Abstract

Learning evaluation is an important component of the learning cycle that teachers must carry out. Through the evaluation, it was possible to know the achievement of the objectives of the student and the success of the learning process that has been carried out. Thus, as an attempt to equip Musyrifah Ma’had al-Jami’ah UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung who served as a teacher of Arabic and English materials in Ma'had was required to respond to the development of technology, then training was needed to introduce the application that serves as an interesting and interactive evaluation media. The approach used in this dedication was Participation Action Research (PAR) which consists of initial mapping, building relationships with the community, participatory mappings, formulation of movement strategies, implementation of action for change, evaluation and reflection. From this training, the students be able to create interactive quizzes on quizizz while being able to apply them in the process of learning evaluation on Arabic and English language. Thus, the interactive quizizz training adds the skills of the students in designing learning evaluations interestingly and pleasantly

Abstract

Implementasi pembelajaran abad-21mendorong banyak perubahan dalam proses pembelajaran. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari imlementasi pembelajaran abad-21. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan hasil perkembangan teknologi informasi berupa aplikasi quizizz sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif materi Bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan quizizz sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif Bahasa Arab mampu merubah suasana pembelajaran menjadi menarik dan menyenangkan sehingga bisa meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswapada materi Bahasa Arab

Abstract

ملخص: مهارة الكلام هي إحدى المهارات اللغوية الأربع التي تكون مهمة تامة لتعلمها وإتقانها، لأن الوظيفة الرئيسية للغة العربية هي أداة اتصال. وبالتالي، لكي نتمكن من التحدث باللغة العربية، يجب علينا أن نحفظ المفردات. من المفردات يعبّر الشخص الشعور والاراء والافكار من خلال الكلمات والجمل والعبارات الأخرى. الهدف من هذا البحث هو لتوضيح استخدام طريقة حفظ المفردات لتحسين مهارة كلام تلميذات في الصف الأول في معهد المحسنين ريمبا ميلينتانج مع ايجابياته ومشكلاته باستخدام المنهج النوعى وأساليب جمع البيانات بالملاحظة والمقابلاة والتوثيق وتحليل البيانات بالتحليل الاستقرائي بميلز و هوبرمان و سلدنا بخطوات جمع البيانات و تكشيفها و عرضها و استخلاص النتائج. نتائج البحث من استخدام طريقة حفظ المفردات تتكون من الإعداد و التطبيق و التقويم. و إيجابياته هي التلميذات عرفن بالعديد من المفردات الجديدة و استطعن تكوين الجمل العربية و اعتدن على التحدث باللغة العربية و يمكن للتلميذات المشاركة في مسابقات المناظرة باللغة العربية و عرفن بعض من آيات القرآن الكريم و فهمن نحو و صرف. و مشكلاته هي ضعيفة ذاكرة بعض التلميذات و عدم التركيز منهن على حفظ المفردات و ضعف حب الاستطلاع في المفردات و الصعوبة في كتابة اللغة العربية و العوامل الخلفية لدى التلميذات. الكلمات الأساسية : طريقة حفظ، المفردات، مهارة الكلام. Abstracts: Maharah kalam is one of the four language skills that is very important to learn and master, considering that the main function of Arabic is as a communication tool. Thus, in order to be able to speak Arabic, we have to memorize mufradat. With mufradat someone can express feelings, opinions, thoughts using other sentences and opinions. The aim of this research is to describe the application of the mufradat memorization method to increase maharah kalam, its positive sides and problems. The research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses Miles, Huberman and Saldana theories which consist of data collection, data presentation, data reduction and drawing conclusions. The research results are that the application of the mufradat memorization method consists of preparation, application and assessment. There are several positive sides to the mufradat memorization method, namely that female students are able to practice speaking in Arabic, female students have a lot of new mufradat knowledge, can take part in Arabic debate competitions, know some of the meanings in the Qur'an, can make Arabic sentences, and can learn Nahwu Sharaf. And the problems found in implementing the mufradat memorization method are weak memory and difficulty in focusing as female students memorize mufradat, their low curiosity about mufradat, and the background factors of female students. Keywords: Mufradat, Memorization Method, Maharah Kalam. Abstrak: Maharah kalam adalah salah satu dari empat keterampilan bahasa yang sangat penting untuk dipelajari dan dikuasai, mengingat bahwa fungsi bahasa arab yang paling utama adalah sebagai alat komunikasi. Dengan demikian agar bisa berbicara menggunakan bahasa arab maka kita harus menghafal mufradat. Dengan mufradat seseorang dapat menyatakan rasa, pendapat, fikiran dengan menggunakan kalimat dan pendapat lain. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode hafalan mufradat untuk meningkatkan maharah kalam, sisi positifnya dan masalahnya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teori miles dan huberman dan saldana yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian yaitu Penerapan metode hafalan mufradat terdiri dari persiapan, penerapan, dan penilaian. terdapat beberapa sisi positif dari metode mengafal mufradat adalah siswi mampu menerapkan berbicara menggunakan bahasa arab, siswi memiliki banyak pengetahuan mufradat baru, bisa mengikuti lomba debat bahasa arab, mengetahui sebagian makna didalam al – qur’an, bisa membuat kalimat bahasa arab, dan dapat belajar nahwu sharaf. Dan permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam penerapan metode hafalan mufradat adalah lemahnya daya ingat dan sulitnya untuk fokus sebagai mana siswi menghafal mufradat, rendahnya rasa ingin tahu mereka terhadap mufradat, dan faktor latarbelakang yang dimiliki siswi. Abstract

