Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and internet addiction. The hypothesis proposed in research is there any negative correlation between emotional intelligence with internet addiction on teenagers in internet café of Kelurahan Sekip Medan, assuming that the higher emotional intelligence, the lower the internet addiction, and vice versa. The subjects of this study were 114 teenagers in internet café of Kelurahan Sekip Medan. This research used emotional intelligence and internet addiction scale. Product Moment (Pearson Correlation) was used to analyze the correlation between two variable using SPSS 20 for windows. The results of the data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient was -0,737 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). It shows there is a negative correlation between emotional intelligence with internet addiction. The results of this study indicate that the contributions made by the variable of internet addiction on personal adjustment was 54,3 percent, while the remaining 45,7 percent was influenced by other factors that were not examined. Baged on these results, it is concluded that the hypothesis, is acceptale, and there is a negative relationship between the emotional intelligence and internet addiction.

Abstract

Corruption crimes that have been occurring widely, not only harm the state's finances, but also have been a violation of the social and economic rights of the community at large, so corruption crimes need to be classified as crimes whose eradication must be carried out extraordinarily. Every person convicted of corruption is sanctioned in accordance with the provisions of the laws and regulations. One form of sanctions imposed by judges related to corruption cases is the Conditional Criminal verdict, which means that the criminal does not need to live inside the Correctional Institution. The verdict is indeed the power of the judge guaranteed in the Law of Judicial Power as well as related to conditional criminality as stipulated in Article 14a of the Criminal Code, but in the Corruption Crimes Act, there is no mention of criminal threats with conditional criminals. In other similar cases, there is a judge's ruling that does not impose a conditional criminal sentence but provides a prison sentence for the accused of corruption, resulting in inconsistencies in the application of the law by the judge in sending the accused to corruption. Therefore, with a conditional criminal conviction will have implications on the principle of justice and legal certainty for convicted other corruption cases, as well as for the Government and society in general in preventing and eradicating corruption cases.

Abstract

Gastritis merupakan masalah terbesar di seluruh dunia, sekitar 1,7 milyar kasus terdapat di negara yang sedang berkembang. Gastritis di Indonesia mencapai 40,8% di beberapa daerah dengan prevalensi 274.396 kasus dari 238.452.952 jiwa penduduk dan termasuk sepuluh penyakit terbanyak yang masuk rawat inap, termasuk di Provinsi Bandar Lampung. Puskesmas Satelit mengalami peningkatan sejak 3 tahun terakhir dari tahun 2015-2017 yaitu 13% (1.650 kasus), 15% (1.979 kasus), 17% (1.867 kasus). Salah satu penyebab peningkatan adalah kurangnya pengetahuan, sehingga perlu dilakukan edukasi kesehatan secara tatap muka. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang gastritis di wilayah Posyandu Lestari II Wilayah Puskesmas Satelit Kota Bandar Lampung. Pengabdian ini di laksanakan tanggal 18 Agustus 2022. Hasil Pengabdian ini terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pengetahuan dan pencegahan Gastritis. Kesimpulan, pemberian edukasi kesehatan berpengaruh terhadap pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyakit Gastritis agar masyarakat dapat terhindar dari penyakit tersebut.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic chronic disease characterized by high blood glucose levels due to impaired insulin production, impaired insulin action or both. Increased blood sugar levels can increase risk levels and complications such as stroke, ketoacidosis, diabetic retopathy, diabetic ulcers and other complications.This study aims to analyze the effect of coffee consumption on reducing blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus: The research design used in this paper is a literature review study, regarding coffee consumption interventions to reduce blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Literature searches were collected from the results of online journal searches, which were obtained in the form of journals from googgle scholar as many as 5 national journals relevant to the topic.Results: Coffee consumption has the potential to reduce blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The majority of respondents involved were female, and there were differences in results between journals regarding the duration of the coffee intervention. Overall, coffee has a positive effect in regulating blood sugar levels, especially when given regularly.As a safe and affordable alternative to nonpharmacological therapy, coffee consumption can be part of a holistic approach in managing type 2 diabetes mellitus. Keywords: Coffee, blood sugar level, diabetes type 2  ABSTRAK Diabetes mellitus adalah suatu penyakit kronik metabolik yang ditandai dengan kadar glukosa darah yang tinggi akibat adanya gangguan produksi insulin, gangguan kerja insulin atau keduanya. Peningkatan kadar gula darah dapat meningkatkan kadar resiko serta komplikasi seperti stroke, ketoasidosis, diabetikum retopati, ulkus diabetikum dan komplikasi lainnya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh konsumsi kopi terhadap penurunan kadar gula darah pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2.Metode: Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam karya tulis ini adalah studi literature review, mengenai intervensi konsumsi kopi untuk menurunkan kadar gula darah pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2. Pencarian literature dikumpulkan dari hasil penelusuran jurnal secara online, yang didapat berupa jurnal dari googgle scholar sebanyak 5 jurnal nasional yang relevan dengan topik.Hasil: Konsumsi kopi berpotensi menurunkan kadar gula darah pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2. Mayoritas responden yang terlibat adalah perempuan, dan terdapat perbedaan hasil antara jurnal-jurnal yang mengenai durasi intervensi kopi. Secara keseluruhan, kopi memiliki efek positif dalam mengatur kadar gula darah, terutama ketika diberikan secara rutin.Sebagai alternatif terapi nonfarmakologi yang aman dan terjangkau, konsumsi kopi dapat menjadi bagian dari pendekatan holistik dalam mengelola diabetes mellitus tipe 2. Kata Kunci: Kopi, Kadar Gula Darah, Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2

