Abstract

This research aim to re-examine the relationship between bank profitability and its influence factors in banking system in Indonesia. We used ten banks who had biggest assets as a population and samples for this research: BRI, Mandiri Bank, BCA, BNI, CIMB Niaga, BTN, Panin Bank, Permata Bank, Maybank, and Danamon Bank with the interval observation 2012 to 2015. As a dependent variable is ROA as a profitability proxy, the independent variables are CAR (capital adequacy ratio), LOAN, GDP (gross domestic product) and inflation. The regression result shows CAR, LOAN, GDP have an important contribution and significant to profitability (ROA) in bank in Indonesia, whereas the inflation variable has unsignificant influence and negative to profitability (ROA).

Abstract

This research is performed in order to test the influence of variable, Fixed Asset Ratio (FAR), Likuiditas (CR), Retained Earning (RE) and Return On Asset (ROA), on Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), comparation company in the BEI LQ 45 during period 2011-2014. Methodology research as the sample used purposive sampling with criteria as (1). The Company listed to the BEI LQ45 during research period (2011- 2014); (2). The Company always showed financial report during research period (2011-2014); (3). Having complete data which suitable for the research. The data based on publicity ICMD since 2011-2014. Analysis technic with multilinier regression of polled data and hypotheses test used t-statisic and f-statistic at level of significance 5%. Results of analysis showed that the predictive ability of the four independent variables (FAR, CR, RE, ROA) is 55.2% and it shown by adjusted R2value. Based on the test statistic F indicates that the variables FAR, CR, RE ROA simultantly affect DER on companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2011-2014 because has a significance value less than 5% of Alpha value. Meanwhile, based on statistical t test showed that the ROA and RE is negative and significant impact of DER because it has a significance value less than 5% of Alpha value.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah terdapat pengaruh dari Lingkungan Kerja dan Work-Life Balance terhadap Kepuasan Kerja pada karyawan divisi klaim PT. Asuransi Ramayana, Tbk Jakarta.Penelitian ini didasari beberapa teori yang mendukung penelitian, berhubungan dengan Lingkungan Kerja, Work- Life Balance dan Kepuasan Kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan tetap divisi klaim PT. Asuransi Ramayana, Tbk Jakarta dan dilakukan tidak secara acak. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan penyebaran kuesioner. Selanjutnya setelah pengumpulan data selesai maka penulis melakukan pengolahan data dengan pengujian regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui hasil dari hubungan antar variabel yang diteliti dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 21. Penelitian ini berhasil membuktikan adanya pengaruh positif secara signifikan variabel Lingkungan Kerja dan Work-Life Balance secara parsial maupun secara simultan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja pada karyawan di divisi klaim PT. Asuransi Ramayana, Tbk Jakarta. Dengan nilai kontribusi (R square) sebesar 68,4% dan nilai F hitung 56,312 > 3,16 F tabel. Adapun variabel yang paling dominan mempengaruhi Kepuasan Kerja dalam penelitian ini adalah Work-Life Balance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan Kepuasan kerja secara parsial maupun secara bersama-sama terhadap Produktivitas kerja karyawan pada karyawan PT. Ganepo Perkasa Nusantara Jakarta dan Bekasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Populasi berjumlah 110 orang dan metode sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 90 orang. Metode analisis data menggunakan software SPSS Versi 25.00. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan secara parsial Lingkungan Kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Karyawan, ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien regresi 0,615 dan nilai thitung 6,322 > ttabel 1,99394 dan taraf signifikan sig. 0,000 ≤0,05. Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Karyawan, ditunjukkan dengan koefisien regresi 0,773 dan nilai thitung 6,605 > ttabel 1,99394 dan taraf signifikan sig. 0,000 ≤ 0,05.Dan secara bersama-sama Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Produktivitas Karyawan, ditunjukkan dengan nilai Fhitung 29,872 > Ftabel 3,13 dan taraf signifikan 0,000 ≤ 0,05, dengan demikian hipotesis penelitian H1, H2, & H3 diterima, hal ini juga didukung dengan nilai R square sebesar46,0%. Hal ini menunjukkan besarnya kontribusi pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja dan Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Produktivitas Karyawan sebesar 46,0%. Berdasarkan analisis regresi berganda diketahui bahwa koefisien regresi variabel Lingkungan Kerja sebesar 0,365 dan koefisien regresi variabel Kepuasan Kerja sebesar 0,501. Ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel bebas yang dominan mempengaruhi variabel terikat Produktivitas Kerja Karyawan adalah Kepuasan Kerja.

