Abstract

The wrong antibiotic therapy in patients with DM results in therapeutic failure and increases the risk of antibiotic resistance. Herbal ingredients can be used as antibacterial alternatives to prevent the growth of Gram-positive bacteria so that there is no resistance and further complications from diabetics. One of the natural antibacterial alternative herbs is Golden garlic or golden coloured garlic extract. Golden garlic contains the bioactive component Allisin as an antibacterial on several pathogenic bacteria, such as Gram-positive bacteria. Based on this, the purpose of the study was to analyze the Antibacterial Effectiveness of Golden Garlic Against Gram-Positive Bacteria From Patients With Diabetic Ulcers With High CRP Levels. Research design with analytical observational method and cross sectional research design, purposive sampling technique. Samples with high CRP from diabetic ulcer swabs were 10 samples with the results of Staphylococcus aureus bacterial growth and tested the effectiveness of golden garlic ethanol extract with concentrations of 100%, 80%, 60% and 40%. The results of the study of golden garlic extract with Cindamycin positive control showed intermediate effectiveness in inhibiting the growth of Gram-positive bacteria with a concentration of 100%, while with concentrations of 80%, 60% and 40% showed more resistance. Analysis with SPSS Anova there is a difference in effectiveness by showing the inhibition zone of Golden Garlic with a concentration of 100%, 80%, 60% and 40% against Gram Positive Bacteria from Diabeticum Ulcer Patients with High CRP Levels of 0.000. The results showed that Golden Garlic extract can be an alternative to antibacterial herbs in diabetic ulcers.

Abstract

Learning style refers to the way a person or student acquires knowledge taught by a teacher in the classroom. Each student has a different learning style. Some students may have only one learning style, while others may have several. Given the diversity of learning styles, this research aims to investigate whether a student's learning style can influence their academic achievement. A Likert scale questionnaire with four indicators was used as a research instrument to measure the learning styles of the students. In addition, a chi-square (X²) test was conducted to determine if there is a relationship between learning styles and academic achievement, and a mean test was used to determine if one particular learning style has a greater impact on academic achievement. The data analysis using the chi-square test showed that H0 was accepted, meaning there is no significant relationship between students' learning styles and their academic achievement. The mean test also showed that H0 was accepted, with the calculated F-value (1.16) being greater than the tabulated F-value (0.84).

Abstract

Penduduk Indonesia terutama didaerah pedesaan sebagian besar berprofesi sebagai petani, Petani merupakan profesi seseorang dengan aktivitas cocok tanam pada tanah pertanian bertujuan memperoleh keuntungan. Pekerjaan sebagai petani yang berat dapat menimbulkan nyeri di persendian, punggung serta pegal di bagian kaki dan tangan, penyakit yang diakibatkan nyeri seperti Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) dan asam urat. RA adalah penyakit sistemik kronik yang menyerang tulang sendi distruksi, asam urat adalah penyakit yang menyerang sendi dengan gejala penyakit mirip RA. Kegiatan petani yang cukup berat dirasakan memerlukan sosialisasi dan pemeriksaan bagi petani. Tujuan Pengmas memberikan edukasi dan mengetahui hasil pemeriksaan RA menggunakan  pemeriksaan Rheumatoid Factor (RF) pada petani dan tergabung dalam Gapoktan di desa Bulu, Semen Kabupaten Kediri. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan pembagian Kuisoner mengenai RF dan asam urat, pemaparan materi dan pemeriksaan RF dan asam urat. Waktu pelaksanaan tanggal 28-30 April 2024. Hasil pemeriksaan pada 23 responden didapatkan hasil RF positif Rheumatoid Arthritis 1 orang, pemeriksaan Asam Urat didapatkan hasil tertinggi 12,5 mg/dL sedangkan hasil terendah 3,7 mg/dL dengan rincian kadar normal 8 orang dan tinggi 15 orang. Hasil Quisioner menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan gapoktan mengenai Rheumatoid Arthritis dan asam urat masih rendah.

