Abstract

Phytoplankton is a microscopic algae that can be found in almost all aquatic habitats. Phytoplankton have an important ecological role in the waters, as the basis of the food chain and as a producer of oxygen, where their composition and abundance are strongly influenced by various environmental factors. This study aims to determine the community structure of phytoplankton including the diversity, abundance and dominance of phytoplankton found in various locations in coastal waters in Southeast Sulawesi. Sampling was carried out in several coastal waters in Southeast Sulawesi including Nambo, Bokori, Batu Gong, Toronipa and Tanjung Tiram beaches. Plankton sampling was carried out by filtering about 100 L of seawater using a plankton net with a mesh size of 20 µm. The filtered plankton samples were then preserved in 4% formalin for further observation in the laboratory. Water quality measurements of temperature, salinity, brightness and pH were carried out in situ while nitrate, phosphate and ammonia were carried out ex-situ. The results showed that there were about 30 species of phytoplankton found where the most species were found in Bokori Island (22 species) followed by Tanjung Tiram beach (21 species), Toronipa beach (19 species) and both Nambo and Batu Gong beaches with 17 species. The highest abundance of phytoplankton was found on Bokori Island (563 individuals/L) and the lowest abundance was found on Batu Gong beach (237 individuals/L). The highest diversity index value was found at Toronipa Beach (2.72) while the lowest diversity index value was found at Batu Gong Beach (2.13). For the dominance index value, the highest value was obtained at Batu Gong Beach (0.18) and the lowest value was obtained at Toronipa Beach (0.08). The difference in the structure of the phytoplankton community found in different locations is due to variation of the environmental conditions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out which public universities offer Islamic religious education. This essay takes a qualitative approach to its analysis. Data were gathered using research techniques from libraries. Finding pertinent literary materials, including books, articles, and online publications, as well as scientific research, that address Islamic education in the digital era was the first step in the study. Additionally, the best sources of information were chosen for the research topic. The study's findings suggest that the following subjects are covered in Islamic Religious Education in Public Universities: The topics covered include Humans and Religion, Islamic Religion, Islamic Religion's Sources, Islamic Teachings' Basic Framework, Aqidah, Sharia, Worship, Mu'amalah, Morals, Piety, Knowledge in Islam, and Islamic Science Discipline. Islamic religious education is taught as a general foundations course in public universities, and it plays a vital role in the process of imparting knowledge as well as changing students' attitudes and behaviors.

Abstract

Khairul Ummah Air Molek Islamic Boarding School (PPKU) has a distinctive feature: collegial collective leadership. This can be seen when decision-making is not decided by the Head of the Boarding School or the Kiyai alone but with the Education quality supervisor and internal quality assurance. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through the perspective of Education science with participatory observation to describe, illustrate, explore, and describe the strategic management of Islamic boarding school leaders in improving the quality of Islamic Education. The purpose of this study is so that readers can learn about the strategic management of Islamic boarding school leaders in improving the quality of graduates at PPKU Air Molek comprehensively from various sides. The results of this study reveal that the Formulation of strategic management of PPKU Air Molek leaders has been running well through the Boarding School musrembang (development plan meeting), which can be seen in the preparation of the vision, mission, goals, and SWOT analysis. The implementation of strategic management has opened 5 branches in Riau province. Strategic management evaluation is carried out by management in yearly, semesterly, quarterly, and monthly evaluation stages based on special events and criteria. Meanwhile, the improvement of Education Quality at PPKU has a significant improvement in Education Quality, firstly, the increasing public interest; secondly, the acceptance of graduates in various well-known schools and universities; and thirdly, all of the Education institutions in PPKU have accreditation.

