Abstract

In an organization, a main guideline for the company in achieving the goals set is a response from human resources. This statement requires a workforce capable of managing company activities. In this study, to determine and analyze the effect of individual characteristics and work environment on employee performance at PT Batam Teknologi Gas. PT Batam Teknologi Gas has employees with inaccurate characteristics in recording stock, so they often experience the stocks don’t match, lack of work among employees, which results in many delayed tasks, and less initiative to jointly build a better company. In terms of the inadequate work environment, such as lack of air ventilation in the room, lack of lighting in the room, and disturbing noise when carrying out the assigned tasks. Population of PT Batam Teknologi Gas has 212 employees. Simple random sampling technique is a random sampling technique without paying attention to special criteria, in calculating the number of samples using the Slovin formula with a sample of 139 employees. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire and method uses SPSS 25. Based on the test results, the individual characteristics and the work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

On 2020, a lot of e-commerce can be enjoyed on Indonesia. The internet users increasing every years. That can be be one of the most effective opportunities in the business world. Based on the Iprice Insight on Q3 of 2019, Tokopedia has the largest visitors than Shopee. On Q4 of 2020 Shopee matched the number of visitors Tokopedia. This study aims to determine wether there is an analysis the influence of ease of use, shopping experience and advertisement on buying interest e-commerce customers Tokopedia on Batam City. Researches conducted research with a total sample of 385 respondents based on the non probability sampling with sampling purposive. The method of the analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. Using statistical software SPSS 20. Based on the results of t-test research, it shows that the variable ease of use, shopping experience and advertisement has a positive and significant effect on buying interest, which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results of the f-test research indicate that ease of use, shopping experience and advertisement together have a positive and significant effect on buying interest, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Abstract

Human resources is an important aspect for company's sustainability. Without human resources, an industry definitely cannot be operated properly. Therefore, human resources must be managed properly to increase the employee's productivity. A good human resources management also reflect the company's capability. The goal of this research is to find out the effect of motivation and work discipline to employee's performance in PT Istana Citra Indah that has about 108 employees. This research using statistical data analysis method by using SPSS Version 26 to get the significant results. The results of multiple regression shows that the variables of motivation and work discipline affect significantly positive to employee's performance based on the results of the regression equation and the value of R Square. Based on statistical data, the indicators that used in this research is valid and reliable. The hypothesis test in this research using T-Test that show motivation variable and work discipline affect significantly to employee's performance variable. Through the F-Test it shows that the variables of motivation and work discipline affect simultaneously to the employee's performance variable with the F Value is greater than the F Table.

Abstract

Customer loyalty is become a very important role in a company. Customer loyalty can be effect by various aspects towards a company. PT Elang Dwi Mitra has a lot of issue due to their lack of latest offers, late on delivery, customer is not satisfied with what they are receive and etc. This research has the purpose to find out how the effect of sales promotion, service qualtiy and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty at PT Elang Dwi Mitra. The sample to be used is saturated sampling of 112 respondents. This study is used SPSS version 25 to processing the data and also used distributing questionnaires as the data collection technique. Based on the result that sales promotion has a positive and insignificant effect on customer loyalty toward PT Elang Dwi Mitra. While service quality and customer satisfaction both have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty toward PT Elang Dwi Mitra. Simultaneously that sales promotion, service quality and customer satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty toward PT Elang Dwi Mitra.

Abstract

Many factors that be conducted to a decrease in visitors which in essence will also affect the purchasing decisions of Shopee users. Researchers take quantitative methods in their preparation. The population of the researchers decided that the population of Lubuk Baja Sub-district whose number was unknown and used a questionnaire to get a response. A sample of 204 was determined based on the Jacob Cohen formula. Applying purposive sampling and non-probability sampling. In this research, the researcher uses research development research to add new variables and indicators to previous research and refine it. This research also takes the type of research with a quantitative approach and uses the SPSS version 26 analysis tool. The results of tests carried out through SPSS version 26 prove significantly that the customer rating has no influence on purchasing decisions. The multiple regression test output is 0.175. The T_count value is 1,826 T_(table )1,971 with the significance value is 0,069 from 0,05. The results of tests conducted through SPSS version 26 prove significantly that advertising has an influence on purchasing decisions. The multiple regression output is 0.283. The T_count value is 3.351 T_(table )1.971 with the significance value is 0.01 from 0.05. The results of tests conducted through SPSS version 26 prove that simultaneously customer rating, advertising and service quality have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. The f_count value is 14,565 f_(table)2.65 and the significance value is 0.00 from 0.05. Partially, the customer rating does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. partially advertising and service quality have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. In this study, the variables of customer rating, advertising and service quality simultaneously have a significant influence on purchasing decisions for Shopee users in Batam City.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how product quality, brand image, and word of mouth influence purchasing decisions. The study sample size was 147 people, all of whom were randomly selected and used a questionnaire to collect information. Furthermore, SPSS version 25 is used to perform statistical analysis such as hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, multiple regression, and examination of classical assumptions and data quality. The test results state that product quality will certainly have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a t value of 2.123. Brand image is not able to provide a positive and insignificant influence on purchasing decisions, with the result t count -0.457. word of mouth will certainly have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with the result t count 4,787. Then simultaneously product quality, brand image, and word of mouth will certainly be able to give an influence on purchasing decisions at PT Mandiri Apolindo Perkasa of 36.8% according to the coefficient of determination data (R2). Based on these test results it can be concluded that product quality is certainly capable of giving a positive and significant impact, brand image does not have a positive and insignificant impact, word of mouth is certainly able to provide a positive and significant, and simultaneously product quality, brand image, and word of mouth. mouth is certainly able to give a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions at PT Mandiri Apolindo.