Abstract

FinTech, a word derived from a combination of "Financial" and "Technology”. Nowadays, this term refers to a new business in the Indonesian financial and banking industry, a technological innovation that is attracting public attention. The purpose of this study is to develop a FinTech mechanism model for technological innovation in the Indonesian Financial and Banking Industry. Problems arise in how to develop the FinTech mechanism model that influenced by business drivers factors, which in turn has an impact on technology innovations that developed. In this case study, the research used is mixed-method, which is a method that combines qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative research data were collected using the literature study, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions with related parties. Data survey using a questionnaire conducted for quantitative research, where the data was processed using smartPLS software. The results of this study produce a theoretical framework, which is the basis of the conceptual framework and empirical model of this research. The results of empirical tests on this model show that the FinTech mechanism has a role in mediating business drivers factors towards technology innovations developed in the Indonesian Financial and Banking Industry. The contribution of this research can provide insight and understanding for researchers and practitioners who want to develop business models related to FinTech in more depth.

Abstract

Along with technological developments and the occurrence of a pandemic caused by the Covid-19 Virus, many activities are carried out digitally and remotely. This pandemic causes disruption and constraints in various industries, sections or sectors. Higher education is one of the sectors experiencing disruption during the Covid-19 pandemic, where teaching and learning processes that were previously held face-to-face in the classroom have turned into virtual spaces. This makes lecturers and students have to be ready to adapt and carry out the teaching and learning process by utilizing technology such as Learning Management Systems, Video Conferences, and Campus Academic Systems. Not infrequently the teaching and learning process becomes monotonous, boring and limited in conveying and receiving the material provided. With the development of information technology can produce a concept of teaching and learning with the help of technology which is commonly called Gamification. The concept of Gamification using Mechanics Dynamic Emotional (MDE) Framework adopts elements of the game concept into the teaching and learning process because it has Mechanical, Dynamics, and Emotional aspects so that learning conditions can be created that are more interesting, fun and enjoyable. The MDE framework will be integrated into e-learning using the Research and Development (R&D) method. The R & D method is a method that is able to improve a product or make a product better. The stages in this study were made into 6 steps, namely: problem identification, data collection, analysis, village, trial and implementation, evaluation. And it can be said that by implementing gamification in lectures in the capital market at e-learning Perbanas succeeded in increasing interest, interaction, and learning atmosphere.

Abstract

The acceleration of digital transformation and business model innovations fundamentally improves business growth and performance. However, the occurrence of the COVID-19 pandemic has a significant influence on the insecurity of many business actors, especially Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). There are many efforts to recover the national economy by accelerating digital transformation for MSMEs programs by the government of the Republic of Indonesia. However, the problem arises when the process of accelerating digital transformation in Indonesian MSMEs is considered slow to encourage Indonesia’s National Economic Recovery (PEN as shortened in Indonesian) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research aimed to present a design model for accelerating digital transformation during the COVID-19 pandemic for Indonesian MSMEs. The research applied a descriptive-analytic approach with a qualitative method. Then, the analysis reviewed the content analysis of previous research. The two research models were analyzed. One was from Indonesia, while another one was from outside Indonesia. The results of the model design reveal that the acceleration of digital transformation is influenced by business driving factors and impacts the gaining value from business model innovations. The model of accelerating digital transformation for MSMEs is expected to contribute significantly to supporting government programs and strengthening National Economic Recovery policies during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Since the launch of green banking, the Government Authority still needs to accommodate enacted norms and fintech in measuring sustainable bank performance. Empirically, this study aims to reveal the impact of variables and business drivers on sustainable bank performance. This research uses a quantitative approach through path analysis. By analysing 70 out of 78 bank managers or directors who are members of the National Banking Association as respondents, this study states that business drivers, fintech, and enacted norms encourage sustainable bank performance improvement. In addition, fintech and enacted norms are suitable as moderating and exogenous variables for sustainable bank performance, but the variables are not endogenous variables for business drivers. In addition, fintech and enacted norms can bridge the achievement of sustainable bank performance. The originality of this research is that enacted norms and fintech are the moderating variables in realising bank sustainability. The research suggests that enacted norms should be one of the new dimensions in measuring bank sustainability, and the existence of fintech could be an integral part of realising sustainable bank performance. Doi: 10.28991/ESJ-2023-07-06-017 Full Text: PDF

Abstract

This training aims to improve the understanding and skills of Ikanesia West Java business actors in recording financial transactions systematically and accurately. This activity is a form of community service collaboration between Perbanas Institute and Universiti Teknologi Mara Malaysia. In this training, participants are given a basic understanding of accounting, the benefits of financial record-keeping, as well as simple record-keeping techniques that can be applied in the fisheries business. With this training, it is hoped that business actors can increase transparency and efficiency in their financial management.
