Abstract

Lingkungan berbahasa Arab di lingkungan Pondok Pesantren adalah suatu aktivitas yang sering kita dapatkan, baik Pondok Pesantren Tradisional maupun Pondok Pesantren Modern. Dengan demikian perlu adanya pembentukan dan pembiasaan berbahasa Arab di setiap lingkungan Pondok Pesantren yang ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Training of Trainer (TOT), dengan cara pemeberian materi melalui meetode mubasyarah (langsung), tanya jawab dan pengamatan serta evaluasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencapai empat keterampilan berbahasa Arab yaitu keterampilan mendengar (maharah istima’), keterampilan berbicra (maharah kalam) keterampilan membaca (maharah al-Qiraah), dan keterampilan menulis (maharah al-Kitabah). Hasil penelitian ini adalah pembiasaan berbahasa Arab melalui lingkungan berbahasa Arab di Pondok Pesantren As-Salam Manado adalah program halaqah lughawiyah, biah lughawiyah, dan praktek baca kitab kuning

Abstract

Mufradāt (Kosakata) merupakan salahsatu unsur berbahasa Arab yang kehadirannya bagi pembelajar Bahasa Arab suatu yang penting untuk dipahami sehingga mesti dilakukan pelatihan bagi guru bahasa Arab guna meningkatkan kualitas berbahasa Arab peserta didik. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode ABCD (asset based community development) yang dikembangkan di Madrasah Se-Kota Manado. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kegiatan PkM ini yaitu: 1) dapat membentuk guru bahasa arab yang terampil mendesain pembelajaran dengan media Kahoot! yang sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi peserta didik di abad digital. 2) Kegiatan PkM ini meningkatkan keterampilan guru bahasa arab mendesain pembelajaran mufradāt.

Abstract

In the Society 5.0 era, which is marked by the integration of digital technology and human life, Islamic Education Institutions are faced with unique opportunities and challenges. This article reviews the opportunities and challenges of Islamic education institutions in the era of society 5.0. Then the roles and strategies carried out in overcoming this. Through a literature approach, this article presents an overview of the opportunities for Islamic educational institutions in the era of society 5.0. However, this article also identifies challenges that must be overcome by Islamic educational institutions in the era of society 5.0. By paying attention to these opportunities and challenges, Islamic Education Institutions can play a role and take strategic steps to remain existing and relevant to produce a generation that is able to compete in the era of society 5.0. The results of the first research are 5 opportunities that can be achieved by each Islamic education institution. First, providing wider access to education, second, relevant curriculum development, third, innovative learning, fourth, connection with the real world, and fifth, transformation of the role of educators. The results of the second research are 8 challenges for Islamic educational institutions in the era of society 5.0. Firstly, Islamic education must strictly adhere to educational norms and ethics that do not depart from the legal basis on which it is built, namely the Al-Qur'an and Hadith.Second, Islamic educational institutions adapt to the rise of the industrial market. Third, religious populism and identity politics, fourth, changes in roles and skills, and fifth, technology and accessibility gaps. Sixth, there are changes to the curriculum in learning, seventh, digital security and ethics. Finally, eighth, there is a change in the assessment evaluation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat tema perlindungan dan pemenuhan hak anak berdasarkan kasus – kasus kekerasan yang terjadi pada santri di lingkungan pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pendidikan ramah anak dalam perlindungan dan pemenuhan hak santri di pondok pesantren Arafah Bitung, menjelaskan faktor – faktor penghambatnya, dan menemukan nilai-nilai pendidikan ramah anak yang relevan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan tiga teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan unsur pimpinan, pengasuh, dan santri pondok pesantren Arafah Bitung. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa pendidikan ramah anak di pondok pesantren Arafah Bitung bertujuan untuk membentuk generasi yang kuat dalam keyakinan, ibadah, dan perilaku Islam, serta siap dalam berdakwah dan berinteraksi. Keterbatasan akses komunikasi, infrastruktur pendukung, dan kesesuaian jadwal kegiatan menjadi faktor penghambat dalam menerapkan pendidikan ramah anak di pondok pesantren Arafah Bitung. Nilai – nilai pendidikan ramah anak di pondok pesantren Arafah Bitung mencakup keadilan dan kesetaraan, keselamatan dan kesejahteraan, serta komunikasi dan partisipasi.

Abstract

This study explored the role of education supervisors in enhancing the professional competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in madrasahs across six provinces in Sulawesi, Indonesia. The research responds to concerns over the uneven quality of PAI instruction, which is often hindered by weak supervision, limited training, and inadequate use of digital tools. Employing a qualitative approach, the data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis was used to identify key supervisory functions and challenges. The findings revealed that education supervisors significantly contributed to improving teacher quality through classroom observations, performance evaluations, personalized mentoring, and facilitation of professional training—particularly in the integration of ICT. However, supervision was often constrained by internal factors such as teacher motivation and seniority, as well as external barriers like limited infrastructure and resistance to innovation. To address these challenges, the study presented an ICT-based supervisory model that emphasizes collaboration, reflective practice, and strategic support. This research contributes to the literature by offering a contextualized framework for supervision in Islamic education and proposing scalable strategies for professional development. It also provides global relevance for Islamic educational institutions facing similar structural and pedagogical constraints.

Abstract

Transformative Islamic education focuses on teaching religious values and shaping critical awareness and social responsibility, including in the political context. This study analyzes transformative Islamic education in political education carried out by Islamic religious figures during the 2024 General Election in North Sulawesi. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The sample selection employs purposive sampling, involving 23 informants of Islamic religious figures and Muslim communities from 12 districts/cities in North Sulawesi. Data is collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document studies. The data are analyzed thematically, which includes stages of organizing data, reading the entire data set, coding, identifying key themes, and interpreting the data within the framework of transformative Islamic education theory in the political context. Triangulation is used to ensure the validity of the data. The study’s results indicate that transformative Islamic political education by religious figures successfully increased active and responsible political participation and shaped critical political awareness among the Muslim community in North Sulawesi. In addition, the study also found that the Muslim community in North Sulawesi is increasingly aware of the boundaries between religion as a moral guide in politics and religion as a political tool that can be exploited for specific interests. This study has some limitations, such as being limited to the North Sulawesi region, only studying Islamic religious figures, and focusing on the 2024 General Election, which does not yet represent political education outside the election context. Therefore, further research is recommended to expand the regional scope, conduct interfaith studies, and analyze political education by religious figures in a broader socio-political context.
