Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine Science Process Skills (KPS) by applying the learning model to class VII materials on Temperature and Heat at Dr. Private Middle School. Wahidin Sudirohusodo for the 2022/2023 Academic Year conducted this research against the background of the low Science Process Skills (KPS) in Science for the last five years to 2021/2022, so that student learning outcomes were unsatisfactory. This was because students considered Science to be a difficult subject, especially Science Physics because it is necessary to use learning methods and models that can improve students' science process skills. This study used the classroom action research (PTK) method whose model was developed by Kemmis and McTaggart. Data collection techniques in this study used pretest and posttest test instruments with a population of 210 students spread across 7 parallel classes and one class was taken with 30 students as a sample. Data analysis using descriptive analysis was carried out by interactive analysis. The use of the inquiry training learning model has a good influence on improving science process skills. The research was conducted in pre-cycle and two cycles. In the pre-cycle with the pretest with a completeness score of only 16.67%, in the first cycle the completeness was 76.67%. Then the learning improvement was carried out again in cycle II, with inquiry training, completeness 83.33% So there was an increase in students' Science Process Skills.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid and reliable Science Process Skills (KPS) assessment instrument in learning Physics temperature and heat material. The research is a Research and Development study with the ADDIE model. The research was conducted at Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Junior High School in Medan. The sample in the study came from 2 physics education lecturers and 3 physics teachers. The instruments in this study were a 15-item multiple choice KPS test sheet and a validation questionnaire. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and validation questionnaires. The KPS indicators studied were observing, formulating hypotheses, identifying variables, interpreting data, communicating, and applying concepts. Data analysis is quantitative and qualitative data analysis with the help of the SPSS version 21 application. The results validation value of 34%, language validation of 31% and validation of 35% with decent criteria, reliability of 0.862 high criteria. This finding explains that the KPS instrument is very valid and reliable to be used in learning physics temperature and heat material.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to measure and find out the validity of the points in Science Physics questions for class VII SMP Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo regarding the subject matter of temperature and heat through a quantitative descriptive approach and data collection techniques which were carried out using a test technique in the form of temperature and heat questions totaling 25 items in the form of multiple choices. The population used was all students of class VII SMP Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo as many as 224 students spread over 7 parallel classes, 40 students were taken randomly. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using the Anates program version 4 for windows. The results showed that the level of validity of the questions was moderate, namely 0.42. Keywords: Validity, Problem, Science Physics

Abstract

This research discusses how to classify the data from period to period by implementing the Apriori method. The data used in this research is sales in 2021-2022. Researchers have carried out stem analysis using the a priori data method used in February 2021. This system can classify sales according to the type of goods that consumers are more interested in. So the types of sales items that are included in the best-selling sales pattern are, 40%, 60%, 70%.

Abstract

Analysis of customer satisfaction with fast food restaurants at one of the fast food restaurants, namely KFC in the city of Medan, is an interesting thing that the author wants to do. This restaurant has many branches. The city of Medan which consists of 21 sub-districts has at least 1 (one) KFC. With so many restaurants, there are various ratings expressed by the customer. Because there are slight differences between one another. when it comes to taste, there will be one voice for the consumers, but not on the price, facilities and services. However, there are also consumers who state that the taste is not good at one of the branches. Research data taken as many as 100 random consumers from different locations. The method used to analyze customer satisfaction is the c4.5 algorithm. The results obtained are the analysis of customer satisfaction which is the highest in taste at 64%. If it tastes good then the customer will feel very satisfied. If there is a bad taste, then the customer considers other things to make them feel satisfied with the fast food restaurant

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the implementation of the P5 (Profil Pelajar Pancasila) strengthening project on student character at SMA Negeri 1 Medan. The research method used is quantitative with correlation analysis techniques, coefficient of determination, and T-test. The research sample is 100 students who were selected randomly. The results of the study showed that there was a significant positive influence between the implementation of the P5 strengthening project and the character of students at SMA Negeri 1 Medan. The coefficient of determination of 0.223 indicates that 22.3% of the variation in student character is influenced by the P5 strengthening project.The findings of this study show that the P5 strengthening project is one of the effective strategies for developing student character at SMA Negeri 1 Medan.

Abstract

The Merdeka Student Exchange Program (PMM) 4 Inbound at Universitas Prima Indonesia aims to enrich the academic and personal experiences of students by providing them with the opportunity to study in a different environment. This research analyzes the impact of the Merdeka Student Exchange Program (PMM) on the creativity and independence of PMM 4 Inbound students at Universitas Prima Indonesia during the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is quantitative, employing a questionnaire as the instrument. The sample consists of 50 students selected through simple random sampling. The results indicate that PMM significantly enhances the creativity and independence of students. The implications of this research provide important insights for the development of similar programs at other higher education institutions.