Abstract

The problem of organic waste in RW 06, Pandeyan Village, Umbulharjo District, Yogyakarta City, is increasingly pressing due to limited land and population density, which hinder the implementation of conventional management methods such as biopores. In response, community service was carried out to provide alternative solutions with the composter bag method, which is more practical and follows local environmental conditions. This program was implemented through stages of socialization, direct practice training, and assistance in implementing composter bags in the community environment. The results of the activities showed an increase in community participation in managing organic waste independently, thus contributing to the reduction of organic waste and its use as compost fertilizer that can be used for small-scale agriculture. The evaluation results showed an increase in participants' understanding regarding waste management and the process of processing it into organic fertilizer, with an average increase of 11.63%. In addition, there is an increase in knowledge from before to after the programs. The success of this program proves that an educational approach based on practice can increase community awareness and skills in managing organic waste more efficiently, sustainably, and environmentally friendly

Abstract

Gagal ginjal kronik adalah suatu proses patofisiologi dengan penyebab yang beragam yang dapat mengakibatkan penurunan fungsi ginjal yang progresif dan biasanya berakhir dengan gagal ginjal. Gagal ginjal kronik ditemukan meningkat pada stadium yang tidak disadari oleh pasien. Gagal ginjal kronik berisiko tinggi berkembang menjadi penyakit ginjal stadium akhir (ESKD). Alternatif sel-sel di hematologi bisa diindikatorkan terjadinyanya peningkatan stadium yag lebih tinggi salah satunya eosinofil dan neutrofil yang kadarnya meningkat pada pasien PGK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran eosinofil dan neutrofil dalam patologi penyakit ginjal. Pengambilan sampel dapat dilakukan metode penelitian Deskriptif dengan teknik sampiling purposeve sampling jumlah 27 sampel, penggumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunkan kuisioner. Berdasrkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari 27 sampel pasien gagal ginjal kronis di RSUD Gambiran kota kediri diperoleh hasil jumlah eosinofil meningkat sebanyak 5 responden ( 19%), normal sebanyak 22 responden ( 81%). Pada pemeriksaan neutrofil didapatkan hasil meningkat sebanyak 10 responden ( 37%) ,normal sebanyak 17 responden ( 63%) Peningkatan eosinofil dan neutrofil, baik di darah perifer maupun jaringan ginjal, berperan penting dalam proses inflamasi pada pasien gagal ginjal kronis. Kondisi ini dikaitkan dengan lebih banyak risiko tinggi berkembang menjadi penyakit ginjal stadium akhir (ESKD).

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to determine the calculation of the cost of goods produced by MSME Warkop Loba through a comparative approach of full costing and variable costing in determining the selling price. Research data obtained through field studies, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis method used is descriptive quantitative. The results show that MSMEs have not taken into account all costs, especially factory overhead costs. The full costing method produces higher COGS than variable costing because it includes all costs and can provide more detailed cost data than the variable costing method, so that it is suitable for determining more relevant profits. While the variable costing method can be used for cost control, especially for variable costs. Based on the calculation of COGS for three months, the total costs obtained were IDR 8,614,133 (Full Costing) and IDR 7,989,001 (Variable Costing). Determination of the selling price using the cost plus pricing method with a profit percentage determined using a markup set by the owner of MSMEs of 50% so that the selling price for three months is IDR 11,198,490 for Full Costing and IDR 11,983,502 for variable costing. Keywords: Cost of Goods Manufactured; Full Costing; Variable Costing; Selling Price. Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui perhitungan harga pokok produksi MSME Warkop Loba melalui pendekatan komparatif full costing dan variable costing dalam penentuan harga jual. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui studi lapangan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa MSME belum memperhitungkan semua biaya terutama biaya overhead pabrik. Metode full costing menghasilkan HPP lebih tinggi bidangkan dengan variabel costing karena memasukkan semua biaya dan dapat menyediakan data biaya yang lebih terperinci dibandingkan dengan metode variable costing sehingga cocok untuk penetapan laba yang lebih relevan. Sedangkan metode variable costing dapat digunakan untuk pengendalian biaya terutama biaya yang bersifat variabel. Berdasarkan perhitungan HPP selama tiga bulan total biaya yang diperoleh sebesar Rp8.614.133 (Full Costing) dan Rp 7.989.001 (Variable Costing). Penentuan harga jual menggunakan metode cost plus pricing dengan pressentasi laba ditentukan dengan menggunakan mark up yang ditetapkan oleh pemilik UMKM sebesar 50% sehingga harga jual selama tiga bulan sebesar Rp11.198.490 untuk Full Costing dan Rp 11.983.502 untuk variabel costing. Kata kunci: Harga Pokok Produksi; Full Costing; Variable Costing; Harga Jual.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the pronunciation errors of vocabulary and the factors causing the pronunciation errors of vocabulary that are read by blind students at MAN 2 Klaten. The method used for this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection methods used by researchers to access the data required in the writing of this study are the observation method, the interview method, and the documentation method. From this research, it is known that some of the mistakes made by students include errors in ibdal, hadzf, and idhafah. The factors causing the mispronunciation of vocabulary that are read by blind students are 1) The difference between the two languages in the al-letter makhariju; 2) Students cannot see the teacher who gives examples of vocabulary pronunciation; 3) A hearing mechanism that differentiates sound pronunciation; 4) Blind students do not know the meaning of vocabulary.

