Abstract

Abstract This study examines the strategies implemented for education marketing services in Islamic education institutions. This research is motivated by the efforts to develop the quality of Islamic education institutions, so that they could compete with other organizations. Education marketing services are intended to create a conducive and stable marketing condition, so as to have a positive impact on the parties involved in the marketing process (both the school as the producer and the community as consumers). Based on the results of the study, which was conducted at the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Yogyakarta, it was found that Islamic education institutions also implement various strategies in marketing their educational services. The marketing strategy in MAN 1 Yogyakarta is carried out through the application of marketing mix theory (products, prices, places, promotions, human resources, physical evidence, and processes) by utilizing its superior competences as an Islamic educational institution that tends to have moderate ideology, so it can target Muslim communities both from traditional and modern backgrounds as the marketing segment of their educational services. Abstract

Leadership is the most basic thing in organizational management, includingin the field of education. Through a good leadership process, the goals and idealsof the organization can be more easily achieved and realized. This articleexamines conceptually the process of implementing leadership in Islamiceducation. This is seen as important, because the progress and decline of thequality of education is very dependent on the extent to which a leader can carry out his duties and leadership role effectively and efficiently. In this paper, it is found that the fundamental difference between leadership in general, and leadership in Islamic education. That general leadership only focuses on the answer of a leader towards members of the organization. But it is different in Islamic education, which understands that leadership is the task of the Caliphate which emphasizes the importance of answers not only to the members they lead, but also to God Almighty as a source of authority.

Abstract

Teori pembelajaran humanisme meyakini bahwa proses pendidikan tidak diarahkan untuk membentuk kompetensi peserta didik, tetapi sebaliknya dimaksudkan untuk mengembangkan potensi yang melekat dalam diri peserta didik itu sendiri, sebagai pribadi yang unggul dan istimewa. Sehingga sudut pandang yang digunakan ialah sudut pandang dari peserta didik sebagai individu pembelajar, sementara peran pendidik (guru) sebatas pada upaya dan usaha untuk memfasilitasi kebutuhan perkembangan diri dari peserta didik tersebut. Dalam proses pengembangannya menurut Jurgen Habermas, teori pembelajaran humanisme dapat dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan belajar, yaitu: belajar teknis (technical learning), belajar praktis (practical learning), dan belajar emansipatoris (emancipator learning). Melalui tiga tahapan belajar tersebut, peserta didik diharapkan dapat mencapai kesadaran yang utuh mengenai dirinya dan lingkungan sosialnya, hal inilah yang sekaligus menjadikan teori pembelajaran humanisme yang dikembangkan oleh Jurgen Habermas selaras dengan tujuan pendidikan Islam, sebab pada akhinya output dari teori pembelajaran humanisme ialah mencapai kearifan dan bijaksanaan hidup, sehingga seorang peserta didik dapat mengenali siapa dirinya, berikut peran sosial yang harus dilakukannya ditengah-tengah lingkungannya, sehingga pada akhirnya peserta didik dapat mengembangkan potensi dirinya dengan semaksimal mungkin, tanpa tercerabut dari lingkungan kulturalnya.

Abstract

Abstract The role of the family in the educational process, is an inevitable necessity, this is because the important role of the family as the environment of origin, and also the first environment for humans. This shows, the existence of the family is very important, in supporting the achievement of educational goals. Facts and reality in the field show that, the role of the family today, has not shown its maximum effort as the main educational institution, so that there is a practice of violence in the family, both against wife and child, which is certainly very contradictory basic principles in the process of education. The presence of this article, intended to explore the important role of the family, in the educational process based on the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith. This exploration is intended to gain a fundamental essence in the process of family education, so as to provide a new perspective on the perceiving of the family as an important part of the humanizing process. Abstrak Peran keluarga dalam proses pendidikan, adalah suatu keniscayaan yang tidak dapat dielakkan, hal ini sebabkan peran penting keluarga sebagai lingkungan asal, dan sekaligus lingkungan pertama bagi manusia. Hal ini menunjukkan, eksistensi keluarga yang sangat penting artinya, dalam menunjang ketercapain tujuan pendidikan. Berbagai fakta dan realitas dilapangan menunjukkan bahwa, peran keluarga dewasa ini, belum menampilkan usaha maksimalnya sebagai lembaga pendidikan utama, sehingga terjadilah praktik kekerasan dalam keluarga, baik terhadap istri maupun anak, yang tentunya sangat bertentangan prinsip-prinsip dasar dalam proses pendidikan. Hadirnya artikel ini, dimaksudkan untuk mengekslorasi peran penting keluarga, dalam proses pendidikan berdasarkan sudut pandang Al-Qur’an dan Hadis. Pengeksplorasian ini, dimaksudkan untuk mendapatkan esensi mendasar dalam proses pendidikan keluarga, sehingga dapat memberikan sudut pandang baru dalam mempresepsikan keluarga, sebagai bagian penting dari proses pemanusian manusia (humanisasi).