Abstract

Background: The literature surrounding the use of fibrinogen concentrate versus cryoprecipitate in the context of cardiac surgery reveals significant insights into the efficacy and safety of these two treatment modalities for managing bleeding complications. Literature Review: The literature reviewed provides a comprehensive analysis of the efficacy and safety of fibrinogen concentrate compared to cryoprecipitate in managing bleeding complications following cardiac surgery. The systematic review by (Augusto Azevedo Maranhão Cardoso et al., 2015) establishes fibrinogen concentrate as a promising first-line treatment, emphasizing its advantages such as complete viral inactivation which reduces the risk of transfusion-related infections. This review synthesizes data from four studies involving 161 patients, indicating that fibrinogen concentrate can lead to decreased blood product usage and reduced perioperative bleeding. Conclusion: In conclusion, the reviewed literature consistently supports the use of fibrinogen concentrate as an effective and potentially safer alternative to cryoprecipitate for managing bleeding in cardiac surgery. The findings highlight its role in reducing transfusion requirements, improving patient outcomes, and offering economic advantages. However, the need for further research, particularly larger multicenter trials, is essential to validate these findings and inform clinical guidelines.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Bulungan, dari tahun 2020 ke tahun 2021 terdapat kenaikan populasi ternak kambing dari 7.460 ekor menjadi 7.686 ekor. Penambahan populasi terjadi pada 4 daerah yaitu Kecamatan Tanjung Palas, Kecamatan Tanjung Selor, Kecamatan Tanjung Palas Tengah dan Kecamatan Tanjung Palas Utara. Populasi ternak kambing terbanyak terdapat di 3 kecamatan yaitu Tanjung Selor dengan jumlah 2.225 ekor, Tanjung Palas Utara dengan jumlah 2.110 ekor dan Tanjung Palas dengan jumlah 1.360 ekor.

Abstract

Pengobatan alternatif semakin diminati oleh masyarakat sebagai pelengkap dalam perawatan kesehatan, salah satunya adalah terapi bekam. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam praktik terapi bekam sebagai bentuk pengobatan alternatif yang berbasis ilmiah. Program ini dilaksanakan bersama Klinik Master Bekam di Kelurahan Way Halim, Bandar Lampung, dengan metode pelatihan yang mencakup teori dan praktik langsung. Peserta mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai prinsip dasar bekam, teknik pelaksanaan, manfaat kesehatan, serta standar kebersihan dan keamanan dalam terapi ini. Melalui pendekatan berbasis keterampilan, mahasiswa tidak hanya memperoleh pengetahuan tetapi juga pengalaman praktis yang dapat diterapkan di lingkungan masyarakat. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam memperkenalkan bekam sebagai pengobatan alternatif yang aman dan efektif, serta meningkatkan kesiapan mahasiswa dalam memberikan layanan kesehatan berbasis terapi komplementer di masa depan.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effect of mindful breathing and mindful sitting practices on the academic stress of Nanyang Zhi Hui High School students in Medan. The population in this study was 82 high school students who had known and participated in the practice of mindful breathing and mindful sitting for 5 years. Data collection methods are questionnaires and documentation as support. Methods of data analysis using inferential statistics with a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression. The data that has been collected is tested for validity and reliability, which is then analyzed using inferential statistical methods. The results showed that the practice of mindful breathing had an effect on the academic stress of Nanyang Zhi Hui Medan High School students by 6.6%, the practice of mindful sitting had an effect on the academic stress of Nanyang Zhi Hui Medan High School students by 5.8% and the practice of mindful breathing and mindful sitting together (simultaneously) had an effect on the academic stress of Nanyang Zhi Hui High School students by 13.6%, with the variable of mindful breathing practice providing an effective contribution of 7.17% while the variable of mindful sitting practice providing an effective contribution of 6.41%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the practice of mindful breathing and mindful sitting has a significant effect on the academic stress of Nanyang Zhi Hui High School students.

Abstract

Homey Cake milik Ibu Yuliana merupakan salah satu Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) yang tengah berkembang di Kota Pontianak. Dalam menjalankan usaha kue lapis, terdapat beberapa permasalahan seperti penetapan harga dan keterbatasan bahan baku yang berdampak pada volume penjualan serta berpengaruh terhadap pencapaian keuntungan secara maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan solusi guna mengoptimalkan keuntungan pada UMKM Homey Cake. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode grafis, yaitu salah satu pendekatan dalam pemrograman linear yang dilakukan ketika permasalahan memiliki dua variabel serta metode simpleks guna melakukan iterasi untuk mencari kombinasi produksi terbaik dan dapat mendukung argumentasi metode grafis. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara langsung dengan pemilik usaha.