Abstract

Pembuatan keripik tempe umumnya menggunakan kacang kedelai sebagai bahan baku, namun sebagian besar kebutuhan kedelai didalam negeri masih impor. Upaya untuk mengurangi ketergantungan impor kedelai dan diversifikasi bahan baku salah satunya yaitu menggunakan kacang merah yang berpotensi untuk diolah menjadi olahan produk tempe. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui deskripsi sensori keripik tempe kacang kedelai dan kacang merah pada berbagai rasio kacang kedelai dan kacang merah. Parameter yang diamati meliputi warna, rasa, aroma, tekstur, dan kesukaan secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 5 formulasi rasio kacang kedelai dan kacang merah (100%:0%; 75%:25%; 50%:50%; 25%:75%; 0%:100%). Data sensori dianalisis menggunakan statistik non parametrik (Kruskal Wallis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rasio kacang kedelai dan kacang merah berpengaruh nyata terhadap warna dan juga rasa. Hasil diperoleh nilai rata-rata atribut warna 1,8-3,6 (putih lebih kuning hingga kuning kecoklatan), rasa 2,43-3,40 (agak berasa khas tempe-rasa khas tempe), aroma 2,70-3,23 (aroma khas tempe), tekstur 2,80-3,27 (renyah), dan kesukaan keseluruhan 3,13-3,57 (suka-lebih suka).

Abstract

Kopi merupakan minuman berwarna hitam pekat dengan aroma yang khas, biasanya diseduh dengan air panas, dan rasanya pahit. tujuan kegiatan ini sebagai pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan menambah unit usaha baru di masyarakat yang masih belum terbentuk, hal ini sejalan dengan kegiatan KKN yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah komunitas dalam perkembangan UMKM. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini meliputi penyuluhan tentang pemanfaatan dan pembuatan kopi biji rambutan kepada warga desa sarewu. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan penyuluhan kopi biji rambutan ini meliputi penjelasan secara langsung mengenai kandungan dan manfaat dari kopi biji rambutan serta proses pembuatan kopi biji rambutan. Menjelaskan kandungan biji rambutan, salah satunya adalah polifenol yang memberikan rasa pahit pada biji rambutan. Namun dibalik rasanya yang pahit, ternyata tersimpan manfaatnya dalam mengobati berbagai penyakit, seperti diabetes dan menjelaskan cara pembuatan biji rambutan menjadi kopi biji rambutan. Berdasarkan pengamatan, warga Rw 1 Desa Sarewu terlihat sangat bersemangat mencoba membuat kopi biji rambutan. Biji rambutan merupakan biji yang memiliki beragam khasiat seperti mencegah diabetes, mengatasi penyakit kencing manis, anti bakteri, menyehatkan saluran kemih, mencegah penyakitan ayang-anyang, mengatasi sariawan, antioksidan, mengatasi kanker, meningkatkan imun tubuh, melancarkan system pencernaan, baik untuk kesehatan kulit, mengatasi penuaan dini, mengatasi jerawat, dan mencerahkan kulit. Biji rambutan dapat diolah dalam berbagai produk seperti kopi biji rambutan, emping rambutan, tepung biji rambutan, dan minyak biji rambutan..

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of planning and organizing factors on the quality of service of Puskesmas Mulyorejo Surabaya City. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling, namely sampling taken in total by taking a sample of 34 respondents (100%). The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the factors consisting of planning and organizing have a real influence together (simultaneously) on the quality of service at Puskesmas Mulyorejo Surabaya City. Factors consisting of planning and organizing have a real influence individually (partial) on the quality of service at Puskesmas Mulyorejo Surabaya City. Among the factors consisting of planning and organizing, it turns out that planning has a dominant influence on the quality of service at Puskesmas Mulyorejo Surabaya City, with a partial effect of 53.7%. As input recommendations, suggestions can be given, among others: Conduct regular health checks and preventive health checks to the community and implement a quality improvement program to monitor and improve the quality of health services.