Abstract

This study was designed to explore the influence of convenience, level of trust, and risk perception on purchasing decisions through the use of Shopee PayLater facilities among active students in Batam City. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The target population includes students in Batam City who have used the Shopee PayLater service, although the exact number is unknown. The sampling process applies the Jacob Cohen formula with a purposive sampling method, resulting in 204 respondents. Data processing includes data quality testing, classical assumption testing, influence analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of multiple linear regression show that the convenience variable has an influence of 30.8% on purchasing decisions, while the level of trust contributes 19.0%, and risk perception 30.4%. The coefficient of determination (R²) analysis states that 70.8% of the variation in purchasing decisions is explained by convenience, trust, and risk perception. The t-test and F-test support this finding, indicating that the three variables significantly and positively influence purchasing decisions, both individually and together.

Abstract

Accounting techniques for strategic management incorporate both non-financial and financial data into an organization's strategic decision-making process. Through an examination of the literature, the study seeks to ascertain the practice of strategic management accounting. The balanced scorecard, value chain analysis, and competitive benchmarking are just a few of the frequently utilized strategic management accounting tools and methodologies that are identified in this study. Google Scholar, a significant source of Indonesian scientific publications over the previous ten years, was used in the study's literature analysis to ascertain the use of strategic management accounting. This literature review provides a thorough picture of the development of research on the relationship between strategic management accounting, service quality, knowledge management, and performance by methodically arranging findings, methodology, and concepts chronologically. Optimizing strategic decision-making, resource management, and service quality all depend on the successful integration of strategic management accounting. It is anticipated that the organization will benefit greatly from the synergy between these components. By providing a more thorough understanding of the genesis, advantages, and difficulties of strategic management accounting techniques, this study advances management accounting theory and practice. Empirical investigation of the efficacy of strategic management accounting techniques in various industry and national contexts is one of the recommendations for additional research.

Abstract

Many prospective investors, including students, feel hesitant to invest due to a lack of understanding of financial literacy. This is exacerbated by previous experiences of losses that make them even more hesitant in making investment decisions. In addition, the assumption that the minimum capital required to invest is very large is also a factor that inhibits investment intentions. The method used in this study is quantitative, with a research population of 100 accounting study program students in Batam City. To determine a representative sample, the researcher used the Slovin formula, which resulted in 97 respondents. The sampling technique applied was simple random sampling, so that each individual had an equal opportunity to be selected. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression tests. The results of the analysis showed that minimum capital had a significant effect on the investment interest of accounting students in Batam, while financial literacy had an effect but was not significant. Based on the results of simultaneous testing in this study, it can be concluded that the independent variables (minimum capital and financial literacy) have a simultaneous effect on the interest of accounting students

Abstract

The presence of financial technology (fintech) in Indonesia helps micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in developing their businesses. Increased access to the world of banking has made MSME business easier. However, the limited ability of MSME players to apply fintech hinders its spread. "Fintech is a technological innovation aimed at complementing and facilitating financial transactions in society. The existence of fintech will make it easier for people to access various products in the financial sector and facilitate transactions and increase financial literacy. "MSMEs in Indonesia contribute 60% of the country's economy and absorb 97% of the workforce. However, even though there are more than 60 million MSMEs in Indonesia, only 12% can get financing or business capital loans from banks. This is where the role of fintech comes to help MSMEs,". Simple financial management literacy with an approach to financial technology is very relevant to current conditions. One of the applications of financial management with financial technology is as a medium for investing in stocks, where currently using smartphones significantly increases the efficiency of stock investment activities compared to conventional investment methods. The target participants in community service activities are MSME actors in the Patam Lestari Village area. The reason for choosing MSMEs is that currently the condition is being hit by the Covid19 pandemic, it has an impact on the economy of society in general and the buying and selling process of MSMEs in particular. The methods used in community service are counseling, question and answer, and practice methods. The results of the training received a good response from the participants. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire that was distributed, there were 85% of participants who strongly agreed that the topics discussed were in accordance with the participants' expectations, 87% of participants strongly agreed that the material presented by the speaker was clear, and 89% of participants strongly agreed that the speaker mastered the topic presented.