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Ajaran Islam memiliki dua dimensi utama yang saling terkait, yakni dimensi normatif dan dimensi historis. Secara normatif ajaran Islam merupakan dogma yang bersifat transenden, sementara secara historis ajaran Islam merupakan nilai-nilai universal yang dapat menjawab segala tantangan yang ada disekililingnya. Penelitian ini mencoba menghadirkan salah satu pendekatan dalam pengkajian Islam, yaitu pendekatan linguistik. Pendekatan linguistik merupakan salah satu alternatif dalam pengkajian Islam yang berupaya mengali nilai-nilai normatif Islam dan kemudian berusaha memberikan makna yang sesuai dengan tantangan dan perubahan jaman saat ini. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode studi pustaka, dengan cara menghimpun sumber-sumber referensi yang dipandang relevan dengan tema penelitian ini, lalu menganalisisnya sehingga terbentuk substansi utama dalam pembahasan pendekatan lingusitik dalam pengkajian Islam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, bahasa merupakan simbol bunyi yang dipandang mewakili presepsi akal dan hati manusia. Melalui simbol bunyi inilah manusia menegaskan identitas internal-dirinya dan sekaligus cara mempersepsikan lingkungan eksternal yang ada disekelilingnya. Penelitian ini berhasil menjelaskan peran penting bahasa dalam mengartikulasikan ajaran-ajaran Islam, sehingga tetap berkesesuian dengan siklus perkembagan dan perubahan yang ada saat ini. Pendekatan linguistik dapat meminimalkan kesalahpahaman dalam memaknai ajaran-ajaran Islam yang luhur dan moderat.

Abstract

The formation of organizational culture in Islamic educational institutions is an important element that affects the performance and success of the institution. This study aims to analyse the process of forming organizational culture in Islamic educational institutions through the perspective of the epistemological structure of Kuntowijoyo culture. The method used in this study is a literature study, by examining various relevant literature related to organizational culture, Islamic education, and Kuntowijoyo's thought. The epistemological structure of the Kuntowijoyo culture includes three main components: objectification, subjectification, and intersubjectivities. The results of the study show that Islamic values are objectified in the vision, mission, and policies of Islamic educational institutions; subjectifies through the internalization of these values by individuals in daily practice; and intersubjective through social interaction within the institution. The consistent application of Islamic values in all aspects of the organization has proven to be important in shaping and maintaining a strong organizational culture that is aligned with Islamic principles, which ultimately improves the quality of education and the formation of students' character.

Abstract

This article tries to describe the concept of integration-interconnection of science as a meeting point to integrating the mind and revelation. A concept which is positioning human mind and revelation as entities that are not dichotomous, but as relationships that complement to each other, as well as an effort to answer the complexity of the human problems which require a comprehensive and holistic process of settlement. Through critical-analytical studies of the concepts of integration-interconnection of science from various experts, the results of the study show that the term, forms, and implementations of this scientific paradigm are very diverse. Integration is not a single paradigm concept that is suitable in various life contexts, but a dynamic concept. The context in which human a being live will determine the patterns and forms of integration. Space and time, the types of problems and needs, and human creativity in responding the various life problems greatly determine the format and form of this paradigm.