Abstract

Dalam era digital, penggunaan teknologi dalam pendidikan semakin berkembang, salah satunya melalui aplikasi Brainly yang banyak digunakan oleh siswa untuk membantu pemahaman materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Brainly terhadap pemahaman materi siswa di SMA Methodist Binjai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan korelasional. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada siswa yang aktif menggunakan aplikasi Brainly. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan aplikasi Brainly dengan pemahaman materi pembelajaran siswa. Faktor seperti frekuensi penggunaan, kemudahan akses, dan kepuasan siswa terhadap aplikasi berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Namun, ditemukan pula bahwa ketergantungan terhadap aplikasi ini dapat mengurangi kemandirian belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi penggunaan yang seimbang agar teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Di era society 5.0 yang serba digital, usia tak lagi menjadi hambatan untuk dapat mengakses hal apapun, baik hal-hal yang bersifat positif maupun negative. Baik dari kalangan anak-anak hingga dewasa dapat mengakses segala hal hanya dengan menggunakan teknologi. Usia anak-anak dan remaja cenderung mempraktikkan tindakan berdasarkan apa yang mereka lihat sebelumnya Untuk itu dibutuhkan peran keluarga, sekolah, masyarakat, juga bangsa dan negara dalam menangani kasus bullying. Saat ini video bullying tersebar diberbagai sosial media tanpa adanya sensor terhadap tindakan tersebut. Apabila hal tersebut dipertontonkan untuk komersial, maka kasus bullying kemungkinan akan dinormalisasikan dan menjadi hal yang biasa. Tindakan bullying dapat dialami oleh siapa saja, dimulai dari kalangan anak-anak maupun orang dewasa. Verbal maupun nonverbal, secara sengaja atupun tidak disengaja, tindakan bullying sudah sepantasnya ditindaklanjuti lebih serius oleh pihak penegak hukum di Indonesia. Belakangan ini kasus bullying menjadi salah satu topik hangat yang ramai diperbincangkan baik di kehidupan bermasyarakat dan di sosial media. Bullying sangat berdampak buruk terhadap hubungan emosional,social,psikis dan lain sebaginya. Sebagai seorang siswa tentunya akan mempengaruhi kualitas pergaulan serta prestasi belajar yang mereka miliki. Dengan adanya penelitian yang kami lakukan, kami berharap setidaknya berkurangnya kasus tindakan pembullyan yang terjadi terutama diarea sekolah. Seperti yang kita ketahui bahwa sekolah merupakan rumah kedua bagi siswa juga sebagai lembaga yang mendukung minat bakat prestasi yang ada pada siswa. Saat ini penunjang kurikulum merdeka terhadap kegiatan yang ada bagi siswa bersifat terbuka dan kreatif. Siswa diminta lebih banyak mengeksplore kreatifitas mereka secara berekelompok juga dengan berkegiatan diluar sekolah. Dengan adanya kurikulum merdeka siswa lebih aktif dalam berinteraksi tidak hanya dilingkungan sekolah, namun turut diluar lingkungan sekolah. Terlebih dengan adanya era society 5.0 memampukan siswa dalam mengakses segala hal dengan cukup mudah. Tentunya penyuluhan informasi tentang dampak dari bullying seharusnya lebih mudah diberlakukan. Agar hal tersebut tidak menjadi sebuah hal yang dinormalisasikan, untuk itu kami melakukan penelitian guna mengurangi bahkan menyuarakan stop bullying. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA swasta Eka Prasetya Medan pada bulan April-Juni. Kami meneliti siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen penelitian metode survei berbentuk kuesioner kertas. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, uji statistik, penyajian data, kesimpulan serta saran terhadap penilitian yang kami lakukan. Kami berharap dengan adanya jurnal yang kami buat, akan mengurangi tindakan perlakuan bullying terutama disekolah dan memberikan pencerahan terhadap pembully yang seharusnya tidak melakukan hal-hal diluar hak asasi manusia. Sebagai seorang siswa seharusnya menciptakan lingkungan yang sehat baik hubungan antar siswa secara emosional serta dalam hubungan prestasi belajar. Seorang siswa sebaiknya saling melindungi antar satu sama lain dan saling memberi rasa aman. Sekolah bukan tempat untuk berkompetisi siapa yang lemah dan siapa yang kuat. Dibutuhkan peran sekolah serta para guru dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang aman,nyaman,dan tentunya tentram.

Abstract

This study examines how Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model affects Computer Science students’ ability to solve problems during application development. As technology continues to advance, students must primarily focus on problem solving to succeed in the field of computer science. Project-Based Learning (PjBL) allows students to learn the subject through real-world contexts by facing real-life project assignments that involve the process of problem identification and in-depth analysis and design of solutions. This study examines how PjBL affects students’ ability to collaborate and communicate and solve problems and challenges that arise when PjBL is implemented. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in which 30 Computer Science students from Prima University were involved. Analysis of the results found that the implementation of PjBL provided significant improvements in students’ problem-solving abilities as well as enhancing the development of their teamwork skills and creativity. The PjBL model has proven its effectiveness in preparing students to overcome various challenges in a complex and dynamic workplace. Higher education should use PjBL more often to improve students’ skills in information technology.
