Abstract

Creative thinking is a crucial competency in vocational education, especially in facing the challenges of the dynamic aviation industry. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the improvement of creative thinking skills of vocational education students at the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic. This study uses a quantitative approach to analyze the relationship between variables, with a sample of 100 students taken using a simple random sampling technique from a population of 525 Vocational Education students at the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic. Data were collected through questionnaires and then analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression using SPSS 22 software. The results showed that Intrinsic Motivation Factors, Innovative Teaching Method Factors, and Industry Support Factors had a significant influence on students' creative thinking skills, while Learning Environment Factors did not have a significant effect. The Adjusted R Square determination coefficient of 0.687 indicates that 68.7% of the variation in creative thinking skills can be explained by the independent variables in the model, with the remaining 31.3% explained by other factors outside the model.

Abstract

In the world of aviation, it takes the right time, time synchronization is very important for the aviation system. If the time of the flight telecommunication facility is out of sync or out of sync, the flight data will be chaotic, so it is not known when the aircraft will land. If the time is not synchronized, data on accident incidents will be difficult to find. This research method uses an Microcontroller connected to the Network Time Protocol Server through internet media, then the Network Time Protocol Server generates time data in the form of Coordinate Universal Time. The Microcontroller functions as a server on the device that will perform time synchronization, and the Network Time Protocol Server data has accurate time accuracy. In the event of a time shift it will be compensated by the Microcontroller.

Abstract

Kemajuan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi telah membawa banyak pengaruh dan perubahan dalam peradaban manusia. Semua bidang dan sektor kini sedang berlomba – lomba untuk berevolusi menuju era digital. Tak terkecuali dalam bidang pendidikan yang perlahan meninggalkan metode pembelajaran konvensional dan beralih ke metode Electronic learning untuk mendukung proses belajar yang lebih cepat, akurat, dan efisien. E-Learning adalah proses belajar secara efektif yang dihasilkan dengan cara menggabungkan penyampaian materi secara digital yang terdiri dari dukungan dan layanan belajar untuk mencapai tingkat pembelajaran yang tinggi.pada penelitian ini menggunakan platform pengembang Aplikasi berbasis PC sebagai alat untuk mendesain dan melakukan perancangan. Aplikasi Mobile Based Test menggabungkan 3 jenis tipe akun dengan peran yang berbeda - beda yaitu Administrator sebagai pengelola aplikasi, Dosen sebagai Tutor, dan Taruna sebagai siswa. Aplikasi ini akan dijalankan di Smartphone Android dan  terintegrasi dengan Database sebagai pusat pangkalan data.  Aplikasi Mobile Based Test nantinya dapat mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang meliputi suatu aktifitas akademik berupa kuis, ujian harian, ujian tengah semester, ujian akhir semester dan berbagai metode penilaian yang menggunakan teori di jurusan Teknik Navigasi Udara.

Abstract

Microstrip antennas play a crucial role in modern wireless communication systems owing to their compact geometry, low manufacturing cost, and ease of integration with planar circuitry. Despite these advantages, conventional microstrip antennas encounter inherent limitations such as narrow bandwidth, low gain, and reduced radiation efficiency. To overcome these challenges, this study introduces an improved antenna configuration incorporating metamaterial structures—particularly the Split-Ring Resonator (SRR) and the Electromagnetic Band Gap (EBG)—designed to enhance electromagnetic performance through surface-wave suppression and resonance manipulation. A rigorous simulation procedure using CST Microwave Studio is employed to analyze the effects of metamaterial placement and geometric optimization. The investigation focuses on key performance parameters, including S-parameters (S11, S21), bandwidth, radiation patterns, gain, and radiation efficiency. Through parametric evaluation, the integration of metamaterials is expected to significantly improve impedance matching, broaden operational bandwidth, and enhance radiation stability compared to conventional designs. The results of this work are anticipated to provide meaningful insights into how metamaterial structures can reshape current distribution and modify antenna behavior across targeted frequency bands. These findings contribute valuable knowledge for developing high-efficiency antennas suitable for next-generation wireless technologies, particularly millimeter-wave applications, IoT devices, and high-frequency communication systems.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi pendidikan, khususnya penggunaan LearningManagement System (LMS) berbasis WordPress di Politeknik PenerbanganSurabaya, masih memerlukan pengembangan untuk meningkatkan kualitaspembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodifikasi LMS berbasisWordPress agar lebih efektif dan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Kajian pustakamengacu pada teori media pembelajaran, LMS, serta pengelolaan website berbasisWordPress, termasuk integrasi plugin Tutor LMS, Elementor, dan WP-Database.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research andDevelopment / R&D) dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, modifikasi,implementasi, dan evaluasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, sertavalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwamodifikasi LMS berhasil meningkatkan tampilan antarmuka, menambah variasimateri, serta menyertakan fitur batasan waktu dan sertifikat otomatis. Uji kelayakanmemperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 85%, yang termasuk dalam kategori “SangatLayak” untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, modifikasiLMS berbasis WordPress di Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya efektif dalammeningkatkan kualitas penyampaian materi dan memberikan fleksibilitas belajarbagi pengguna.