Linguistic studies in language teaching do not get a dominant place, because the relationship between the two is not direct. Even if we look further, we find that what is taught can be said directly proportional to the meaning of the language itself, which is nothing but the study of linguistics as described by linguists. In the development that occurred, various theories were used in studying the phenomenon of language, one of which was the implicature theory. This theory requires that language be seen from its effects, so that words are arranged and spoken with the aim of giving implications for listeners. More than that, balagah in Arabic studies is wider in scope, because it requires context in speaking, who is the other person, to the choice of words and sentence phrases. In this case, balagah is a good internal approach in compiling, to developing teaching materials in teaching Arabic. With a strict approach, it is hoped that the language taught is actually used and adapted to the situation of students and teachers as part of the community members who use the language and who carry out the learning and teaching process.

Abstract

This research addresses the urgent need for innovation in teaching Arabic reading skills at Islamic higher education institutions. Previous studies on Arabic learning have largely focused on literal understanding, with limited attention to fostering students’ critical thinking skills. This study aims to develop and evaluate Arabic reading materials based on critical thinking to bridge this gap. Employing a research and development method with the ADDIE model, this study was conducted at the Arabic Education Program, UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Data were collected through questionnaires, tests, validation sheets, and interviews. Analysis techniques included descriptive statistics, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain. The results showed a significant improvement in students' reading abilities: post-test scores (M = 70.00) were significantly higher than pre-test scores (M = 55.14) with a p-value of 0.000 and N-Gain of 0.37 (moderate category). The developed material integrated contextual topics, critical thinking tasks, and digital tools. It effectively promoted students’ analytical and evaluative reading skills. The study concludes that reading materials incorporating critical thinking elements are pedagogically effective and relevant to current curriculum needs. Penelitian ini membahas kebutuhan mendesak akan inovasi dalam pengajaran keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab di perguruan tinggi keislaman. Penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya tentang pembelajaran bahasa Arab sebagian besar berfokus pada pemahaman literal, dengan perhatian yang terbatas terhadap pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi bahan ajar membaca bahasa Arab berbasis berpikir kritis guna menjembatani kesenjangan tersebut. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) melalui model ADDIE, penelitian ini dilakukan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, tes, lembar validasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data meliputi statistik deskriptif, uji paired sample t-test, dan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan membaca mahasiswa: skor post-test (M = 70,00) secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan skor pre-test (M = 55,14) dengan nilai p = 0,000 dan N-Gain sebesar 0,37 (kategori sedang). Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memadukan topik kontekstual, tugas berpikir kritis, dan alat digital. Bahan ajar ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca analitis dan evaluatif mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar membaca yang mengintegrasikan elemen berpikir kritis bersifat efektif secara pedagogis dan relevan dengan kebutuhan kurikulum saat ini.

Abstract

In the modern era, technology and communication are developing rapidly and provide teens with an easy way to gain bad influence from various sources. This makes them suffer from serious moral degradation. Especially for students in Arabic language education as potential teachers in religious institutions. So they should be nurtured by introducing advocacy messages in the learning process. The digital teaching materials entitled "mawaadu at-talim li maharah al-qiraah ala asaasi maharah at-tafkiri al-ulya" is considered as a teaching material for reading skills that contains advocacy messages. So the researcher is looking to analyze the teaching materials, which includes a da'wah message consisting of doctrine, sharia, and ethics. This type of research is descriptive-qualitative research using data collection techniques in the form of content analysis, open-ended interviews, and documents. The data analysis techniques used are according to Miles, Huberman, and Saldana and consist of data reduction, data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions (verification). The research was conducted to obtain the results: First, the urgency of the digital teaching material “mawaadu at-talim li maharah al-qiraah ala asaasi maharah at-tafkir al-ulya” for reading skills based on higher order thinking skills can develop students' critical thinking skills, analysis, logic, creativity, and metacognition and then students get the advocacy messages. Second, a da'wah message consists of doctrine, sharia (worship and transactions), and ethics (morals with self and others).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of using exercises based on higher-order thinking skills in teaching reading. The type of this research was quantitative using a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test. The research samples were forty students from all students at the third level of Arabic Language Education Department at the State Islamic University of Tulungagung. Data analysis was carried out using the statistical program SPSS 22 with paired sample T-Test and N-Gain Score. The results of this study indicated the following: (1) the higher-order thinking skills applied in Arabic reading exercises included the analysis level, evaluation and creativity in the formats of multiple choice, essay, true and false, pairing, completion, and work questions; (2) The results showed that there was a difference between the results of the pre-test and post-test with a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.00; T-count was lower than than T-table; and the N-Gain Score value was of 0.61. It indicated that the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted, and the exercise was at a moderately effective level. The finding of this research demonstrated that the exercises based on higher-order thinking skills were effective in improving students’ thinking skills in teaching Arabic reading.
