Abstract

Almost all criminal law experts and criminologists say that the crime of terrorism is an extraordinary crime and the judicial process is different from ordinary crimes. Due to the extraordinary nature of this crime, almost all countries use special laws to deal with criminal acts of terrorism. The criminal act of terrorism is an extraordinary crime which is not easy to disclose, besides that terrorism is one of the crimes that has penetrated the territorial boundaries of a country and is a crime of violating human rights (extra ordinary crime). However, in eradicating criminal acts of terrorism, law enforcement officers must uphold human rights. Terror suspects or suspects are human beings who have human rights that we must respect. This means that they must also be treated like other human beings, whose rights as human beings must be fulfilled.

Abstract

This study aims to undertake a comprehensive analysis addressing the extent, growth patterns, and geographical spread, of journals, authors, and articles that have demonstrated the most significant impact in terms of relevance. The methodology entails the use of visualization techniques and bibliometric analysis as quantitative tools and the adoption of an evaluative and descriptive approach to depict the research analysis. The data sourced from the reputable Scopus database have led to the identification of a total of 850 publications, encompassing various formats such as repositories, books, book chapters, journal articles, and proceedings. In the analysis of these publications, the study delves into the years 1926-2023, employing the R Studio and VOS Viewer software. The finding shows that North America and Europe are well-represented among the top contributors. The article's production over time highlights diverse trajectories among countries like Spain, the United Kingdom, the USA, Indonesia, and Canada. However, it's noteworthy that high productivity doesn't guarantee a similar level of citation impact. The relationship between productivity and relevance, is intricate, reflecting the dynamic nature of research impact in the academic domain. Furthermore, the analysis reveals a noticeable upward trend in the frequency of key categories such as leadership, human, article, education, and others over the specified period. Furthermore, the persistence of these trends from 2021 to 2023 signifies the enduring relevance and evolution of participative leadership research. The exploration of correlations with traditionally less associated dimensions reflects the field's adaptability and responsiveness to contemporary issues.

Abstract

The MASTER School (terminal mosque) is a free school founded by community representatives focusing on inclusive schools for marginalized people from low-income families in the Depok area, West Java. This school is considered to support the government's strategic plan to provide education for all. However, realizing the lack of the government's role in equalizing access to education, this paper attempts to answer the question: What factors are initiatives for MASTER schools to consider when developing inclusive education for marginalized groups through community-based education? How does MASTER school develop inclusive education for marginalized groups through community-based education? The method in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The data was collected from interviews and observations of schools and classes, as well as from relevant journals and articles, sist research analysis. The findings of this paper show that several factors contributed to the establishment of the MASTER school, including social awareness, which is generated by self-designed school founders motivated by the surrounding social environment. In addition, the inclusive education implemented at the MASTER school is based on a narrow understanding of the differences between children in the same room and pro. It provides education without the support of adequate facilities and teachers. In addition, there still needs to be more understanding of educational inclusion, which is also a challenge for its implementation.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to investigate differences and correlations in engagement levels within university organizations among PMII members across Islamic State and private higher education institutions in Cirebon, as well as differences in their self-actualization. The research employs a quantitative approach with systematic random sampling. A sample of 285 participants was selected from a population of 1070 PMII members at these institutions with analysis techniques involving the Mann-Whitney U test for the first and second research questions, and Spearman’s correlation for the third. Results indicated a statistically significant difference in engagement levels within organizations between Islamic state and private higher education (U = 7193.500, z = -2.263, p = .024), suggesting higher engagement among Islamic state students. However, no significant difference was found in self-actualization levels between these groups (U = 5128, z = -.166, p = .868). Moreover, a strong positive correlation was observed between engagement levels within organizations and self-actualization among PMII members in both Islamic state and private institutions (rs = .525, p < .001).