Abstract

Decision making is essentially a process of choosing one method or course of action from various alternatives to achieve the desired result. Important elements in the decision-making process, namely decision-making must be based on existing facts, based on management's objective considerations and assessment of the situation, based on experience and general views. This study aims to determine the decision-making mechanism of the head of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nurul Huda Kilo Meter 5 Desa Nusantara Jaya, supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as efforts to overcome obstacles that hinder decision making. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical approach, while the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation studies.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan menganalisis peran pengembangan SDM dalam meningkatkan kinerja institusi pendidikan, khususnya dalam menghadapi tantangan global yang kompleks dan dinamis (VUCA). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research dengan analisis kritis terhadap literatur terkait pengembangan SDM, termasuk jurnal, buku, dan laporan penelitian. Data diorganisasikan secara tematis untuk mengidentifikasi faktor pendorong, penghambat, dan dampak pengembangan SDM. Pengembangan SDM yang sistematis melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi terbukti meningkatkan kompetensi guru, produktivitas, dan kinerja institusi. Metode efektif meliputi pendidikan formal, pelatihan kerja, mentoring, sertifikasi profesional, dan pembelajaran mandiri. Faktor internal (visi organisasi, kesempatan karir) dan eksternal (teknologi, kebijakan pemerintah) memengaruhi keberhasilan program. Namun, tantangan seperti kesenjangan digital, rendahnya literasi dasar, dan keterbatasan anggaran menghambat optimalisasi SDM.Pengembangan SDM berkelanjutan merupakan kunci untuk menciptakan tenaga pendidik yang adaptif dan berdaya saing global. Diperlukan komitmen manajemen, kebijakan pendukung, dan integrasi teknologi untuk mencapai layanan pendidikan optimal. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis bagi literatur manajemen SDM dan rekomendasi praktis bagi pemangku kepentingan pendidikan.

Abstract

Fokus permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah manajemen budaya di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Islam Terpadu Syech Walid Thaib Shaleh Indragiri (SMPN IT SWTSI) Riau.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen budaya di SMPN IT SWTSI Sungai Iliran dan untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor yang mempengaruhi manajemen budaya di SMPN IT SWTSI Sungai Iliran. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Planning, dilakukan dengan perumusan sasaran, penetapan tindakan, metode, waktu, lokasi, biaya dan sarana prasarana, (2) Organizing, kepala sekolah meneta pkan pembina kegiatan dan mendelegasikan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan budaya s         ekolah (3) Actuating, pada pelaksanaannya kegiatan budaya sekolah berjalan dengan rutin sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah di tentukan (4) Controlling, pengawasan budaya sekolah di lakukan dengan baik dan kepala sekolah dan Pembina sudah optimal dalam melakukan pengawasan.. Kedua faktor penghambatnya ada dua yaitu, belum mendukungnya sarana dan prasarana yang ada. Sedangkan faktor pendukung ada tiga, yaitu:pembimbing yang memiliki soft skill dan hard skill yang baik, dukungan penuh dari kepala sekolah dan semangat siswa dalam mengikuti setiap kegiatan budaya sekolah. Kegiatan manajemen di SMPN IT SWTSI sudah berjalan, namun membutuhkan dukungan perlu didukung dengan perlu dukungan lingkungan yang kondusif melalui pengembangan komunikasi dan interaksi yang sehat antara kepala sekolah, pendidik, peserta didik, pendidik, orang tua siswa, masyarakat, dan pemerintah.

Abstract

Centralized Kiai leadership, despite being the historical foundation of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), faces significant challenges in addressing the complexities of the 21st century. This article discusses the recontextualization of Kiai leadership through the integration of distributed approaches and systematic regeneration to build institutional resilience. This research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following an adapted PRISMA framework. A literature search was conducted in indexed academic databases using a combination of keywords such as "Kiai leadership," "distributed pesantren leadership," and "pesantren leadership regeneration." Data analysis was conducted thematically on selected studies. The study produced a hypothetical model that transforms the Kiai's role from a single operational leader to a visionary-spiritual leader. Distributed leadership is realized through the empowerment of the asatidz council, senior santri, and professional staff in operational decision-making. This model is implemented in three integrative phases: foundation preparation, empowerment implementation, and ongoing maintenance. The synergy between distributed leadership and regeneration creates a sustainable leadership pipeline. Distribution of responsibilities serves as a laboratory for cadre development, while systematic regeneration ensures the availability and quality of potential successors. This integration allows Islamic boarding schools to maintain their traditional values (such as Uswah Hasanah and Zuhd) while increasing their adaptive capacity and pedagogical innovation, thus building strong organizational resilience in a disruptive era.
