Abstract

The low proportion of elementary school students achieving minimum proficiency in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning has become a significant challenge to achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 on Quality Education, particularly Indicator 4.1.1. PISA 2022 data placed Indonesia 70th out of 79 participating countries in mathematics performance, while the 2023 National Assessment showed that more than 60% of elementary school students had not achieved minimum numeracy competency. This study aims to design and develop a Smart Tutor STEM platform based on learning analytics using the K-Means Clustering algorithm to provide personalized adaptive learning experiences for students in grades 4–6 at SD GMIM 23 Manado. The method employed is Design Science Research (DSR), consisting of six stages: problem identification, definition of solution objectives, design and development, demonstration, evaluation, and communication. The platform is developed using React.js as the frontend, Python FastAPI as the backend, PostgreSQL as the database, and Scikit-learn for implementing K-Means Clustering. The K-Means algorithm groups students into three clusters based on five learning feature vectors: average STEM scores, task completion time, frequency of material repetition, answer accuracy level, and learning consistency. Clustering quality is validated using the Silhouette Score and Davies-Bouldin Index. Platform effectiveness is measured using pre-post tests with paired t-tests and N-Gain analysis, while usability is assessed using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The expected outcomes are: (1) a functional and adaptive Smart Tutor STEM platform with a Silhouette Score ≥ 0.5; (2) a significant increase in the proportion of students achieving the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) in STEM (p-value < 0.05); (3) an SUS score ≥ 70 (Good category), indicating that the platform is easy to use; and (4) a tangible contribution to achieving SDG Indicator 4.1.1 at SD GMIM 23 Manado. Abstract

Pengembangan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) sebagai bagian dari transisi energi terbarukan menuntut ketersediaan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten, khususnya dalam aspek instalasi, operasi, dan pemeliharaan sistem. Namun, proses pembelajaran di pendidikan vokasi masih menghadapi keterbatasan dalam penyediaan modul penuntun praktikum yang terstruktur dan selaras dengan kebutuhan uji kompetensi. Kondisi ini menyebabkan belum optimalnya pencapaian keterampilan praktis peserta didik sesuai standar industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang konsep modul penuntun praktikum pada alat uji kompetensi PLTS yang sistematis, aplikatif, dan berbasis kebutuhan industri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, studi literatur, serta perancangan konseptual modul. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan melalui identifikasi kompetensi utama yang harus dikuasai, meliputi instalasi sistem PLTS, pengujian kinerja, troubleshooting, serta penerapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). Hasil analisis kemudian digunakan sebagai dasar dalam menyusun struktur dan isi modul praktikum yang terintegrasi dengan alat uji kompetensi. Berdasarkan hasil perancangan, topik-topik pembahasan dalam modul penuntun praktikum disusun secara bertahap dari aspek dasar hingga lanjutan, meliputi: (1) pengukuran karakteristik panel surya, yang mencakup identifikasi parameter listrik seperti tegangan, arus, dan daya; (2) instalasi panel surya pada blok instalasi atap, sebagai representasi pemasangan modul secara mekanik; (3) instalasi sistem PLTS tipe on-grid, yang mencakup integrasi dengan jaringan listrik; (4) instalasi sistem PLTS tipe off-grid, termasuk konfigurasi sistem dengan baterai; (5) pengoperasian sistem PLTS on-grid dan off-grid untuk memahami aliran daya dan performa sistem; (6) pemeliharaan sistem PLTS, yang mencakup pemeriksaan komponen, pengujian kinerja, dan identifikasi gangguan.

Abstract

Pengembangan laboratorium Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) berbasis Teaching Factory (TeFa) menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam pendidikan vokasi untuk menjawab tuntutan kompetensi industri energi terbarukan. Fasilitas laboratorium yang masih bersifat konvensional dan belum terintegrasi dengan kondisi kerja nyata menyebabkan keterbatasan pengalaman praktis peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang konsep laboratorium PLTS berbasis Teaching Factory yang mampu mengintegrasikan pembelajaran, praktik, dan produksi dalam satu sistem yang terpadu. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, studi literatur, perancangan konseptual, serta validasi desain. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kompetensi utama yang dibutuhkan industri, meliputi instalasi, operasi, maintenance, dan troubleshooting, serta soft skills seperti keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3), kerja tim, dan dokumentasi teknis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan alur kerja perencanaan, instalasi, pengujian, dan evaluasi mampu mendukung penerapan learning by doing serta menghasilkan produk nyata. Rancangan fasilitas laboratorium mencakup infrastruktur fisik, peralatan utama, sistem pendukung berbasis teknologi, fasilitas pembelajaran, dan aspek K3 yang terintegrasi.

Abstract

Government activities that can be assisted by applications or software such as registration, making family cards or registration for making identification cards and others. The demand for making applications has become so many from existing agencies that it causes new problems. For example, there is no monitoring of software development which makes it difficult for employees in related agencies to know when the system can be used and cannot know the progress of making their applications. Another problem is that the absence of a computerized monitoring scheme results in systems or applications ordered by existing agencies becoming irregular. In the old order flow, communication about the development of the system with the development team always cannot be directly communicated because the ordering office cannot give direct notes based on problems in the system so that the trouble accumulates. Based on existing problems, the concept of a monitoring system for software development or software was developed which can accommodate these problems. This concept is developed in several stages, namely literature study and data collection, needs analysis, concept design design, analysis and evaluation of existing concepts. The result of the existing design is a context diagram containing 3 actors and 1 system that is related to each other. In addition, there is a sequence diagram for the request system where there are 2 actors, namely the Agency and the Development Team who are interconnected in completing the contract for making the system / application ordered. It is hoped that the concept of this monitoring system can help the government in monitoring and regulating software development, especially within related agencies in the Manado city government.

Abstract

In this era of highly developed technology and information, work and technology must coexist in achieving maximum results. With existing technology, work can collaborate with each other without knowing place and time so as to optimize the output of work. This also happens in government, which is a medium to serve the community. The government must serve all the needs of its people well and precisely and quickly in the process so that satisfaction from the community can rise. It's just that many in the government, especially the city of Manado, for example, agencies still use data independently so that other agencies or governments cannot access it. The use of technology is only as an application that is specialized for the agency even though the processed data can be used for other agencies related to the data. This causes the wrong use of information technology in terms of bridging between human work and humans themselves. If left unchecked, the actual work that can be collaborated does not occur even though there is already technology in the business process. Therefore, a system and modeling of data management that is appropriate in bridging the applications of each agency is needed so that applications can access the same data without overhauling all applications that have been running in each existing agency. In this research, a semantic-based system concept is developed for a data management system that can be accessed by different agencies and even other government institutions. The system concept will carry ontology modeling as the basis of the system so that data can be conceptualized according to the designation of the data. The purpose of this research is to create a passing system and cross data or documents using semantics for all standalone systems in government agencies so that data is no longer uploaded repeatedly in each existing system.
