 15 ml, 16.5 ml, 18 ml, 39 ml, 81 ml, respectively 100%. While the milk output in the control group was mostly 2.5 ml, 5 ml, 6.5 ml, respectively 100%. Statistical test results obtained p value = 0.001 means that there is an effect of the HIPNOSI (Lactation Hypnosis) method on breastfeeding.Conclusion: HIPNOSI (Lactation Hypnosis) method has an effect in helping to expedite the release of breast milk and can produce more milk production
